💙 We know Arthur has a teddy bear that is CANON INFORMATION so I like the idea that he carries it around everywhere once he’s certain the other Hex members won’t make fun of him
💙 5-12 for age range, usually towards the older end but when he’s really stressed he’s smaller
💙 Amir teaches him to play some video games and they have game nights
💙 Arthur was convinced he’s a bad artist but Aoi convinced him to try chalk drawings and he surprisingly really enjoys it (big sister Aoi my beloved)
💙 Eleanor has a stuffed bunny that she kept to help Arthur be more comfortable with having his teddy
💙 Arthur prefers to regress alone since he’s still very insecure about it, but he’s most comfortable with Amir because he’s the most childlike already and he makes Arthur feel like he’s allowed to enjoy these things

Ticket Taker:
Completely discovered it by accident. Found her pacifier (one for a baby not a regressor) and panicked thinking she was pregnant. He left it on her pillow with a note that said "talk to me when you can, I love you."
He makes sure to help her regress on Saturdays specifically so they can do their movie nights again. She loves it, he missed it.
However once he actually understood... shopping spree. He went out and bought her stuffies, bought her a sippy cup, SOMEHOW found a proper pacifier for her in a store.
If his kiddo is going through it and needs this, he'll do it and do it RIGHT!
He's not the best at it but he helps style her hair and brushes it out for her when she asks. Sweet girl is constantly falling asleep in her dad's lap when he does.
He LOVES taking her to the park when no one is around, he lets her run, spin, swing and climb on everything. He even managed to keep up and play a few games of tag with her!
Timeouts? Nope, addition. Flashcards she has to practice or counting. He'll do it with her but he knows that's more effective on her little kiddo brain. But then immediately feels bad and gives her candy for everything she answers right.
He's a softie, and he can't help it! He has his baby girl back and he just adores her so so very much he'll do anything she asks! Paint his nails? "Of course Coco" make-up? "Just don't stab my eye okay sweetie?"
He'll read her bedtime stories when she's little (and when she isn't) and go she's not asleep after 3 of them? Well...one more won't hurt will it? Okay- 5 books in, its bedtime. But those sweet little eyes! "One more."
Only trusts Jester to babysit. Not Doctor...never again.

Pierrot:
He does!
Jester bought him a red one with a bell on it and everytime it makes noise he starts giggling and shaking his head around a bunch
Really only uses it when he sleeps or when a cg needs him to be distracted for a bit
Harlequin:
Nope, Ticket Taker and Jester tried a few times since he likes to bite when frustrated but he just kept popping them
He DOES have a whole shelf worth of teething rings and other chewable items
Pierrot has to keep his hidden if Harley gets a bit jealous while tiny, he'll pop Pierrots too
Jester:
Look he already struggles to let himself be tiny so when he does he crashes hard, he's either sitting in silence completely overwhelmed and not knowing what to do or is screaming his head off so it's pretty much a necessity.
Doctor and Ticket Taker are the ONLY ones capable of getting him to take one, usually it's a combined effort getting Jes to take it but once he does it's not coming out at all.
At one point (while big) Doctor had to check on his teeth because they were starting to get a bit concerning. He's fine now though, they got him a better fitting one.

No, it's not happening.
He's definitely got an older headspace so it's not really in his interest.
TWICE a year he may quietly tug on Jesters sleeve and ask for one to chew on, but then hides in the corner as to hide away from the purple monster, he's not very happy when he needs one.
Also proceeds to avoid Jester for about a week after the instance
Doctor
It's logical, if he can reason for wanting one he'll find the one he's hidden in a drawer, if he can get to it. Usually he isn't allowed in his tent due to the possibility of injuries.
Probably an older headspace, 5-8, so not very likely for him but no one minds if he asks and he's somewhat open about it when he does use one.
No cares given, the bird mask mostly hides it so he'll even wander around the circus with it after hours
Definitely sleeps with it though on nights where he's overwhelmed and tired
I know it's probably OOC but you gotta think, for them being little likely came from trauma and just wanting to cope and also I'm probably the first to do this with them so 🤷
Jester is probably the most OOC but again, oh well. My AU for them.
Day 03; Carnival/Sun-Hats | Feat. P/N and The Doctor
Walking around the carnival grounds of 'the freak circus', P/N would be seen fidgeting with her hands as she wandered.. She was forcing her regression to stay away due to her anxiety and stress, especially with what had been going on earlier; it didn't help.. She'd accidentally bump into someone, as she backed up immediately. ' Shit I'm so sorry-! ' She'd pause upon seeing who it was, It was the doctor; he had been the medic of the freak circus of horrors.. P/N went quiet, as the doctor looked at her curiously. ' Hm, It's okay sweetie; I do believe you didn't mean to do that, yes? ' He'd respond, P/N eased up a bit.. Right, Doctor wasn't gonna hurt her like some of the others would. Taking a deep breath, she couldn't help but feel her cheeks flush a bit out of embarrassment at the pet name.. Doctor could immediately pick up on the fact she was embarrassed; but he also noticed she was acting a bit more shy than usual.. ' Little Bird, are you perhaps resisting against your regression again? ' P/N flinched, immediately trying to shush him. ' Nononono-! D- Don't say that-! I- I'm fine-! ' P/N attempted to lie, knowing the doctor wouldn't be convinced.. With a soft sigh, he'd suddenly pick her up. ' Now Now, I do believe you shouldn't be fighting against regression; it causes harmful effects such as Stress, Emotional Outbursts and meltdowns. ' He'd say, holding P/N like she was fragile. P/N's face flushed more out of embarrassment again, she'd glance away. ' B.. But- ' She'd suddenly have her mouth shut by Doctor grabbing her pacifier from his pocket and putting it in, P/N let out a grumble.. ' There's my little bird, let us go along; we have much to study about. ' Doctor says, beginning to walk to his tent.
🤎 How to include your fictional caregiver in your daily life (without AI!) 🤎
- Create an OC for your fictional caregiver's series/universe. Give them lore!
- Create moodboards of your fictional caregiver and what you'd like to do together.
- Plan a day or trip you'd like to go on with them!
- What are your character's best values? Try and use them as inspiration to make them proud! Example: if your caregiver is very disciplined, think of how pleased they'd be to see you take care of yourself!
- If there are meals they like, try cooking them for yourself. Who knows, they might even introduce you to your new favourite dish.
- Create a scrapbook for them, including your artwork, favourite quotes of theirs, etc.
- Use the Finch app and name your bird after your character, so you get notifications from them throughout the day, reminding you to take care of yourself.
- Make a playlist of songs that remind you of them, or would remind them of you.
- Find a colour, article of clothing or accessory that reminds you of them and 'borrow it' on days where you need extra support.
- Buy a small plush of them, or one that reminds you of them. Bring them out in your bag or pocket, dress them up, take photos of them... the possibilities are endless!
- Commission artwork, fanfics or comfort character letters.
- Have them be your inner monologue when you need a little extra support. Having a bad day? What would your caregiver tell you to cheer you up?
- Find an ask account of your character here on Tumblr and say hello (just make sure you know their boundaries!)

Those nasty feelings swirled in your chest and head, making you want to sob and vomit at the same time.
You sat alone in your apartment, laying in your bed and hugging the closest comforting thing you can find.
The feelings that had been weighing you down was the feeling of being unlovable.
You’re difficult, needy, and such a bother to everyone around you. Or at least, that’s what you thought.
The balcony door slid open, and in all his purple-clad glory, stood Jester. He walked in, closing the door behind him to make sure no bugs got in. “Little one, I brought you a gift—oh.” He stood there, taking in your sobbing form. His gaze softened and he knelt beside the bed.
“My, my…what made my baby so upset?” Jester crooned, stroking your head.
Hot tears slipped down your face as you tried to tell him what was wrong, but it came out as incoherent sobbing.
“Oh, poor dear.” Jester wiped your tears with his thumb. “May I hold you?”
You hesitated for a moment before nodding, and then you felt your body being lifted with utmost gentleness—almost like being lifted into a haven of nothing but safety and comfort.
He softly pushed your head into his neck, shushing you and pacing around, rocking you ever so slightly. “Hush now, little one…tell Jester what made you cry…” Jester cooed.
You managed to choke out the words “I’m bad”, before the tears took over again. He knew exactly what was wrong.
Jester sat down and cradled you in his lap, playing with your hair. “Oh, little one, that’s just not true. The only bad thing about you is those nasty thoughts that plague your sweet little head. Other than that, you’re perfection.” He kissed your forehead.
“You’re such a good little dear.” He began to pepper your sweet face with kisses. “You’re so kind, so charming, and oh so adorable~”
You whined and pressed your face harder into his neck. You didn’t believe it.
Jester sighed, “Well, you don’t have to believe me…but it’d be beneficial if you did.” He put you back in your bed and tucked you in, giving you whatever comfort item you needed.
“You are so loved, my dear…” he said softly, “Papa will make sure you see it too…”
Agere Oneshot || Fandom; the Freak Circus, Features P/N and Pierrot
It was a rainy night; little droplets pattered against Pierrot's tent, as P/N laid in his bed. Letting out small whimpers and sobs as she trembled, clearly having some nightmare.. ' n- no! Go 'way!- ' She'd sob, tears dripped down her cheeks; it wasn't until Pierrot appeared from the shadows, He'd sit down. Picking up P/N very gently as his bells made a slight 'jingle', P/N struggled to open her eyes as she thrashed and squirmed in his arms, it wasn't until Pierrot began humming 'rises the moon'.. P/N slowly calmed down, opening her eyes to look up at Pierrot, she'd whimper softly. Pierrot gently shushed her, rocking himself back and forth to soothe her anxiety.. Pierrot knew she was still recovering from Peters harmful actions, she needed time and he would help her with that.. Eventually P/N fell back asleep, as Pierrot laid down with her. Letting her cling to him as much as she wanted..

🐛 Pilby regresses to around 3-5, and is almost always regressed
🎩 Mach has traversed millions of different planets and timelines, fought with gods, and has created and destroyed many universes. It goes without saying that caring for what is essentially a child has been low on her priority list, so she isn’t that great at it
🐛 Mach always just assumed Pilby was childish, and that was the end of it. Though, when they tell her about their regression, she gathers all the research she can about agere
🎩 As mentioned before, Mach starts out terribly at caregiving, and quickly seeks Dr. Retro for help
🐛 “I was going to teach them how to fight with a mace later…” “Mach, they’re a toddler.” “You’re right, they’re old enough for the battle axe.”
🎩 With some guidance, Mach eventually gets the hang of caregiving. Though, she still doubts herself constantly
🐛 Mach tries even harder to find a way to get Pilby to their mother. It breaks her heart to see how much they struggle because of the separation
🎩 When Pilby’s regressed extra young, Mach will let them sit on her lap while she does work. Or if she’s out running (non dangerous) errands, she’ll carry Pilby on her hip with her
🐛 Mach will tell Pilby bedtime stories about the adventures she’s been on before they met. Though, she sometimes forgets to filter out the more violent details, and gives poor lil Pilby a scare. (She always comforts them afterwards though)
🎩 When they’re in a safe place and deep in their headspace, Pilby will just cry. Not that loudly either, just soft little sobs as they’re curled up with a blanket. When Mach notices, she’ll rush over to shoosh and rock them

Lil Harlequin who regresses, but still feels like he has to keep up his s3xual persona.
If he gets caught regressing, or someone finds his little gear, his immediate response is to insist it's a f3tish.
Jester doesn't buy it, but maybe the others do. It eats him up inside to know that if he ever regressed, it wod be viewed in a s3xual context. But that's who he is... that's his thing....
It takes Doctor doing a mental evaluation for him to completely drop and reveal everything. Harle makes Doc promise not to tell the others, for his reputation! But at least now, Harle has someone to go to.

As a CG, I think Doctor would be a bit clumsy. He's only taken care of plants, and the occasional Legitimately Sourced Unpaid Intern. But someone who's essentially a child? New territory. He's huge and scary, no child would want to be around him.
But he has the advantage with Harlequin, being close with him. He starts out nervous, but ends up learning what his dear friend needs (he even takes notes in his perscription pad!)
He has toooootally discreetly asked Jester to get him textbooks on regression. Jester assumes it's for Harle, but doesn't say anything
Has definitely had Harlequin be his lab assistant while regressed. He learned very quickly that regressors should not be holding scalpels!
