i need to imagine some scenarios
and the lord sayest unto me, "lock the fuck in"
academic dishonesty is not something you can spin as moral lol i do not want to share a career field let alone a social sphere with a bunch of chatgpt using ass bitches
"you're just scared your diploma is going to devalue" i'm afraid you dumb bitches are going to become my colleagues and drag social services to hell
I'm afraid they'll become scientists and data that lives depend on will turn out to be wrong - and people will die.
I'm afraid they'll become engineers and sign off on bridge designs that collapse - and people will die.
I'm afraid they'll become medical professionals who don't know what they're doing - and people will die.
The assumption that academic dishonesty is okay is rooted in the idea that what you're learning to do doesn't matter.

superman, an undocumented immigrant being accused of representing some greater political agenda, made a political target after opposing an illegal occupation of an entire country, gets thrown into a secret and unlawful prison by a billionaire and tortured while the people in his life are put at risk. james gunn i knew you had the sauce but this. next fucking level. i love superman (2025)
oscar could commit vehicular manslaughter in the mclaren garage and you’d find me turning a blind eye btw
george russell will do anything (cut corners, start a divorce, etc) besides make his two pit stops

you know those dead wife montages they have in movies? that’s what logan sargeant is to me. he’s my f1 dead wife
happy international oscar piastri day!!
generally you shouldn't write run-on sentences because they get confusing and it doesn't give the reader a break. that doesn't apply to me though my run-on sentences are fun and understandable and they have a rhythm to it that makes you want to keep reading

love when percy's suicidal and he gets upset that he can't drown. dude you have other options
what belongs to the sea can always return to the sea mhm mhm
ohhhh losing my mind over this actually, reminds me of my old post about this too. where i basically say:
"one of the first things he says about it is that it gets you killed in nasty, painful ways. thinking about percy and drowning and the belief that maybe here, in his father's waters, his father's kingdom, his father's throne, his father's arms, in the ocean itself, he wishes to be pulled under, he dreams of drowning, he dreams of death, because this is his father's domain and perhaps if his father loves him enough, if he ever met his end here, if he drowned, it would be a peaceful, painless one."
and it just--it's maybe not the same sentiment as prev, but its just--what belongs to the sea can always return. there's a sense of coming home there that he won't get elsewhere.
