Day 1 - Drawing (nearly) Everyday Until I Make Art My Career —————— Scarecrow is my favorite DC villain, even if I don’t read a ton of DC comics

Rambling below explaining why:

Anyways I completely revamped my Jon’s personality and now he’s— oh my god he’s pathetic and I adore him??

Okay listen. Before y’all get your pitchforks LISTEN- Jonathan’s whole thing is fear. Causing it, controlling it, studying it.

It’d make sense for him to be afraid as well. And a lot of the time he is. But you never really see him anxious and terrified unless he’s drugged. A lot of the time his personality is scholarly, reserved, hidden sadism under science.

Why not strip that away? Leave him a neurotic professor turned rogue. As Scarecrow of course he feels far more confident in his abilities, his second skin even. I’m still working on this part, but for now he’s more— campy? He’s clearly enjoying being Scarecrow. Laughing and Hroo hraaing and everything.

Also violent dancing. God I love the violent dancing it’s so fun to imagine.

Anyways he’s still a meta-human as well, still horribly traumatized by his entire childhood— teen hood. Though instead of being an Arkham doctor he’s just a professor until he gets fired and then goes “TIME TO DRESS AS A SCARECROW AND GET REVENGE AND EXPERIMENT ON FEAR.”

Although cryptid scarecrow still lives in my au.

I’ll make a proper post about all that eventually. For now yall get this. Also if you see any spelling mistakes no you didn’t.
