one thing i’ve learnt with two curious squeaker babies is that dorsal fin up = happy/relaxed. i specifically see my male one like this given his fins are fully black, unlike my female’s, which are slightly transparent and spotted. whenever i change their little home, i notice that they like to nibble around and are more welcoming to swimming out in the open
