MORE STICKERS!! I went with those guys because I really like how they look like in Lost Light :> I gave them drinks because heck, they do deserve something nice in their lives vv
(I drew Ratchet the usual way, with the sketchy lineart, and with Drift I went for a more clean look, which I think works better for a sticker. Honestly I'm learning as I go, transformers do be hard to draw)
One of the best things about being a writer is thinking of something small you can add to your work that’s just. Devastating. Like you’re sitting there going. Oh. That would be diabolical. People would get really riled up about that. Exquisite. Let’s do it.
i don't even gaf about shipping discourse because i'm a big boy and a bad person for other worse reasons but if i can be real for a moment "proship DNI" in bio means nothing to me. if you want to keep me out you're going to need to line your blog with salt and iron or rat poison or something.
actually if i were to be less flippant and more brutally honest with you all my disdain for it stems from how much of it is just a thinly veiled excuse for people to fight about their fictional relationship preferences or simply for the sake of arguing without any investment in the reality of what they're claiming to represent and then take pride in their empty, performative activism. i still recommend the rat poison though.
girl help they are calling me a pedophile sympathiser in the notes for trying to point out that being disgusted by something is not the same as meaningfully working to prevent and safeguard against it by critically engaging with the complex reality of it. can i please just have the rat poison.
"Silver Skulls Chapter defeats the ork invasion!"
despite taking many creative liberties to make this as easy for myself as possible, this one page comic has still taken a week. with 5 days of procrastinating in the middle
anyways, go read The Infinite and The Divine. I go and sleep finally.
At a certain point an Admech has to get frustrated enough to employ percussive maintenance, right? There's only so much chanting over the air conditioner you can do before you start throwing hands with the machine spirit.
I should be able to draw whatever I want to my own satisfaction the first time I try without practicing

Rest in peace, John Blanche
The father of Warhammer 40k art direction and the man that has inspired me as an artist, down to inspiring my current artstyle (and I am sure will continue to inspire me, even in death). 40k just wouldn't be 40k had it not been for the foundation of grimdark sci-fi that he laid.
Farewell, you absolute legend.
Why is Warhammer obsessed with rank and file grunts that canonically have no personality or thoughts? Off the top of my head theres thousand sons, skiitari, tryanids and necrons. Like I wanna get into necrons especially but it's so much less interesting when I can't play around with lower rank personalities.
Here's what you're going to do, okay? You're going to go read the Twice Dead King novels. You're going to re-examine your statements with new context and from a more informed standpoint, and then you're going to report back.
Setting aside the factual errors behind the question, what is WARhammer doing exploring themes of dehumanization and the ways in which violent institutions attempt to/succeed in erasing individual identities? Why would the horror in a sci-fi/fantasy horror WAR game include the horror of having your personality stripped in a setting of systemic violence? I have no idea why this keeps showing up in WARhammer!
Okay so this is the vibe I'm generally getting between these two:
Optimus: *Asks for plan for dangerous, necessary mission*
Prowl: *Suggests efficient solution that will result in many, many causalities*
Optimus: *Refuses, suggests something needlessly self-sacrificing*
Prowl: *Explains for the fourth time this quartex why Optimus dying is bad for the war effort and then counters with all the much better ideas that he didn't say because they would kill even more innocent people*
Optimus: *Makes a sad face and tells Prowl killing people just because it's easier is wrong*
Prowl: *Throws up his servos, and suggests the fifteenth solution on his list, but it's less efficient, it's gonna waste a whole extra cycle, but fine, just stop making that Primus-damned face*
Optimus: *Thanks Prowl, tells him to take a break*
Prowl: *Leaves, does not take a break, pencils in war crimes for the next afternoon*
