spent way too much time on this lol. Did i have to do all the lineart and coloring and whatever? No, but i did so that's the way it is.

Ratch and Oppy for scale; most regular mechs are around Ratchet height (like Prowl, Smokescreen, Jazz, Wheeljack, etc.) and taller are around Op height (Shockwave, Megs, Magnus). An adult seeker would be a bit shorter than Ratch, same for a bike and a light sports-car. An adult minibot (like Cliffjumper) would be about as tall as Sunstreaker is now. A human would be up to Bee's shinguard. A shuttle would have Op at chest-height.

--but like scale is a super weak point of mine so whether all this is/stays completely consistent is up in the air. Scram is tiny and that's what's important.

It always struck me as odd that whenever people want Pharma and Ratchet to have a falling out in AUs they always make it Pharma’s fault. To me it just doesn’t make sense.

They were friends for *4 million years*. You don’t get that kind of friendship if you’re not at the very least compatible on the surface level. They had a close friendship up until the day on which Ratchet left for Earth.

By the way Pharma acted in the flashback he was completely at ease and talking freely with Ratchet who had come to try and say goodbye before chickening out and walking away while Pharma was trying to ask him on what to do with Prowl’s orders. We can guess that until the last time they saw each other before Delphi there was no bad blood between them. As it has been showed in canon, Ratchet had a hard time saying goodbye to people he cares about which adds to the claim that they were on good terms until the end. Ratchet was the one who ran off and didn’t do right by Pharma by giving him a proper goodbye when he knows they might not see each other for a long time.

Which brings me back to my main point. It’s fascinating to me that in every AU I’ve ever seen it’s Pharma that fucked up royally and ruined his friendship with Ratchet when in the comics it wasn’t his personality (aka his perceived aggressiveness, cockiness or made up insistence that functionism is the way to go which he never says in canon) or Pharma’s normal everyday actions that ruin their relationship but him falling into a psychotic breakdown after years of mental and physical torture by the worst group of Decepticons in history (the DJD) and doing something that he would have never even considered doing if not in this highly improbable situation to be in.

If anything I’d say Ratchet broke off their friendship first because it was more convenient to give up on Pharma rather than help him, but that’s a topic for another time. (To be clear I’m not putting all of the blame on Ratchet I’m just saying that he is definitely not blameless)

This is getting too long but all I’m saying is that it’s weird to me that in every AU Pharma ruins their friendship by just being ‘himself’ when it’s blatantly clear that that’s not what happened in canon. (Side note I think a lot of people when writing Pharma use his worst moments and actions to base his whole personality off of which skewers his character horrendously.)

I know people don’t like making their favourite characters be the ‘bad guy’ in situations and it’s easier to blame the character that’s disliked or outright hated by almost 90% of the fandom but let’s be fr.

I’m not saying people aren’t entitled to doing whatever they want in their own AUs, I just wanted to point out a pattern that is not very true to the source material versions of the characters in a sense.

um hi not to be weird, and i already left a comment on the most recent chapter of “I Can’t Trust the Fall” but it has to be my favorite Starscream redemption au of all time. Like everyone is so in character and it is just SO GOOD. It’s so much fun, I love Lazerbeak, and I adore the way that you have portrayed Knockout

and OH MY GOODNESS WHEN MEGATRON HURT SOUNDWAVE I WAS LITERALLY SHOOK.

and also, about Lazerbeak, is does she look like the way she does in prime, or have you imagined her to look more like she does in G1? (sorry if that was mentioned somewhere in the fic and i didn’t catch it 😭)
