varka thoughts ... ♪

varka who would tear his uniforms a lot during puberty and was always growing out of his shoes,, now he's 6'5 and needs to get most of his clothing tailored! mondstadt isn't home to many tall people...

his first real bath after nod krai made him well up with tears. varka had gone years without a proper, long soak. he'd resorted to buying bars of soap and going through them within a week, using cold river water to clean himself. as the steam rose around his face in the heart of mondstadt, he couldn't help but cry…

for months after carrying boreas' soul, varka found himself growling in response during conversation. whether he was irritated or simply had no response, that low rumble always found its way out of his throat...

being out in the wilderness for upwards of six years is bound to have adverse affects, and varka is not immune. he would journal constantly, and would repeatedly draw his knights over and over. he'd already forgotten their voices, he couldn't bare to forget their faces as well... even if his drawing skills aren't the best.

varka, who is obsessed with hugs. he finds it to be the most precious and important gesture of all, above kissing and sexual activity. a hug is the act of touching hearts with another person. he hugs his knights constantly after returning. he'll scoop razor and bennett into his arms without warning, he'll barge into angel's share on the verge of tears to see diluc. even jean can't escape his affection, being swung in a princess carry like an older brother would his baby sister.
