The Dallas Wings have no teamwork at all. Everyone plays for themselves! I like Azzi so much, but watching her give everything on defense, make great passes, and barely get the ball back is depressing. This coach has no idea what he's doing. He'd rather prioritize the veterans instead of investing in the present and the future of the franchise, which are Paige and Azzi.

i find it odd and actually quite annoying when some people are adamant about forcing the masc title onto azzi. even in a joking manner it seems…weird. she’s never called herself that and never gave that impression to have wanted to be placed under that title. infact she presents very feminine in almost every aspect of her life. i think it also speaks to how easy it is for people to masculinize black women especially those that aren’t hyperfeminine, in a way that people don’t do for white women. and it may just be the culture of women’s basketball to lean towards masculinizing all women (which is a bigger issue in itself) or people not being able to view the women in queer relationships as feminine (another bigger issue) but i still think it is weird how often it happens to feminine black women. and to make matters worse 9 times out of 10 it’s white women who are making the posts which furthers my point that these types of posts/jokes furthers the bigger issue of black women constantly having their femininity robbed (or having to go above and beyond to “prove” their femininity)

some examples include:

- a white player (cam, maddie, marina, sab, etc.) were to wear a comfy tunnel fit their femininity wouldn’t be in question, but if azzi wears a comfy fit i suddenly see a bunch of masc steered posts

- a white player with their hair in braids is still feminine but when a black player does it (im thinking back to azzi’s braids the day before the draft) the masc posts begin

- a white player with an athletic build is still feminine but a black player with an athletic build must be masculine

and side note: i feel the same way towards people begging and forcing paige to be fem or “go back to her fem tendencies” it’s so odd

It's crazy how much hate Azzi gets. There are obsessed Paige fans who seem to think they're going to marry her one day, fans of Clark and Olivia, and even ESPN and other "serious" sports pages that fuel this kind of negativity. Dallas posts something, and the first comments are already calling Azzi trash. #I can't imagine what it must feel like for her to read those things. My God... May God protect her from all this hate. She deserves nothing but love!!

People keep losing their minds because Paige likes photos of pretty much every woman. But they have their own relationship dynamic, and that's between them.

Speaking from my own experience, my ex was the same way. I don't even think it's something that needs to be discussed publicly because it's a very personal matter. It comes down to having the maturity to recognize whether something affects your partner or not.

Personally, I don't care because I also like whoever's photos I want. But there's a very fine line: what really matters is the intention behind the like.

At the end of the day, it's their relationship, not yours. Some of you talk as if Azzi were naïve or incapable of seeing what's happening in her own relationship. We're talking about a young, intelligent woman with a master's degree. Do you honestly think she would stay in a relationship if she were being cheated on? They're the ones living that relationship, not the people watching from the outside.

Another thing that bothers me is how many of you constantly undermine Azzi, as if she wouldn't be a huge loss to anyone. Whether you like it or not, she's also a basketball star. This constant desire to see her publicly humiliated is honestly sad. Some people act as if she's somehow "less than" in this relationship, when in reality she's accomplished, successful, and deserves the same respect as anyone else.

The United States has financed wars from the very beginning, resulting in the deaths of thousands of innocent people. Yet you're here talking about "blood money." The hypocrisy is unbelievable.
