I like to think that Azul absolutely hateddd the idea of romantically liking Idia, and then he just got even more down bad that he couldn't escape and just sighed and gave in eventually.

idia on the other hand p. quickly knew he liked Azul, he was just too scared to say anything about it cuz he didn't want to mess up the singular relationship close to being a friendship that he has.

Role Swap Au~

Idia, the go-getting Ignihyde house warden and Azul, the shy hermit and head of Octavinelle.

- The idea came when I thought about how easily they could’ve been like each other from both a watsonian and doyalist perspective. Hades is a fast talking scammer (like Azul in canon) and Ursula is an outcast who keeps to herself (like Idia in canon).

- Ortho never died in the au, so Idia’s main focus is on breaking the curse before Ortho gets older so Ortho can have his freedom. Idia is a workaholic and a fake-it-till you make it salesman type. His current goal is to recruit as many people as possible to STYX so they can get freed faster. he overused pet names like how Hades refers to Megara in the movie, but like with literally everyone.

- Idia still likes games and anime, but hasn’t engaged with any of his interests in years. He still has anxiety, but just powers through it due to his desperation. Wakes himself up by talking to himself in front of the mirror and reminding himself of the stakes.

- He’s a smooth talker who tries to look professional but he’s visibly a little haggard despite his best efforts. has major imposter syndrome and toxic positivity going on as he just keeps trying to push through the problems and ignore their source.

- He runs an Internet cafe out of Ignihyde, and his main goal is suckering people into spending their internships at STYX which is easier said than done when they can’t even know what STYX even is

- Azul in this universe never changed- he remained a shy crybaby as his mom pulled him out of school after Azul’s grandma died and Azul had a mental breakdown. He’s been severely depressed ever since.

- His main interest are coins (like in canon) but also other collectables like TCGs, which is actually how he met Idia. he just really likes collecting stuff. He also does textile work and made the sweater and beanie he wears. Azul really likes books and novels and prefers losing himself in a good book to reality. He’s a chronic mumbler and extremely soft spoken.

- He’s a curse magic specialist, which he uses on people who piss him off. He’s non confrontational but resentful, and won’t say a word to someone’s face but he will slash their tires in the middle of the night. He became house warden after cursing the old one until the former house warden dropped out of school.

- Idia wants Azul to join STYX, since Azul is a curse specialist and a prodigy. Azul is scared of literally everyone but also wants a friend (since the Tweels never got an interest in him in childhood and he’s terrified of then now (and therefore keeps cursing them)) so Idia offers to be his friend in exchange for joining STYX when he’s older.

- Azul often runs to Idia if he feels threatened or scared and Idia will verbally decimate whoever made him upset. They’re both usuimg ecahotehr and they both know it, but neither of them care.

Happy pride month (again), have some polyamory headcanons about the twst cast:

Ace: I think he doesn’t really get polyamory at first, but I do think he’d be willing to have a non monogamous relationship. Prefers a closed relationship with the members all dating (classic polycule style)

Deuce: Similar to Ace, never really heard of it before but would absolutely fw it

Cater: Polyamorous and would never have a fully monogamous relationship. It’s just not for him I think. He definitely has had a lot of open relationships before and while he did enjoy them, I think he’d prefer a closed polycule.

Trey: Willing to have a fully monogamous relationship, but I do think he’d prefers multiple partners. Not necessarily in a polycule way, but I could see that too.

Riddle: Initially doesn’t think he could ever do it and finds it shameful, but after some character growth I think he’d be open to it. Actually works really well in a polycule, definitely the type of person to have explicit labels for all his relationships and their boundaries.

Jack: Polyamorous and has a lot of internalized shame about it since wolf beastmen are only supposed to have one partner forever, etc. It takes him a while to confront that part of himself, but he is def poly

Ruggie: I think he’d be willing to try? He doesn’t really care for having multiple partners himself, but if his partner wants to see other people he’s fine with it. Besides, the more people, the less percentage of rent he has to pay /j

Leona: Initially pessimistic about it, but I do think he could have a Polyamorous Relationship. Prefers a closed relationship to an open one.

Jade: polyamorous but would be willing to have a monogamous relationship.

Floyd: Does not do monogamy. Ever. He’s fine with a closed relationship, but he could never be with just one person, he just doesn’t work like that.

Azul: Putting the negation in polycule negotiations. Brings out a contract and everything, even if it’s not legally binding. Very good at having clear boundaries and communication. Could do either monogamy or polyamory without issue and would be happy either way. Cannot do a fully open relationship- prefers one where everyone in either dating or at least good friends.

Jamil: Fully monogamous. He’s both kind of possessive and also hasn’t had any good examples of healthy polyamory.

Kalim: Has a bad impression of polyamory given how his father’s relationships work but I do think he’d be happy in an open relationship. So long as everyone in the relationship cares for each other, he doesn’t really have any limits of how many people they can have.

Epel: Probably willing to be in a polycule, but anything more esoteric or complex than a closed polycule makes no sense to him.

Rook: Fully non monogamous. Only does open relationships, but is very, very clear about it. Like, have you see how he acts with Vil and Neige? Absolutely polyam.

Vil: Poly but also aware he has jealously issues and thus usually shys away from open relationships. Eventually learns how to deal with it. In the meantime, it’s a mess of feeling love for multiple people and also wanting to be the “favourite”. His issues genuinely piss himself off so bad.

Ortho: Has had free will for less than a year. Not sure of anything romance related yet.

Idia: Fine with either monogamy or polyamory. He’s mostly surprised to be in a relationship in the first place lol

Sebek: Polyam but doesn’t really know it. Thinks everyone is like that and that monogamy is, like, a tax thing. Like, you love multiple but only marry one because otherwise the paperwork would be too complicated.

Silver: Too aroace for this. Doesn’t want any relationships at all.

Lilia: Fully non monogamous and would never have a monogamous relationship. It’s just not for him. Like, everyone talks about Bi Lilia canon, and that is true, but he’s also in love with those people at the same time. You know he wanted to be their third.

Malleus: fully monogamous. Could never stand seeing his partner with someone else and only is ever in love with one person at a time.

yessss, I like to imagine Azul is such a big cuddler. and since yknow he's an octopus he just wraps like every limb be has around Idia like every time they sleep in the same bed, idia wakes up and literally can't move at all. I feel like idia would defo be weird about it at first but then he realizes he actually doesn't care and it's nice being held so he just let's it happen

idia defo trues to get out of azuls hold a couple times, but I like to think that when he's asleep Azul has like a grip that's incomparable to any other living being on idia so all he manages to achieve is squirming around in bed.

I like to imagine that yeah, Azul is deffffinitely the most touchy of them both when their relationship is new, like this guy is so happy.

and at the start idia doesn't rly know what to do so he kinda just treats Azul the same as when they were 'friends' LOL but then he'd eventually get the whole boyfriend thing and relax a little bit.

and then I figure he'd be just as touchy and clingy as Azul, like they just add onto the others touchyness like they can't stop themselves.
