But… seriously. His eyebrows are either raised or nonexistent, and that’s very funny to me for some reason. In the anime, he doesn’t even have them at all, but they seem to pop up as they please in the manga.

i’ve always thought with the manga that L is drawn without eyebrows to portray just his usual uninterested/neutral demeanor and then he’s drawn WITH the eyebrows to portray him trying to show interest and more emotion. so stoic vs stoic but slight intrigued(ofc it varies)?
