Oregon artist, Jeff Hess, likes for people to experience his art/photography without actually knowing what it is or what’s going on. I found this out when I asked him for more information about this object that I found as part of his “In Pursuit of Gravity” collection. He said he’d rather we enjoy it instead of trying to figure it out.

Julian Hakes shoes. Spotted in Footwise in Kensington Church Street, London, a shop specialising in comfy shoes. So amazingly they're apparently comfortably cushioned and not cripplers after all.

3rd street is a busy street in Corvallis, Oregon. Even on a rainy day you can find people walking down the streets and visiting the shops that are located here, or riding their bikes to get from one place to the next. Citizens Bank is a prominent building on 3rd street, located close to Dairy Queen and Block 15. Other popular stores include Northern Star, Many Hands Trading Company and Footwise, a shoe store and certified Birkenstock repair store. Aurelia Jorgensen (top) has been working at Footwise now for about six and a half years. Starting up front as a shoe salesperson, she slowly worked her way up and after five years was able to start repairing the shoes that she sold. She has now been repairing shoes for a year and a half and loves it.
