this might sound stupid but i was wondering if i could ask for some of your Butch! Robin and Femme! Nancy headcanons, but maybe bar or club style headcanons? Like maybe what their go to drink order’s are. Or maybe what their favorite thing’s to wear to those places are. Or maybe what their favorite music is to dance to and stuff like that?

not stupid at all!! so sorry it has taken me so long to answer this.

i think nancy is a classy girl and she really likes a martini, especially a flavored one, or a glass of wine. robin on the other hand i think like fruity drinks where she can’t taste the alcohol. however, when she makes more butch friends i think she would try getting into beer because every butch i know fucking loves beer (bleh!). i don’t think she will get into it though because it tastes bad <3

i think both of them would find it a little difficult to let loose in a club setting (too loud and crowded an unpredictable), but they would definitely love dressing up and going on dates to the lesbian bar. i like the idea of nancy dressing in her little power femme pantsuits at work and getting to dress more feminine when she’s with robin. in the 90s im picturing a lot of those long slip dresses that are comfy but super cute. i picture robin’s style evolving out of her s4 outfits, with some more wacky suits. would definitely love to see her in some wife pleasers as we get into the 90s (and nancy would too).

femme nancy confirmed on a random sunday because when natalia was doing her wig test she said “it’s flowy and feminine”!!!!

one of the things i really love about nancy’s character is how strong and brave and fierce she is while also being very feminine. in s1 her entire arc is about how she doesn’t want the white picket fence and to have her mother’s life, but i think it’s nice that she still loves dresses and pink and like has a ballerina jewelry box. me when freeing myself from the expectations of heteronormativity allows me to embrace femininity… long live femme lesbianism!!!

also thank god for her s5 wig, it’s soooo much better than the s4 hair.
