like imagine their friend and/or coworker being like “don’t you think you should take a break?” once their need becomes obvious, or if they’re the more straightforward type, pulling them out of their seat and shoving them to the bathroom.

this could go a few different ways:

it works. they run the rest of the way and slam the door shut, and when they return, their friend says, sarcastically, “feeling better?” they blush and nod slightly, going back to their desk.

they are stubborn and just sit back down. their friend either gives up or tries it again, hoping they get the hint.

the second they are pulled to their feet, they lose control from the sudden movement. their friend feels immense guilt from watching them wet uncontrollably, tears forming in their eyes as they try to stop the flow. cue the apologies and aftercare scene.

Ed starting off just having the occasional genuine accident, but despite the embarrassment, ends up loving how Stede cares for him after that he mayyybe starts wetting on purpose sometimes...

it's just, Stede is so sweet and gentle with him after accidents, and he doesn't know how to ask for that, so even though it's mortifying, he ends up wetting on purpose because it means Stede will take care of him in that way.

the only trouble is, this means the amount of "accidents" he's been having has gone up by a lot really fast. he's not the best at pacing himself, and Stede notices. it's only once Stede starts to genuinely worry about him, concerned that he's sick or injured or stressing over something to cause this many accidents, that Ed comes clean and admits that after a while, they stopped being genuine accidents. he didn't mean to worry Stede, he just wanted to be taken care of...

I don't think Stede can be too mad about it. He doesn't like being lied to, but more than anything he just wishes that Ed had just asked for what he really wanted... And that in the future, if he really enjoys that type of care that much, then perhaps he's welcome to keep having "accidents" and Stede can keep helping him afterwards ♡

For Ed, getting his nails pulled off is easier than verbalizing that he enjoys the soft care that Stede gives him- he's a pirate so, softness is hidden behind numerous walls!

So, having "accidents" is far easier to Ed- even if it means having to experience soaked leather clinging to his legs and actually having to wet himself, somehow making it seems like an accident!

Of course, Stede is a bit sad that Ed lied but, also sad in the sense that Ed thought he had to do something so elaborate to receive care- he wants Ed to feel comfortable around him to say these wants ;0;

But oooh you know once this is admitted, Stede is down for these ""accidents"", perhaps in the cabin so his poor Ed doesn't have to walk suuuch a long distance to the cabin for some loving care ;u; 💖

Hhh hh h hey… Ed having one of those moments where he doesn’t realise how full his bladder is until he stands up, cries out and clutches himself, luckily he just manages to hold it all in… But Stede notices and thinks he let go, Ed’s wearing his leathers so you wouldn’t be able to see he didn’t make it for a while until it soaked through. Stede comforts him like he had an accident but since he’s not saying it out loud, just things like “oh you poor thing, let’s get you inside, it’s ok” Ed thinks Stede’s just helping him to the toilet… But… Stede’s taking it awfully slow… Ed’s getting really really desperate… when they get into the cabin Stede steers him away from the direction of the bathroom and Ed’s heart is sinking but before he can bring up the words to object Stede’s already got him sitting down, then Stede goes “I’ll get you a change of clothes, you just relax and don’t worry about it” and that’s the final straw, Ed can’t help it anymore, his body relaxes completely and floods his leathers for real

At first, Ed takes Stede slow walking as just Stede helping him by keeping a steady pace so Ed won't leak- so he tries soo hard to take the kind gesture and keep holding it-

But when he's seated down, far too far away for the pirate to even attempt getting to the washroom- feeling his bladder pressing against the belt, the man just CAN'T anymore

As Stede is bustling around to find Ed some dry clothing- until he hears a strangled noise, he turns back around and sees Ed doubled over, being witness to the urine saturating the seat, pooling on the floor beneath

Of course, Stede doesn't always have enough brain cells so,,at first glance, he thinks that is just all the urine that had been collecting in the leathers and when Ed sat down, the urine escaped the leather confines-

But, it clicks that isn't the case when Ed is apologizing and breathless as one is when they've just finished having an accident! Stede feels a pang of guilt, because he kinda slowed down any chance Ed had of actually making it!

Thankfully, if any consolation, Stede already has dry clothing ready for Ed and probably was just about to start getting a bath ready- so, Ed doesn't have to stay in those soaked leathers for long♡

Like the "did you panic?" Video but it's just their nerves making a mess out of them and suddenly they can't even stop it... They just feel too embarrassed and overwhelmed and now there's a puddle and cleaning to do and they feel so ashamed to have that kind of reaction 😭

Ed whispering to Stede that he really has to go but they’re nowhere near a bathroom so Stede starts trying to help and reassure him, telling him to hold himself and give a squeeze if he has to but if it starts to hurt he can just let go and they’ll clean him up as soon as they can. Ed getting so squirmy and desperate that he can’t undo his trousers so Stede has to unbutton them and slide them down, then help him aim. Or, Ed doesn’t make it and has an accident leaning against Stede whispering and whimpering as his pants get wet and the pressure finally goes away 🫶

Ed typically is a guy who will just go when he wants- but, around Stede, he wants to show he can hold it until they're at a proper place to relieve himself

And, at times, that's hard! Which has Ed's brows knitted in concentration as he is focusing on trying to keep it all in, which has little whines and noises escaping his mouth- making it very obvious to Stede just what's wrong with the pirate

By the end, Ed is practically waddling, one foot shuffling ahead of the other as his bladder aches, threatening to spill with one false move- Stede is right there, reassuring Ed he's doing a good job, he's almost there!

Usually that juvenile praise would have Ed red in the face but, right now, he needs it to keep his confidence up or else he's spill!

They finally get to where Ed can go but, he's so desperate that the simple motion of untying and unbuckling his leather pants is far too tedious. Having him look to Stede, those baby brown eyes just, glittering with utter fear of an accident.

So, Stede helps, gently brushing Ed's hands to thr side as he makes quick work of what's keeping Ed bounded.

And the instant he's pulled out, urine starts to splatter against the ground/reciprocal-

If he doesn't make it and has an accident, the end is the same-

Ed melts against Stede, his Adam's apple bobbing as he groans at the utter relief he's feeling. His body feels like jelly, so shaky from the emptiness his body now has.

And Stede hums, kissing Ed's cheek♡

I love caring considerate Stede but I also love the idea of Stede not having any sense of subtlety or embarrassment when Ed has an accident. Just says “Ohh sweetheart, you’ve made another little puddle, haven’t you? Come along, let’s get you changed” at a normal talking volume regardless of who’s around, because he didn’t think to lower his voice and he didn’t get the hint from Ed’s body language that Ed was trying to hide it 😔

Sometimes Stede just has one braincell and it's currently dedicated to helping Ed out, forgetting that others are around or to perhaps move closer than a foot away to ask thessr things to Ed xD

Stede knows Ed's cues by now, he knows when the pirate king has created a puddle in his pants- but, he's got box vision and thinks Ed's reddening face and knitted brows are just from being embarrassed about having an accident

So Stede is all cheery like, "Ooh it's alright, love! I know that silly ol' bladder if yours makes tinkles when it wants."

And that just has Ed even more embarrassed and he just shoves his face in Stede's chest, grumbling about just wanting to go to the cabin now😂

Mod Ed being into omo and Stede being so supportive of holds and wettings (though he worries about bladder strain sometimes) until he notices Ed is maybe setting himself up for a deliberate bed wetting, then he walks over to Ed’s side of the bed and very firmly wraps him up in a cloth diaper, telling him if he’s going to make puddles he should at least keep them in his pants.

But, he does draw the line at deliberate bedwetting, especially on the Supima cotton/Egyptian cotton bedding (regular ol' sheets would be fine but, these thread counts aren't for pee xD)

So, he definitely catches Ed drinking quite a bit of water at an unusual time for the man and that Ed skips using the washroom before slipping into bed-

He sets his book down, picking something up from the basket at the foot of the bed and goes over to Ed's side, asking Ed if he'd be a dear and sit up on the side of the bed for a moment.

Ed's a bit confused but does so- immediately to be laied down as Stede holds out the cloth diaper.

"Now, I'm fine and dandy with floor puddles and pants piddles but, this is a shared space and I would prefer to keep my side dry, so, shall we meet in the middle?" Stede says.

Ed is surprised but, nods vigorously, allowing Stede to diaper him nice and cozy, the snug cloth around his hips, it felt,,nice,,,comforting in a sense.

"There we are," Stede says with a little clap, "All snug and all those puddles will stay on your side," he chuckles as he slips back into bed, leaning over and kissing Ed, "Goodnight, dear." 💖

Sicky ed who wont admit that hes sick until he coughs too hard while on deck and floods his pants. Stede just watches him pitifully anf waits until the hissing & splattering comes to an end and his cocaptain’s puddle is finished growing to help clean him up and comfort him

Edddd omfg 😭 He's fuking Blackbeard, the fearsome pirate, of course he doesn't get sick! Or so he tries to convince others and himself-

He probably downed a bunch of water and tea to soothe his dry throat and "fix" himself so he's ready for the next raid.

But, he's coughing and sniffling, when the crew give him looks, he just waves it off as pollen from a nearby island (they're in the middle of the sea, miles from land). Stede comes over to Ed, asking him if he's really alright.

As Ed is about to grumble out a stern "No" he has a coughing fit, a strong one ends it which,,,,has the man flooding his pants, Ed just has to wearily stand there as his sick weakened bladder gives in- leaving the deck in stunned silence.

When he's finished, Stede gently ushers Ed down to the cabin- leaving Fang or whoever to clap their hands and say "Alright,back to work you all!"

Ed finally admits to the fact he's sick- which, Stede bites back a chuckle because that's been obvious all day. But, Stede just rubs Ed's shoulder, telling him it's alright, they'll get him cleaned up and then straight to bed for some much required rest♡

Edward Teach definitely is the kind of guy who is lying in bed, so comfy, it's so late he kinda needs to pee but really doesn't want to get up and thinks Eh what's the worst that will happen? And just goes to sleep. He wets the bed. That's what will happen.

He knows he should probably just bite the bullet and get up but the floor is soooo cold and that means he'd have to leave the comfy bed + nice blankets- the latrines/chamber pot is just too far for Ed to be assed to get up (the chamber pot is literally a few inches away)

So, the man just curls up, just letting himself relax into a good sleep. And maan his dreams are weirdly water centric! He's at a waterfall with Stede and they're splashing around but, oddly enough, the water is really warm when ever Stede splashes him?? Huh-

Ed groggily stretches out the next morning, his body quickly waking up when he shivers at the very cold fabrics clinging to his body. He flips the blanket off and is staring at the large puddle shape beneath his bottom

Surely this isn't from him- he must have spilt something in his sleep,,,something piss scented xD

Thank god he's Blackbeard, no one will utter a word if they find him with wet bundled bedding-

Goddd Ed is breathy whining, doing his darndest to not squirm too heavily- shifting in his seat, those watery doe eyes looking to Stede, who will do a small press check to see how far along Ed is

Eventually, Stede decides that Ed is indeed full enough- the blonde scoots Ed to be seated on his lap. Praising Ed for doing soooo good, listening to him and for being such a good boy, he can let go, he has certainly earned it💖💖

It's pure euphoria for Ed, his bladder near instantly giving out the moment Stede gives him permission- urine loudly hissing from beneath his leather pants, the piss streaming out from the small areas where the pants are tied up at- certainly damping the gentleman pirate who is seated below- his hand still laying on Ed's bladder, completely amazed that he can physically feel the bladder deflating

It's just, not something Ed is quite ready to understand that he doesn't have to have a physical reason for comfort-

So, on a day where Ed is feeling low (perhaps Ed got in a spat with some pirate while raiding and they said something that kinda cut deep and although the pirate was gutted, the words still have him upset!) and he's really just wants some of that comfort of Stede stroking his face and cuddling him close-

But,,,god, asking Stede for that??? Physically impossible for Ed, he just can't get his mouth to say it- obviously this means he'll have to find another way to seek the company he wants!

Ofc this is an ""accident"", he pretends that he had been trying sooo hard to make it to the latrines but, his body just couldn't hold it anymore! He's got those sad puppy dog eyes, looking at Stede- and, he's got Stede speaking gently to him, arms wrapped around Ed as Stede is promising it's okay, they'll get this cleaned all up, then perhaps they'll just take the evening to rest, a good bed cuddle seems in original ♡

And, Ed gets exactly what he wanted,,,with just a couple extra steps lmaoo

Stede getting Ed to hold for him all throughout the whole day ♡

it's way different than what they usually do, Ed is used to getting desperate pretty quickly over the course of a few hours, but instead now he's feeling his bladder slowly fill all throughout the day.

and of course Stede is making sure he keeps hydrated, it's very important! but he also has to find a good balance if he wants Ed to be able to keep this up. he doesn't want to end this too fast, so he has to hold back the part of him that just wants to see Ed squirming and grabbing himself as soon as possible. he takes his time, because he knows it'll pay off.

it's a lot of fun for Stede, watching Ed slowly get more desperate in subtle ways. his movements get more stiff, he starts shifting around more, he's got his thighs pressed together in a way he ordinarily wouldn't instead of standing in a more relaxed way. but only Stede notices these things, or at the very least he's the only one who knows what they mean.

they opt to have dinner together in their quarters, because frankly Ed's at the point where he might genuinely lose control at any second, and they're not really looking for that to happen in front of the crew. and all Stede asks is for Ed to make it through dinner without wetting himself.

Ed does so well, but by the end of dinner he's shaking with desperation, he just barely manages to ask Stede if he's allowed to go now, to which Stede of course tells him "of course dear, go ahead, let me see you make a mess of yourself."

and that's all Ed needs to let go, and it's a totally different type of relief than what he's used to. letting go after getting desperate fast is good, but getting to let go after waiting the whole day and trying so hard to focus on anything but his full bladder is something else entirely.

Stede takes extra good care of him after that, since it was such a strenuous hold. he deserves to relax after being so good and holding it all day like Stede asked him to ♡

I love sweet, attentive, Boyfriend Of The Year Stede as much as the next guy, but we have to accept that he's very oblivious sometimes...

At first, Stede doesn't know all of the signs of Ed being desperate yet, even if they're pretty obvious. Ed's practically potty dancing by the time he finally gets to go! And then there's the euphemisms, Ed basically saying anything BUT a phrase that Stede would actually understand to mean he needs to pee!

But Stede just overhears when Ed is finally relieving himself and of course makes a comment.

"I hadn't realized you needed to go that badly! Why didn't you say something sooner?"

And Ed is just... Amused but baffled by this.

"I've been saying something for like an hour now, mate!"

Of course, we can have both. Ed could be trying hardest to be subtle about his desperation only for Stede to see through it one day, and the next Ed could be potty dancing because he WANTS Stede to notice, but he's completely distracted with something else!

And then, the next day, Ed is holding himself and potty dancing, all the incredibly obvious things but, Stede is distracted by the lovely moth he's found, so interested in the insects that he doesn't even realize Ed is potty dancing for Stede's attention xD

Ed and Stede’s mutual piss kink is canon(here at least). It’s even hotter for Ed when Stede takes the time to plan and arrange time when they’re alone and will be undisturbed to fully get into it. He buys Ed different water bottles and cups, constantly hands him glasses of water at home, has coffee delivered to Ed’s job with silent reminders to drink more before going home. He invests in plastic sheets and pads for the bed and furniture, suggests placing a potty in plain sight like in the living room or hallway and tells Ed it’s because he isn’t expected to hold, buys him different clothes or outfits to wear, asks Ed to tell him what’s happening-how he feels-how desperate he is so Ed had to verbalise it, asks to see both hands when Ed is holding himself.

A nice, large coffe of Ed's favourite type with a message attached that's " ♡- S" is delivered to Ed at his job- and Ed can't help but feel a warmth bloom over his face, of course his workers just think it as Stede having coffee brought to Ed.

But, Ed's been drinking quite a bit and,,,has not used the washroom since that morning when Stede smiled, telling him ever so sweetly that he's not to make any tinkles until he's back in Stede arms~

He has to send pictures to Stede to show he's finished his water and coffee, which gets him lots of praise and encouragement ♡ Which has Ed squirming,,,and not just from the praise

Stede picks Ed up that afternoon/evening and the moment Ed closes the door oooh he's whining, hands pressed against himself, grinding against his palms as Stede slowly slides into the driver seat

"Ah, ah, hands where I can see them, love," Stede says.

Ed moans, telling Stede how he'll,,,not make it if he doesn't hold himself. And Stede just smiles, leaning over, buckling Ed into his seat.

"Well then, I suppose you can hold yourself, if you think you'll be making puddles in the car but, please don't be silent, dear."

Bunny help I have been thinking for DAYS about Stede coaxing Ed to have accidents so often that it starts getting harder to hold for as long, when he feels those twinges he keeps going to Stede so he can get petted and doted on but eventually he starts having real surprise accidents when his bladder gets too full, and everyday the breaking point is a little less, pretty soon he struggles to hold for very long at all, he can’t stop letting little piddles go and his pants are damp all day- he doesn’t even have time to make it to Stede before it all comes out!
