summer in hyrule
The (European) sun is a deadly laser, stay safe everyone
☝️🤓 it’s because the further you move toward the earth’s poles, the lower the angle of the sun is at the hottest parts of the day, meaning the radiation hits your whole body, causing it to feel 10-20 degrees warmer than the thermometer reading will tell you. People from tropical climes, aka close to the equator, are used to the sun’s radiation hitting a much smaller target- their head and shoulders.
Also the further you move toward the poles the more pronounced the difference between the length of day and night is. Worst part of a far-north (or south) heatwave is it doesn’t get dark long enough for meaningful cooling.
It’s not the heat. It very literally is the sun.
He got him but at what cost~
Also check out the past April Fools comics below.
And He lived~
Obey Me was doing a western themed collab of sorts.

Do u think that mc has to go to the vet in the Devildom to get proper medical care. Like not even sheep mc, just human mc. Since Devildom doctors will only be trained with the bodies of demons but vets are trained with all types of creatures in mind.
I get surgery and wake up with a cone on my head.

Knock it off
Huh, must've been the wind.
I think it’s interesting that in the fallout universe a lot of jobs that previously required university degrees like doctors, scientists, archivists, etc. have mostly become jobs that you learn through basically an apprenticeship. I think that’s a realistic way of explaining how these sorts of professions are still going after the apocalypse.
What’s not realistic is all of these scientists that are just general scientists and don’t seem to have any kind of specialization.
What is Dr. Li even a doctor of? Biology? Engineering? Medicine? Advanced robotics? Nuclear systems? Yes, apparently.
Things Dr. Li has done:
Work on building a large scale water purifier
Deliver a baby
Treat a heart condition
Make a synthetic child?
Work on the nuclear reactor for a giant robot
Create a system for growing food inside of an aircraft carrier?
Who taught her to do all of this, exactly?
When I was a teenager I had a phase where I called soccer football because the rest of the world called it that but eventually my dad told me “You know, there’s a point where acting smart doesn’t make you smart and just makes you annoying. Refusing to use the word that everyone else around you uses doesn’t make you smarter than them.”
So anyways I call it soccer now.
Americans are socially Nerotic.
The unisex perfume by Cécile Zarokian for Laboratorio Olfattivo?
Sincere question, why do Americans call football soccer and Rugby football?
I just don’t get it.
Football or Soccer is kicked by your feet so foot ball- straight forward and simple.
But Rugby (or American Football) you are only kicking the ball at one very specific point in the game and the rest of the time you are running with the ball in hand.- ???
I know you may not have the answer but I’m asking in case someone knows.
Rugby is rugby. We still call that rugby.
American football is called that because it was historically in a wider class of sports called “football” which includes rugby and association football/soccer. I think they still use that sort of broad term in Australia, actually.
Anyways, there was a time where association football in some universities in the UK was shortened to soc or something like that which led to some people calling it soccer.
Over time as dialects shifted apart, the US, Canada, Australia, and South Africa leaned more towards calling it Soccer whereas the UK leaned more towards calling it football. From what I understand in Ireland some people use the terms interchangeably.
And gridiron football in the US eventually became the thing called football there or now commonly called American football elsewhere.
a friend sent this 8-10 year old video of my younger brother in high school and it feels like a long lost legendary vine. the music. the sequence of facial expressions. the way he presents Some Bullshit. the regret. the tiny jar jar binks. this is art to me
