it is my second week at a new job. I am meeting with the CEO for the first time this afternoon. and fucking Sharedrive Copoint Onepilot shitfucker just decides to delete every single shared file across the entire company and blame me

I just randomly got an email that started "we noticed you just deleted 200 folders" no I fucking didnae what the fuck are you on about. so I go to the fuckass Sharepoint site and sure enough, everything says "deleted by [Fez] at 12:01pm" okay so when I was in a meeting without my fucking laptop???

apparently what happened is:

Copilot decided it would be convenient to sync the entire company shared drive to my laptop.

the pissass laptop they issued me Cannae Do That and crapped itself looking for hard drive space, leaving the local folder empty.

seeing that the local version of the shared drive was empty, Sharepoint helpfully synced that change back to the server.

I am meeting the CEO in 3 minutes

On This Day — July 21, 1937

The Grand Mufti of Jerusalem met the German Consul in Mandate Palestine and sought German support, beginning a deeper collaboration that would make him one of the most enthusiastic advocates for the extermination of Jews.

Amin al-Husseini fled British arrest for his role in the vicious Arab Revolt shortly thereafter and sought an alliance with Nazi Germany.

He would later boast in his memoirs that he asked Hitler for a free hand to “eradicate every last Jew from Palestine and the Arab world,” using “the scientific methods innovated by Germany.”

According to al-Husseini’s memoirs, Hitler replied: “The Jews are yours.”

Al-Husseini met with Adolf Eichmann during the latter’s 1937 visit to Mandate Palestine and maintained a close relationship with him. He actively supported the Nazi war effort, recruited Muslims for Waffen-SS units, and pushed for the Final Solution to extend into the Middle East.

One of the most prominent Arab leaders of the time didn’t just oppose “Zionism,” he actively sought the total annihilation of Jews, collaborating with the very regime carrying out the Holocaust.
