“Pixar is Trying to Forget Cars 2″

i keep seeing this claim used as one of many forms of criticism aimed at cars 2, and while i absolutely understand expressing distaste for a movie you do not like, the notion of this statement is blatantly wrong and incorrect, and i want to talk about it. my aim here is to literally show reasons as to why this is false, and maybe explain how what i have to show backs up the fact that pixar is acknowledging cars 2, rather than trying to erase it. also this was going to be a part of my previous essay, “Cars 2 Cool and Good?” but i feel like it’s better to keep it as its own post.
