ANIMAL CROSSING HAPPY HOME DESIGNER AND AMIIBO CARDS

A new Animal Crossing game was announced in the latest Nintendo Direct called Animal Crossing Happy Home Designer, which will work with the newly revealed Animal Crossing amiibo cards.

Do you feel like you have what it takes to step into the shoes of New Leaf’s Happy Home Academy? Have a passion for designing and decorating homes? In Animal Crossing Happy Home Designer you can do just that. You interact with your favourite Animal Crossing characters in a new way as you take on the role of a home designer, turning their dream home into reality. Using their requests as a guideline, its up to you to select a style, furniture and decorations to make their home a happy home. 

Each of the new amiibo cards feature a character from the Animal Crossing series and when scanned, you will have the ability to design that character’s home. Once you’re done with your decorating skills, scanning more cards will invite other characters to the room for a little get together and a picture perfect moment. 

Animal Crossing Happy Home Designer and the Animal Crossing amiibo cards will be released Autumn / Fall 2015.

Stepping Stone Fleur

Remember that one time when I made some flowered stepping stones? Well, I made a new one! this one has a bit darker grass that soooort of comes close to matching the grass in my town (okay, it’s not that close, but what can you do) with white/yellow flowers. I’ve included a screenshot of the create a pattern view so you if you want to make you own and/or change up the colors you can use it as a guideline! If I can find the time I maaaaay design a plain flower/grass pattern to go with it (like my old patterns had). We’ll see, though :p

Some semi-realistic pavement patterns I made, brick and concrete. I’d downloaded some Japanese ones, which I used for a long time, but I prefer this more naturalistic, less cutesy style for the pavement in my town. I couldn’t find exactly what I wanted, so I had to make my own.

I also couldn’t help showing off my town of Jinxvill a little bit. It’s still a WIP, but if you’d like to have a look around, my dream address is 5300-2430-7740.
