Falls head over heels for a girl wreathed in laurel. Out there, in a big city somewhere, Eros laughs. (The twenty-first century has no space for poets and musicians and golden-hearted gods left shining alone.) In the new age, the twins can’t find each other. The forests are cut down and the sun hides behind smoke. On an island off the coast of Greece, Leto weeps.

Ancient Deities; Marzanna, Marzanna is the Baltic and Slavic goddess associated with death, winter, and nightmares. Her death brings the end of winter, and her effigy was ritually burned or drowned as the season came to a close in order to quicken the arrival of spring and receive a good harvest. The drowning of Marzanna’s effigy symbolised her descent to the underworld, from where she would be reborn at the next onset of winter.

My handmade grimoire! 

I used this Japanese binding technique to put the pages and cover together.

It’s pretty easy to make, plus it has the advantage of being a very unique book. While you craft it, you can charge every pages and every ornements with your energy! I used hot glue to make the embossed designs. Acrylic paint to cover everything. Beads, paper flowers and shells as ornements.
