Hello! This is a fic idea for a VSMP and SPN crossover, where I'm looking for someone to help me write it! Maybe multiple, like maybeeee 2 other people and myself. Here is a small intro snippet, and some rambling to try and get my idea across.
He had known life, known hatred, known rejection, known studies. Known many human things.
He had known trust, known betrayal, known cold water, bitter burky swamp air.
Pyro had known death, looking into the eyes of a vampire, blurry from river water and tears lost down stream.
Pyro had known life after death.
He had known flight, speed, strength, all such amazing feats he mistook for freedom.
He had known passion, glee, and bloodlust. All of which he mistook for love.
Pyro had been buried looking into the eyes of that same vampire, until dirt covered his face, and filled his lungs.
And now, staring into the sun, he knew nothing.
Not the year, not the strange machines, not the words they spoke, warbled and short.
He only felt thirst- a deep, soul catching thirst.
Not for blood, no, for knowledge.
This is a concept based off of a reaction vid I watched on YouTube, which is peak and you should watch it.
Here is the gacha reaction vid its based off of
It's a spn crossover, and so is this.
I imagine in some capacity, all the supernatural stuff is new to Pyro, as he didn't know about any of it(he didn't know vampires, so yeah) before he went to Oakhurst, so he will be studying modern tech as well as all the monsters and stuff.
If I write more, I would add a thing where he has a superiority complex over modern vampires, and probably all other monsters as well, because of how powerful VSMP vamps are compared to the other monsters from SPN.
I'm imagining pyro raiding some treasure from the crypts and selling it for money, finding an old abandoned cabin of some kind, and setting up a base. Maybe a camper van to travel to different places and investigate different things.
For learning about the modern world, he's smart, so he could easily figure out to ask help from a life counselor, and a speech therapist. Maybe he makes up some story about how his weirdo parents raised him to talk like he was from the past as some kind of messed up social experiment or somthing, idk, maybe he just stays silent and learns from how others talk, so he has some weird accent he can wiggle into the background story he makes for himself.
I imagine he kills some monsters and dissects them for science, along with studying new tech, and tries to combine the two somehow.
Basically, evil fucked up scientist that dosnet like people, avoids talking about himself, lives in a house(maybe Mc mansion) in the woods/mountains alone, has a basement that is off limits to people, kills monsters, invents random gadgets, ect.
BUT I like to think he is manipulatively kind to travelers, inviting them into his house, asking for stories, experiences, whether normal or spooky, just for a better grasp on the modern world in exchange letting them stay the night (especially if they're hunters, he what's to know allllllll about evreything super natural) and he will feed them a good meal, too. ("Have you ever met a young man with blue hair? No? What about white?")
He gets talked about in hunter society, rumors, recommendations, good and bad. A few people suspect he's a monster of some kind, but there's no evidence. (He doesn't take in enough blood to have any weaknesses to anything)
I also imagine he keeps animals, sheep probably. Maybe cows or chickens for leather or eggs.
He would have a massive library with all his accounting of Oakhurst, his old studies, and what he can remember about each vampire and villager. All these books would be hidden, but in the visible library he would have books on history, mythology, monsters, ect. Typical hunter things, but then allso books about tech, older and modern, as well as biology, chemistry, and other core science subjects.
One of the things he becomes famous for is his library: if you need to know anything, he's your guy. But he doesn't give for free- he needs any and all info you have. He will only give you access to his libraries if you tell him evreything you know that he dosent yet. And trust me, he can tell when you're holding something back.
I also have designs for his different stages!
1: Thirst. Needs to drink blood to live, carefully balancing how much keeps his powers under wraps. Feasts on his animals once a month, till his eyes start to have a pink tint, then stops. It's not ideal, but he can live off of it, and that's all he needs for his current life style.
2: Iron. It weakens him, but he can push through and ignore it.
3: Transformation. He can turn into a bat, but rarely does. Why would he?
4: Night Vision. He can see in the dark
5: Vessel. His body does not age, his heart does not beat.
6: Enthrall. Feeding a human his blood acts as a sort of brainwashing, making them follow his commands.
7: Infection: if a human dies with his venom in their blood, they are turned into a vampire.
8: Sharp Senses. He has better vision and hearing, able to hear the hearts of any living animal in his vicinity.
9: Forever. He cannot kill himself, no matter if he wishes to or not. He can only be killed by a wooden stake wielded by another person, or fire if there is enough to melt him into nothing.
10: Fatherless. Holy water causes his powers to be disabled, but nothing noticeable when in stage one.
11: Regulation. Vampires feel emotions more strongly than humans. This has lead to many embarrassing moments and misunderstandings of himself. He is better at acting normal now, but it is hard to stay composed in certain circumstances.
12: Banished. He cannot enter houses without permission. Easy to play off as politeness.
Basically a normal human. Only minor symptom:
1: Cold. Easily passable as running naturally, cold, or having poor circulation. Pyro will wear gloves with his other fancy clothes to avoid the suspicion of hunters.
2: Nausea. Eating food is possible, but it's hard to keep down. Pyro had gotten better at it over the years, but will often throw it back up later. He's been able to hold food down for a few days at most, before it insisted on coming back up. Not the most pleasant days, but nessary. If caught throwing up, his plan is to simply say he has a medical eating disorder, and that it's one of the reasons he makes all his food himself, giving more reason to his animals and his small garden.
3: Physicality. He can take more damage than humans, and is marginally stronger and faster. This doesn't need to be covered up, and if it somehow comes up in conversation, he can play it off as luck, or being built sturdy.
1: Colder. His fingers, toes, nose, and ears start to appear slightly gray. His breath is noticeably cool. Same excuses as last time still work.
2: Sickness. He cannot stomach normal food. A bite is enough to spark disgust and stomach cramps, his body refusing to swallow.
3: Strength. He can bend silverware in his hands on accident, but with training he has more control. Needs to be careful of everything he touches.
3.5: The strength allso gives him the ability to lunge far, and quickly. He avoids using this around people, and if he needs to uses it to simply escape.
4: Metal burns his skin, he cannot touch it with his skin. The gloves hide this well, however, he can feel it tingling his palm. Discomfort that is easily ignored, but not appreciated.
5: Mutation. He grows claws, and has a difficult time holding most weapons, they are too thick to trim, and too durable to file. The perfect weapon for the perfect killing machine.
6: Ungodly. Sunlight makes him slower, weaker, and audibly sizzle.
Final stage, stage three:
If he gets to this point, he doesn't bother hiding it.
1: Skin discoloration. His fingers, toes, ears, ect all become blue, and his skin becomes so grey it almost has a blue sheen to it. Looking at his fingers brings him great discomfort, reminding him of when he was murdered and drowned in that river, only to wake up and have water fill his lungs once more.
2: Thirst and hunger is replaced with bloodlust.
3: Vanish. He can blend into his surroundings, vanishing from sight and turning invisible.
3.5: he can allso immediately travel to his house, as he made a mock-beacon there, based off of the ones around Oakhurst.
OKAY. I have read the wiki for these, and there are Elden vampire rules (Elden vampires are what I'm calling VSMP vamps) that the Oakhurst vampires just didn't care about- I imagine he learned of them and took them to heart at some point, considering Oakhurst fell to ruin, and these others didn't, he follows these rules best he can.
A coven divided cannot stand.
2. Authority is taken, not earned.
3. Tell the truth as much as possible. People misjudge the knife they see.
4. Vampires are not real. Anyone claiming otherwise should be mocked, 5. eliminated, but never turned.
6. Unpredictable risks must be eliminated physically or socially.
7. Find supporters with rational voices in as many groups as possible.
8. Only turn those you can stand. Don't turn out of pity or carelessness or fear.
9. Enthrall the powerful or the useful, but do not turn them.
Anyone can be a threat. Plan accordingly.
10. Your fledglings are your responsibility, they share your successes and your shame.
All these rules have proven to be useful, and lack of many of them can be pinned as what led to Oakhurst's downfall.
He discovered the way to turn a vampire back into a human, and wishes to return to one himself. But in order to do that, he needs to find Scott, and kill him first. After tirelessly searching for years, he has settled on asking all he meets and houses about him, and waiting. He is sure Scott is not dead: he can feel it in his blood.
Jack VonPyrosythe is a name that sticks out, so he decided to make up a less conspicuous last name: Smith.
If anyone would like to help me write this, so we keep each other on track and actually get it done, I would love to fully commit to doing this! Dm me if you're interested <3
