I’ve been getting a lot of these lately, and I guess I just want you all to know what I think when I read them.

And you’re still just going, “GIVE ME A STICK. I’M NOT DYING OUT HERE.” “A cry for help” makes it sound like I’m supposed to take pity on you, but you don’t need my pity. This isn’t pathetic. This is the will to survive. This is how humans lived long enough to become the dominant species.

With NO hope, running on NOTHING, you’re ready to cut through a hundred miles of hostile jungle with nothing but a stick, if that’s what it takes to get to safety.

All I’m doing is handing out sticks.

You’re the one staying alive.

sketches and notes for the casino moon (tentatively named The Kaleidoscopy) that my tsons warband (tentatively named Guardians of Fortune) runs security in. the idea of basically a hive-city sized casino complex staffed by tzeentchian mutants and cultists is incredibly funny to me and i am going to stew in it for a while so i can make more coherent thoughts about it at later time.

just know that the two sorcerers in the third pic love fucking with people and will trap their opponents in psychic game shows. for no reason other than its funny.

a lot of funny admech in this sketch dump. im really enamored with the idea of a mechanical centipede woman, will probably do something with that in the future; so far not a solidified character.

was also toying with the idea of a very tired ship doctor, and a very earnest (naive???) pteraxi.

and now the eldar dump............

first up we have what is probably the pair im the most nervous about because they're uhhhh half-eldar twins? i dont really care if that's possible in canon because im less interested in the biological feasibility of it and more about how that effects their lives. one was raised by the imperium, and the other was raised by corsairs (see their dad Runithil in the second pic). im also hesitant to talk about them bc as much as i like thinking about them i also have yet to pin down their names lmao (the guy keeps flipping between Caelus and Felix, and the girl is.... well im tempted to name her after my dead name bc it feels very appropriate for an elf.)

second row were some designs i was thinking about and then, being predictable, i focused on the scourge one lmao. going with the name Mellieth Bloodhawk, very unique. my original thought was that they were a scourge that participated in the arena? but looking into the role scourges are supposed to have in drukhari society that doesnt seeeem to be very possible? i know that i want them to be in the process of trying to break themselves out of their role (and from comorragh's political bullshit in general), maybe some kind of wake-up call happens and they realize that they dont want to keep living like this.
