The 2014 Crossroads International Film Festival closes with four fabulous films on February 23 at the Darkside Cinema in downtown Corvallis, Oregon.
Its not often you find an Australian film showing in theaters in 2014, let alone one made in 2000 and set in 1969.
During week two of the Crossroads International Film Festival, three films are screened at the Darkside Cinema in Downtown Corvallis, Oregon. Showing at 1:30 pm is the Danish Drama "Teddy Bear" about a shy bodybuilder looking for his soul mate. "English Vinglish" is showing at 4:00 pm, viewers find this uplifting Indian comedy/drama to be charming as we watch Sashi grow in confidence and self respect. Finally, the powerful documentary "Hitler's Children" is showing at 6:30 pm, there will be a discussion following the screening led by Professor Paul Kopperman. Admission is $6 per ticket.

Six great films for a great cause
Documentaries by their nature show social, political or environmental activism. There are now a lot of documentaries out there that are more entertaining than most narrative fictional movies that you see. So we are just trying to broaden the audiences a little bit by saying ‘look even though this documentary is about something important, it can also be an entertaining, engaging film’.
Guy Lavallee, Program Director of the 31st Global Visions Festival.
