Part 1 | Part 13 / Part 14 / Final Part
Last proper part of this AU!
Ok so this AU was supposed to go all the way through the movie, but I had some issues with my laptop and this part ended up rotting away on my usb plus I kinda moved on from the fandom. I had a few more animatics planned, but I'll just post the outline of them once I get the motivation.
Sorry for leaving this hanging like this.
WHA self insert as characters
(you can see the SIkuna influences with this one)
(spoilers for chapter 88 of the manga)
I love your au so much!!!! Just read the final chapter, it’s one of the best SIkuna fics I’ve read 💖 the art is amazing too, I can’t wait to see more of your ideas 😁
Thank you so much ✨✨✨
I'm really glad to see so many people enjoying the AU. I really hope to be able to put out more soon, but college is being a bitch right now. Hopefully I can get some more art done in the meantime!

Part 1 | Part 18 / Final Part
I can't actually believe this is the last part. It's honestly been really fun writing this and I'm happy that people enjoyed this story as much as I did.
This is the end (for now) and I hope you enjoy!
Spring 2019
The dirt path crunched beneath our feet as we made our way through the trees. Here and there vague rectangular formations were scattered, marking the place where the houses of a bustling village once stood. Cherry petals were slowly drifting with the slight breeze and covered the land in a carpet of pink wherever they landed.
We climbed up a slope that left the crammed ruins behind and soon enough we found ourselves in a clearing that seemed domed by cherry trees.
"Is this it?" Asked Gojo, stepping into the open space that was once the courtyard of the Sugawara compound.
I simply hum, urging Yuji to go kneel next to the rock at the center of the clearing. With a few expert Cleaves I clear out some of the roots from the tree reigning atop the stone. Sure enough the carving of a nine tailed fox and ancient words was reveled.
"Yeah, this is the place..." I mumble almost imperceptibly, though it didn't seem to matter since Gojo heard it loud and clear.
"I wonder what it says," Megumi stated, looking curiously at the carving.
"Thank you... And sorry," I tell him, not turning away from the rock.
"I always forget you're ancient as shit!" Nobara almost shouts in my ear and I hit her thigh playfully.
"Make up your mind, people, am I old or barely older than you?" I growl, finally turning away from the inscription.
"Why can't it be both?" Gojo asks from behind, trying to take a look at what we were gawking.
"You're gonna need the blindfold off for this one!" I chuckle and pull him down.
As soon as he took it off he seemed surprised by the colors around us, than broke into a wide grin
"Hey hey, that's the Gojo crest!" He laughed and bumped my shoulder "We're definitely in the right place!"
"What do you mean the 'Gojo crest'?"
"Kay, so the Gojos have these old ass clay tablets from a thousand years ago and one of 'em depicts a six eyed white fox!" He explains and I instantly know what he's referring to "My ancestors figured that was definitely a representation of the Six Eyes user at the time, so they started using it as a symbol of power or whatever. There's another tablet too, with two bears on it, though no one's figure what that one means!"
"It's Asahi and Naomi," I say with a delighted smile at his confused expression.
"Oh? And who's that?" He asks with a grin, then frowns slightly "And how are you so sure? You've never seen the tablets before!"
"Talk about signing your work!" I sigh in mock offence "I'm the one who made them, you moron! Plus, the two I mentioned are Tsumiki's and Megumi's past lives!"
The three laugh good-heartedly at my antics and even Yuji joins them from the back of my mind. I decide to let Yoru out as they calmed down and she immediately beelined for the spot where the porch once stood.
"C'mon then, ya said you wanted to look for something!" I push up, pulling the blue eyed man along "I want to check out something for myself as well!"
We split up, Gojo and Megumi making their way somewhere to the back of the old compound and I lead Nobara towards the place my room used to be.
"Remind me again, why isn't Junpei with us?"
"He stayed behind to train with Tsumiki!" Nobara scoffed "Think he might have a crush or something!"
"Hmm, remind me to give him the shovel talk when we get back!" I tell her and by her grin I think she'd be more than happy to oblige.
'Sukuna, don't threaten Junpei!' yuji pleaded in faux concern 'I thought you liked him!'
'Not when he's trying to court my niece, I don't!'
Digging through the dirt covering the old ruins my fingers finally hit something firm and smooth. I do my best to wiggle my hand around it, pulling it out in one swift movement.
"What the hell is that?" Nobara asks with a skeptical look.
"Behold! My old sketchbook!" I raise the leather bound notebook and hand it over after brushing the chunks of dirt off it.
"How the fuck is this in such a good condition after a literal millennia?!" She gawks, rapidly flipping through the pages "Scratch that, how is this even intact?!"
"Protection seal!" I answer, sheepishly pointing at the sigil drawn at the back of the notebook.
"Huh!" She mutter's, failing to hide she's impressed, then quickly switches it up at my grin "Anyway, why is there English in here?!"
"Uh," Damn me and my inability to think ahead "No particular reason!"
She just raises her eyebrow at me and sighs.
"Fine, keep your secrets, King of Curses!"
I roll my eyes and spread out my senses, trying to figure out where the boys went.
I'm taken aback when instead of just four human souls I'm greeted by dozens of them. They were swirling around, weaving through the branches of the trees, never truly approaching past a certain distance.
"Let's go find the rat and Megs," I mutter, dragging the girl along.
"Wait, hold up!" Nobara protested, but I ignore it in favor of tracking the boys down into an underground part of the compound I never even knew about.
The souls stopped following us as we crossed the threshold and it was quick work to find Gojo and Megumi among the scroll filled rafters.
"Whaaa~ You two are done al-" He cut himself off seeing my unnerved expression "Something wrong?"
"Can't Six Eyes sense all the souls out there?" I ask, partially distraught at the idea.
"Ah, I mean, not the souls themselves, but I can feel the faint cursed signature of dozens all around the grove!"
"And why didn't you say anything!" I growl, shaking him a bit for good measure.
"I sensed no malicious intent and I figured with the both of us here we'd be fine anyway!" He answers in his typically cheerful tone.
"I hate you."
"Nah you don't!"
"Well then, what's this place? I've never been here before," I push him away, looking at the scrolls he da spread out.
"This is the Sugawara archive!" He says with a wave of his hand "A room protected by all the possible seals out there! The Gojos have one too, so I figured our ancestors must've had one as well!"
I hum, trailing my eyes over the contents of the sheets and I can help letting out an amused scoff.
"And you're interested in the funds allocated for the kitchens?"
"That's what those are? Ugh!" Megumi scowls rolling the scrolls back up "We just lost half an hour trying to decipher that!"
"What are you even looking for?" Nobara asked.
"Historical accountings of things that happened in the clan," Gojo sighed rubbing his eyes "I know some of the old japanese, but not enough to figure out what's what!"
I huff and start looking at the labels until I find something.
"From what period do you need them?" I ask, eyeing the dates careful.
"The most recent ones. The last five years or so."
I do my best to pull out some of the more relevant scrolls and lay them out for Gojo and the two teens. I pause when I lay my eyes on Asahi's neat writing.
'What's wrong?' Yuji asks, coming to the front.
'I'm fine,' I tell him and I can tell he's utterly unconvinced 'No, truly, I'm fine!'
I trail my fingers over the text and I realize this is Keiji's account of one of our sparing sessions. Asahi must've transcribed it for him and added some of his own comentary on the side.
"Found something interesting?" Gojo lays his chin on my shoulder.
"Yeah, this describes the first time I showed Stars' Garden to you... Or, well, to Keiji I suppose."
"Hmm, I've seen your domain before, but only from afar," he says with a mischievous grin "If you say you've showed it to Keiji, then no wonder it felt so familiar!"
"Only from afar...?" I mutter, confused, then it dawned on me "Oh, right, you were sealed in Shibuya! Hey, how about I give you a demonstration now? You know, since you showed us your domain way back at the beginning, it's only fair!"
"Oh hell yeah! Let's go!"
"Wait, wait, wait! Hold your horses, you two!" Megumi interrupted before we could climb up the stairs "Didn't you just say there were dozens of souls out there. Your domain would literally give them a corporeal body!"
"I mean, yeah," I shrug, dragging him along, then jesture to Gojo "but we've got this nuclear bomb of a man here so we'll be fine!"
We make our way outside and I can see Gojo sealing back the archives with a complicated sigil.
"I'll be back for that later, with someone who can translate!" He winked and jogged into the clearing, adopting a playful sparing position.
"I could translate for you!" I say mirroring him.
"I don't doubt it, but I need someone impartial!"
"Fair enough!" I agree and then smirk "Domain Expansion: Stars' Garden!"
Stardust settled all around us and I ruffle Yuji hair as he appeared next to me.
"You've shrunk, mutt! " I hear a voice say from behind in ancient Japanese.
We whipped around to be greeted by many soldiers I knew for a fact were present when the compound burned.
"No need to be so dramatic, Sukuna," the man said, stepping forward "We've not turned you down from returning here in life and we will not do so in death."
"...Why are all of you still here? " I ask, voice shaky and I feel Gojo come up behind me and Yuji.
"We wanted to see our clan avenged, though we could not leave the grounds without re-entering the cycle of rebirth."
"Kenjaku is dead," I say, in a growl, nodding at the man "I made sure of it! "
"Good! " He nods and places a hand on my shoulder "Keep protecting that soft hearted fool, Gods know he needs it! The strongest fall the hardest, as they say! "
I turn around to peer at Gojo who let out a questioning hum. I just huff and shake my head, turning back to the man in front of me.
"Yeah, I'll keep an eye on him, don't worry about it! "
He nods and steps back, bowing.
"Thank you for your aid, Sukuna of the Sugawara clan! Keiji-sama truly made a great decision bringing you among our ranks! "
I could see all the men nod their heads in acknowledgement and I let out a shaky breath.
"You truly doubted my judgement, general? " Keiji's painfully soft voice said from over my shoulder.
"Never, Keiji-sama! " The man rose with a grin, then him and the rest dissolved back into the mist-like star dust.
I slowly turn around to see Kenji's pale eyes, except it was Gojo wearing them.
"Stand proud brother! " He says in the same soft tone "And give the rat hell! "
I couldn't help but break out into uncontrollable laughter as I dropped my domain. If even Keiji was slandering his reincarnation then it's clear that Gojo is just special like that.
God, I needed this. Life is truly good again!
Five centuries later...
"Oh, I'm way too old for this!" Yuji complains, chasing down some fuckass curse "Deploy the cat!"
The instant I let Yoru out she jumped on the curse, killing it with maximum efficientcy.
"Good job, Yoru!" He pets the cat, burring his face into her fur.
'You should rest some!' I tell Yuji, sending a wave of concern his way 'You've been fatigued for the past few months!'
'That's just old age catching up to me, Kuna!'
'All the more reason you should rest and enjoy the smaller things in life now!' I scold him 'You've done your part! Five centuries of it in fact!'
'I suppose you're right!' he accepts the argument 'But it feels good to still be able to help!'
We find a comfortable place on the roof we found ourselves on and Yoru came to lay down at our back, like a giant pillow.
The sunset was reflecting off the glass buildings giving the illusion that the entire city was engulfed into divine flames. I could feel Yuji slowy drifting towards sleep as the sun finally crossed the horizon, giving way to the stars above.
'Yuji?'
He simply hummed in response as I felt his soul stir into an unusual way.
'How do you feel? About your life, I mean.'
'I had a good run,' he answers plainly 'High school was great, getting to learn about the jujutsu world with everyone else. Then came those aliens, which I'm not even gonna comment on!'
'Yeah, that one was really wanky! It was cool to see the ten shadows again though!'
'Yeah, it was... These past few centuries were good too. I'm glad we finally got to clear your name of Kenjaku's bullshit and that we got to meet the current Six Eyes user! I really thought there would be no more jujutsu sorcerers, so I'm happy to see that some of them still remain. The world is in safe hands!'
'It truly is!'
He sighed and finally closed his eyes. That's when I finally understood why everything felt so floaty, why I felt the need to ask Yuji that question.
'Do you think we'd find each other in our next life?' he asks, voice far away.
'I can only hope so!' I answer him with a wave of affection 'But if we don't, I'm sure you'll do just fine! The cycle is endless, so I don't doubt we'll meet again someday!'
'That's good!'
It didn't take long for the warm void of death to take us. Lively until the very end, that's my boy Yuji! This third death wasn't so bad.
I was vaguely aware that we drifted together for a while, with Yoru in tow. I wanted to hold on as Yuji started to drift a different way, but I knew I couldn't really do anything so I just mentally wished him luck as I caught a bright flicker in the corner of my awareness.
Warm lights greet me once more as someone wraps a warm blanket around me. I no longer have an ultra wide visual range (which is really a shame), but hey, not everyone can just be Sukuna. Luckily Yoru was still tightly wrap around my soul and I could hear her happily purr in the back of my mind.
"I must say, this is quite possibly the calmest baby ever delivered at this hospital!" The person holding me said after finally handing me off to a young woman.
As I looked up I could tell she had flowy back hair that I was quite jealous of. What I assume was her husband was leaning over her shoulder to look at me as well and bro had some mesmerizing purple eyes, let me tell ya.
"Welcome to the world, little Suguru!" The man cooed.
Oh, we're having fun in this one boys, girls and squirrels, we're Suguru motherfucking Geto!
"Hello, little one!" The woman also cooed.
Hello to you too, my fellas. You guys are very pretty. Hope we'll get along!
I let out a series of gurgles and squirm a bit. My new parents just melted right there on the spot.
This is gonna be a good one!
End notes:
Ok so maybe Yuji death seems kinda unexpected, but it do be like that sometimes!
Also, last pieces of art I have for this:
Also there's a Yoru plush now (not 100% accurate but still cute in it's own way)
There's also an animatic in the works, tho that one will take a bit longer (if you're on the discord server you've probably seen it already). I'll post it as soon as it's done!
Once again, thank you very much for reading!

SIkuna AU
Part 1 | Part 17 / Part 18 / Final part
I truly can't believe we're so close to the end! And to think I didn't think I'd update nearly as often as I did!
Anyway hope you enjoy!
We all gathered just outside the elders chambers. The amount of concentrated cursed energy surely gave away that we were there, but there really wasn't anything those bastards could do at this point. Their very souls were quaking in their boots.
"You ready?" Gojo asked, an excited twinkle in his eyes.
"Bro, I have never been one to half-ass shenanigans!" I grin wide, feeling infinity vibrate in enthusiasm.
"You have no idea how long I've waited to do this!"
"Beat a thousand years, ya rat!"
"You slept the entire time, it doesn't count!"
"Fuck both of you!" Megumi suddenly interrupts, kicking the door in and brandishing... Yuta's sword? "Which one of you fuckers wants to go first?!"
The elders startled and started to shout as poor Yuta was looking between Megumi and the sheath at his side in sheer bamboozlement.
"They grow up so fast!" Gojo wipes a non-existent tear, looking proudly at Megumi.
I just roll my eyes and strut forward with all the arrogance bestowed upon me by the Sugawaras, God and the all mighty Plot.
"Well well well, looks like you're shit outta luck, ya fucking fossils!"
The moment me and Gojo were fully in sight they froze like the ancient relics they are and I could feel the fear oozing off of them.
"Maaah~ you set out a death warrant for anyone trying to free me, why so silent now~?" Gojo purred at the elders "You scared~?"
"K-know your place!" One of the geezers dared to stutter.
"Kay, so you're first!" Megumi didn't hesitate to launch himself at the idiot.
I could feel Yuji watching in disappointment from the back.
'You wanted the first kill?' I ask as pandemonium erupted around us.
'No, I'm just sad we had to resort to this!'
'Ah! Well, if it makes you feel any better we are not actually killing anyone!' I sent a wave of reassurence his way 'I'll just terrorise them a little!'
"Domain Expansion:" I say slowly, enjoying every moment "Malevolent Shrine!"
The moment everything was enveloped in red, Gojo shot off on his own spree, enjoying this just as much.
"And he judges me for killing!" I hear Geto pout behind, where the students were watching in various emotional states.
I turn calmly towards him, taking one good look and his disgruntled expression.
"Do you... Hmm, do you really not understand why everyone is actually mad at you?" I ask him genuinely.
"Is the murder not why...?" He trails off
"Nah dude. It's the fact that you're racist that's pissing people off!" I go to stand next to him, watching Gojo have his fun "Why do you hate non-sorcerers anyway? I mean, I understand the whole curses situation, but surely that's not the only reason!"
"They live in ignorance while we had to protect them from the very curses they created!" He muttered lowly, avoiding my eyes "When I found the twins all I could think of was that if they were gone we wouldn't have to fight curses and die in vain anymore."
"That is valid, I suppose. You lost your purpose and getting rid of the roots of your suffering seemed like a just cause!" He finally looks at me with tired, haunted eyes "But have you stopped to think that they don't know?"
"What?" He whispered, as if gutted.
"...How can someone be sorry, if nobody told them what they did wrong? And why should anyone be sorry for being born a certain way?"
I watch as a bit of understanding entered his eyes. C'mon big guy, I believe in you!
"Y'know, people used to hurt me as a kid! Treat me as if I was a curse!" I tell him with a bittersweet smile "I didn't understand what I did to make them hate me so. I believe non-sorcerers are the same. They don't understand your hatred or why you'd hurt them, just like I didn't understand why someone would go out of their way to hurt me!"
I put a hand on his shoulder and gave it a gentle squeeze, hoping to get across that I wasn't mad at him.
"Japan seems to be the only place with a constant influx of curse," I tell him softly "Maybe look that way for an answer to your problem. You've already died once for your sins. Make your second chance count!"
"You're quite the talker, aren't you?" He asks with a soft laugh, ruffling my hair.
"I do like to hear myself talk, yes!" I joke back "Seriously though, if not for yourself, do it for that stupid blue eyed rat!"
"Welp, we are definitely done here!" Gojo skips over with Megumi in tow.
"You traumatized your students, you fucking peanut!" I tell him, shoving his shoulder "You're paying for everyone's therapy!"
"Fine by me!" He agrees easily.
"So," Yuji starts hesitantly, taking back over "does this mean we're no longer getting executed?"
"The kill order was issued towards you, for being the vessel of Ryoumen Sukuna. As far as I'm concerned that document was invalid anyway since my name is just Sukuna!"
"Your logic astounds me!" Gojo states, crossing his arms "I wouldn't have let them kill you two anyway! Now c'mon, we gotta celebrate!"
"You had quite the talk with Sukuna back there!" Gojo said matter of fact, handing Geto a drink and perching on the arm of his armchair.
"Yeah, he... He has a way of making you feel like shit without actually accusing you of anything," Geto replys, taking a sip of his drink.
"Yeah, he has that talent!" The white haired man says with a soft smile, carding his fingers through the other's hair "He used to act like he didn't care and he's definitely not a saint, but he may truly be the one who cares the most viciously out of us all. Sukuna would rather see us hurt by his own hand than let anyone else touch us!"
Geto just hummed, leaning into Gojo's touch and watching the students explain the school system to the twins.
"How did history remember him as a monster?" Geto wondered aloud.
"I have my theories," Gojo answers simply "all of them involve Kenjaku!"
"Ah, so he got his revenge already!" Geto hums pleased.
"Oh, yeah, you were there!" Gojo says with a grin "Wish I could've seen that little rascal in action!"
"You would've loved every second of it!" The black haired man chuckles "You're planning on clearing his name aren't you?"
"Absolutely!" Gojo agreed easily "if the Sugawaras were as thorough as the Gojos are today, than I might just have a plan!"
"I'll hold you to that! We both own that kid our lives!"
"YOU DON'T OWE ME SHIT!" I yell from the other side of the room.
"You eavesdropping, you little shit?" Gojo laughs delighted.
"It's not eavesdropping if you're talking in a public space!"
"Go back to socializing with your pears, kid!" Geto shouted with a grin.
"Har har!" I bark back, letting Yuji turn us back towards the twins.
A few days later things started settling back at Jujutsu High. Gojo convinced Geto to give teaching a try and the twins were now part of the second years.
Training sessions were now even more chaotic, what with so many students. I'm pretty sure Jujutsu High has never had this many students at once.
"Again!" I call out as Mimiko was laid on her ass.
"Stop bullying her!" Nanako called out from where she was sparing with Maki.
"I'm not!" I chuckle, landing her twin a hand "You're doing well, kid, don't worry!"
"You really think so?" Mimiko asked hesitantly as she got back into position.
"Hell yeah!" I take a swing and she dodges "You'll be able be beat even Megs in no time!"
"Huh?!" Megumi suddenly turned around, missing a high from Nobara and tumbling to the ground.
"Lmao, Dumbass!" I roll to the side avoiding a kick and getting a ruffled Megumi in my field of vision.
"Choke and die!" He spits, giving me the middle finger.
"Aww, did I hit a nerve?" I crooned in an overly sweet tone.
"DIVINE DOGS!"
Suddenly the two hounds started chasing after me and I probably let out the most embarrassing scream of my life. I didn't even care about sparring anymore I just fucking booked it.
"GET YO FUCKING DOGS, BITCH!"
"They don't bite!" The little fucker said smugly.
"YES THEY DO!" I yell, just for the bit.
Yeah, life was good!
SIkuna AU
Part 1 | Part 16 / Part 17 / Part 18
I found enough stuff to make one extra part so we'll have 19 parts in the end, yippee! Hope you enjoy!
Tengen's presence is an experience, that's for sure. I relish in the fact I can hide inside my domain for the introductions and let Yuji do all the talking, but I kinda feel bad for the kid if you know what I mean.
"Why did you close off the tombs of the star corridor?" Tsukumo asked calmly.
"I was afraid you might be allied with Kenjaku!" They said in a neutral tone "Especially since he's in the warehouse as we speak!"
"Who's Kenjaku?" Megumi asked with narrowed eyes.
"It was the guy possessing Geto-san's body I think," Yuji answered him "Sukuna killed him back in Shibuya."
"Geto's the one in the warehouse," I grumble from my vessel's hand "I don't think he'd be inclined to come further on his own."
"I can understand why," they said with a nod "the threat of Kenjaku is no more then. I suppose you need help with freeing Satoru Gojo!"
We all nod in agreement and Yuji pulls out the cube from his pocket.
"We have the Prison Realm already, we just need to know how to open it!"
"Oh, well that simplifies things drastically!" Tengen says with a smile. "It's really just as simple as pushing your cursed energy towards it and calling out 'gate open', then 'gate closed' for closing it obviously!"
"... Really?" I rumble with a deadpan "One of the most powerful cursed objects... AND IT'S THAT EASY TO USE?!... I give up."
"I've heard many stories about your personality, but I didn't quite believe them until now, Sukuna!" Tengen chuckled.
"Oh, well, can't be helped!" I tell them "Say, do you reckon we should free him in an open field?"
"Yes, that would be the safest for everyone, I believe" they hummed approvingly "Please do bring back the Prison Realm once Gojo is unsealed! We do not wish a repeat of this after all!"
"Sure thing!"
"Well, if that is all, you should probably go collect your friends!" Tengen said with a wave.
"Thank you for your help!" We all bowed in respect and made our way back to the warehouse.
The rest of the death paintings were finally free and Geto looked a bit weirded out by the group.
"My my, looks like the family reunion is going well!" I rumble in delight.
Some of the half-curses nearly made my skin crawl, but the way I could see their expressions and feel their souls put me at ease. These weren't mindless curses out to kill someone, they're basically just over excited children. Kinda reminds me of myself when I was young.
"It is indeed!" Choso bowed his head in greeting "Thank you! All of you!"
I let Yuji bump shoulders with his brother and we make our way out, wrangling the new six additions like kindergarteners.
"So," Tsukumo asked "how are we doing this?"
"Get the students, find Yaga, go to an unused training field and release the Sugawara menace back into the world!" I say, not seeing a point to beating around the bush.
"And then what?" Maki asked "As far as you're concerned, you and that guy still have a death warrant on your head!"
"Me and the kids are strong enough to avoid execution for now!" Geto said, more cordially than I've seen him towards Maki so far "Once Satoru is free, it'll be a breeze to get rid of either the death warrants or the elders, whichever is more convenient!"
"And you're not gonna turn on us because?"
"Sukuna did make a good point about the creation of curse!" The man grumbled begrudgingly "Plus as big of a bastard as I am, I do not wish to be anything like Kenjaku! So... I was wrong, I apologize!"
He forced out the last part as if someone was holding him at gun point, but I nod approvingly regardless. A small step in the right direction, but a step nonetheless!
"Right!" Megumi interrupted us "Wanted people, stay here, you're way safer than outside. We'll come get you soon enough. The rest of us, let's gather the rest and just get on with this!"
Man, he must be really done with this shit. Can't say I disagree.
"Are we sure this is safe?" Junpei asked with a nervous look.
"As safe as it gets, kid!" I tell him as everyone huddled behind makeshift barricades.
"And you and Yuji are gonna be fine?" He asks, before going for cover himself.
"Yeah, we got a thick head on our shoulders!" Yuji reassures, knocking on his head for emphasis.
Once I could sense everyone at a safe distance, I turned my attention to the cube. The eyes on it peered at us without any malice, it simply seemed curious in a way. With each pass of my hands it closed a few of its eyes like a purring cat while I tried to map out its cursed energy flow.
Finally found the spot that would most easily let me pour my own energy in, like a key hole. Once the cube was saturated with energy I felt it like a thin thread connecting us. I gently placed the Prison Realm in the center of the field, took a few steps back and crouched down in the hopes we'd be somewhat safer at ground level.
"Gate Open!" I shout, more to the benefit of everyone else.
The effect was immediate. A strong thrumming reverberated throughout the clearing and I'm sure far across the school grounds. It felt like the bass at music festivals and it seemed to pulse in sink with my rapid heartbeat. A cloud of dust rose as I saw the Prison Realm finally uncoil from itself and surrounded by it I could feel one very distinct soul.
"You stupid Sugawara!" I yell as the dust settled "Ya missed all the fun!"
"Maaah~ What do you meeeean?" He pouted, stepping away from the cube.
"SATORU!" I could hear both Megumi and Tsumiki shout as they dashed past us to tackle the man into a hug.
"Gate closed!" I whisper and run to catch the cube before it could hit the ground.
Soon enough everyone came to greet the rat back and I let Yuji have his turn at hugging the man. I think the most interesting reaction was when Gojo finally laid eyes on Geto. He tensed up, gearing for a fight but one look at the man's scared forehead and then at his bright eyes got Satoru Gojo to completely crumble into a mess of sobs.
"Kiss and make up already!" I shout from the back and Megumi just smacks us over the head.
Luckily the two men just burst out laughing and actually fucking kiss. Absolutely fantastic! I can finally die happy!
'I think people would much prefer if you didn't die at all, Kuna!' Yuji said fondly.
'Oh, I'm not going anywhere kid!' I tell him, happily petting Yoru 'You're not getting rid of me for a long long time from now!... As long as you want me here of course!'
'I don't think I'd ever mind your presence!'
I just sent a wave of fondness his way, mixed in with gratitude. This kid is truly something else.
"Right, so," I rumbled, getting everyone's attention "we were promised food. What happened to that Geto?"
"Pff- you little shit!" He scoffs, still clinging to Gojo.
"How 'bout we let Shoko make sure I'm not hurt or something and we can raid the the school kitchen?" The white haired man purrs, eyes twinkling with mischief.
"Sounds like a plan!" Yaga sighed like a tired dad "Just don't raze Jujutsu High to the ground, please!"
"No promises!" The two men chipped in tandem and nobody could help but laugh in some way.
We ended up scattered all throughout the student kitchen and the lounge area. Yuji got designated as chef cook for the evening and everyone else was just running laps around him under his command. (My man ran a tight ship and there were no idle hands on his watch.)
Everyone ended up with their preferred meal and now we were just eating and chatting, catching Gojo up to all the bullshit.
"Daaamn!" He said with a mouthful of shrimp pasta "So Sukuna really just send y'all to gang up on that Mahito bitch, huh! No wonder they fear you, your highness~!"
"Flattery will get you far, Sugawara, but last I checked Kenny got you cubed while I nucked him out of existance, so I'm still the top dog here!"
Gojo just ended up chocking on a shrimp while laughing at that and I couldn't help but make the worst joke of my career.
"Malevolent Shrimp!" I purr with a smug grin and the rat just hits the armchair he's in, in a fit of breathless laughter.
"Oh my God, stop! Just stop!" He pleads, wiping tears out of his eyes.
"Ok, but serious talk now," I say, and he just tilts his head with a hum "Can I Malevolent Shrine the elders? No, stop laughing, I'm serious!"
"Su-sure!" He continue to laugh, having to put down his plate before he dropped it "I'll even help you since they did us dirty like that!"
I raise my hands in victory, letting out an involuntary cackle, then immediately dashes for Megumi despite Yuji loudly protesting that violence is not the answer.
Indeed it is not, dear brother of mine, it's the question and the answer is abso-fucking-lutely!
"MEGS! Megs Megs-MegsMegsMegs! We get fuck up the elders!" I shout, basically having a zoomies moment.
"What?! And I'm not invited!" Nobara complained with mock offence.
I freeze on the spot and look at her with big eyes, leaning fully into my theatrics.
"Of course your invited" I say, as if reciting some sort of prophecy "your, like, the most rabid person I know!"
"FUCK YOU MEAN-?!"
Needless to say I ended up basically upturning the dorms running from the devil herself while feeling truly home for the first time in a long while.

We're in the homestretch of this fic my guys. There's not really much left of this fic. I'm gonna go through the ao3 comments, see if I have any more random moments I could add, or anything I haven't wrapped up, so maybe I could stretch this to 19 parts.
Anyway, sorry for going MIA but college started up again. Hope you enjoy though.
Ever since Shibuya, curses started crawling through the streets of the city far more frequently, but thankfully it was nowhere near as bad as the og arc.
'Everyone in position?' Yuji asks eyeing the behemoth curse we've been tracking for an hour.
'Yes!' I answer, sensing our team's souls 'It's go time!'
We slingshot from the top of the building aiming straight for the curse's back.
'Now!'
Yuji swings his hand in a wide arch pulling on cursed energy with all his might.
"Dismantle!" He called out and the curse immediately split down the middle, letting us free fall right between it's two fading halves and right into one of Geto's fluffier curses.
'I did it!' the kid shouted proudly as the the Geto's curse start running for the alleyway.
"That was awesome Yuji!" Nanako exclaimed and Mimiko nodded enthusiastically.
"Well done, kid!" Geto ruffled our hair as we got off his curse "We've done good work for today! We should go eat something!"
"Next time I'm teaching you how to use blood manipulation!" Choso muttered with a pout (he'll never admit it though)
"That was an adequate display of Sukuna-sama's technique," Uraume praises in their own way.
"We should take the long way around home," I warn in a bored tone "Some Zen'in brat is patrolling around the area and I really don't want to deal with him!"
"Scared of a little fight, your majesty?" Eso asked with a chuckle.
"Nah! Think of it this way, this guy is everything I've ever complained about in regards to Gojo."
"So, a stupid rat?" Nanako asks.
"Ayup!"
I can hear Geto fail to hold in a snort and let out a wheeze at our comentary.
"So you don't actually think that about Satoru?" The man looks back with a smile.
"The rat part? Not really, it's more like a term of endearment at this point!" I tell him with a shrug "He is fucking stupid though! Carrying the weight of the jujutsu society on his own like an idiot! He should know better and take a break every now and then!"
"That's Satoru for you!" The curse user chuckles taking a peak around the corner, then motioning for us to follow.
"Oh, that reminds me!" Yuji says "how do you and Gojo-sensei know each other?"
"Oh, um," Geto started, scratching the back of his neck "we went to high school together!"
"Really?" The kid asked "How come he never talks about you, then? He's always so chatty!"
"Gojo-san and Geto-sama had a... Disagreement!" Nanako cut in at Geto's slight frown.
"With all due respect, kid," I state simply "one does not 'disagree' about the human rights."
"You lived in the golden age of Jujutsu sorcerery, Sukuna," the man said, voice coated in a venom ment to mask all his pain "I wouldn't expect you to get it!"
"Get what?" Yuji looks at the man then at the twins "I feel like I'm missing something important here?"
"Do you know about the Holocaust?" I ask in a deadpan.
"Yeah?" Yuji answered hesitantly "now I'm kinda scared though."
"Yeah, probably should be. He's basically early stage jujutsu Hitler!" I drop on the poor kid, gesturing towards Geto "Maybe also Rasputin since they couldn't really kill him..."
I'm not comparing this guy to Jesus after just mentioning 'stache man. No sir.
"You really don't understand, do y-"
"Oh, I think I understand way more than you think, pretty boy!" I growl "a world without curses just brings other terrors in their stead!
"How would you know?" Geto turns back all riled up.
"Wouldn't you like to know, you walking menajery! And just to be clear, sorcerers can also create curses, so your whole point is moot!"
"Yeah? Where's your proof?!"
"Right there!" I yell point at the roof where Yuta was perched.
"Well this is interesting!" The boy muttered taking out his katana.
"May I suggest making haste and scattering, my dears?" I say, doing a double take. "I said SCATTER!"
I let shadows explode around us, covering the direction each of us went. I could feel Choso hot on our heels, refusing to let his brother alone and I was just mentally groaning at the thought we had to keep this guy safe as well.
Suddenly Yuta dropped down from above, nearly chopping our head off. Yuji slipped beneath his blade and continued running, taking to the fire escape up onto the roofs.
'Bad move, kid!' I snarl 'You don't wanna be in the open!'
That's when Rika came from the side, nearly catching us in her grip. Yuji nearly froze at the sight of the shikigami, but before I could do anything Yoru took over and sprinted past that thing on all fours.
"Ummm, she can just do that?" Yuji asked holding out me for dear life.
"She's a cat, of course she's built for professional tag!"
It must've been a weird sight, seeing a kid performing quadrobics on the roofs and dodging some shady creature. Too bad Yoru's a cat and doesn't care for what humans consider weird.
She weaved and dodged any attempt at catching her. She slipped back down in the alleys, hiding behind bins and jumping up on walls, leading Yuta and Rika in circles for a good hour or two.
"WILL YOU JUST STAY STILL?!" Yuta asked, already on the verge of tears, having dragged an unconscious Choso around the entire time.
Yoru just yowled, offended at the mere notion.
Yuta must've gotten an idea, but if the way he was frowning was any indication, he really didn't like said idea. We watched as the kid pulled Choso up and turned his blade towards the half-curse's heart.
"NOOO!" We both yelled out in unison turning back in a blind panic.
That's when Rika caught us in a tight hug, rubbing her head on us like an overgrown cat.
'Yuji... Yuji breath!' I give him a good mental shake
'This is it! This is how we die!'
'We are not dying, calm down!'
"Hold him still Rika!" The teen said, gently laying down Choso and turning his blade to us.
'You were saying?!'
'We've survived missing a heart before, no?'
"I'm sorry, Itadori!" I the kid muttered sliding the blade clean through.
'I'M GOING TO STRANGLE YOU, SUKUNA!'
'Please don't!' I scrabble back.
It was dark around us when we finally woke up again. I don't hesitate to spread out my senses and figure out who's around us.
Yuta straight ahead, Choso, his brothers and Uraume off to the side, plus Megumi, Geto and the twins behind us.
"Oh, your finally awake!" The teen stammered in profound relief "I was worried I overdid it for a moment!"
"Nah, bro, it's chill!" I tell him and he instantly freezes "If you truly wanted us gone you would've given us a lobotomy!"
"Ah, yeah!" Yuta sweat drops.
"Yuta Okkotsu!" Geto says finally leaving the shadows to stand directly behind us.
"Suguru Geto!" The kid says, raising to his feet "Aren't you supposed to be dead?"
"Didn't stick," he responds.
"Can you please not pick a fight with a literal child?" I ask, peering up at him.
"I suppose were all after the same thing," he sighs "I will play nice for you two's sakes."
"Thank you!" I tell him, getting up as well.
"Right, Fushiguro, what have you got for us?" Yuji asks, turning to the dark haired teen.
"We believe Tengen-sama might know how to open the Prison Realm," he starts and I can already see Geto's expression souring "But we'll need to go back at Jujutsu high for that."
"We do that then!" Yuji agrees, the after a moment turns back to Yuta "Also, why did you kinda sorta killed us back there?"
"Oh, I had to make a binding vow with the elders! You know, to keep up apparences!"
"I see the old geezers never stopped fucking children over!" Geto grumbles
"That's why we need Gojo back!" I scoff "I still haven't asked him for permission to introduce those fuckers to my other domain!"
"Your other WHAT?!"
It doesn't take us long to get back on the school grounds and descend into some basement where Maki, Nobara, Junpei and Tsukumo were waiting for us.
"Glad to see you made it alright!" Tsukumo greeted, getting up to her feet "though there's a whole lot more of you than I expected!"
"There's strength in numbers!" Geto nodded seriously.
"See, why can't you be like this all the time?" I complain loudly, gesturing towards him "The patient teacher personality suits you way better!"
The man just sighs and shakes his head.
"Right, shall we go then?" Maki asked impatiently.
"Lead the way!" Megumi encouraged and we all started down the corridor.
Choso stoped for a moment next to the warehouse on our way and I couldn't help to chime in.
"You know, there's no reason for all of us to go for Tengen," I say hesitantly, motioning towards the half-curses "Choso, you guys and Geto could stay behind, see if you can give your other brothers a body using Mahito."
"Hmm, we could try..." Geto hums committedly.
It takes Choso a moment before he nods hesitantly.
"We'll meet you guys on our way back, then!" I nod as well then turn back.
'That was pretty thoughtful of you!' Yuji chimes.
'You think way too highly of me.'
'Why's that?'
'I just didn't want Geto here,' I answer, eyeing the blood stains on the floor.
'You seemed pretty adamant in keeping him around?' the kid hummed 'Why change your mind now?'
'Multiple reasons really, none of which are mine to share."
The kid accepts the answer, even if it was not entirely satisfactory.
As soon as we enter the next room we're greeted by an endless white void that felt distinctly like an innate domain.
"I guess I got my hopes too high..." Tsukumo muttered into the empty space.
"So, no answers on how to get sensei out," Yuji stated with a defeated look.
"Hey, we can always try random bullshit and hope something works," I try to comfort him, but that sounded weak even to me.
"Well, no point in staying any longer," Tsukumo said, turning back towards us "Let's collect our merry band of misfits and go!"
"Leaving so soon?" Tengen's voice echoed throughout the room and I could fill apprehension settle in my bones.
God, this guy creeps me out!

Part 1 | Part 14 / Part 15 / Part 16
Shibuya is finally here! Enjoy!
The cold mid Autumn air whistled harshly above the Aoyama Cemetery as Yuji walked just a step behind Mei Mei and her brother. I've felt dread and unease all of October, like when I was a kid and I knew winter was approaching. The stench of dried leaves and rain was slowly giving way to the smell of frigid air and I knew Halloween was finally here. I was ready for the carnage to come.
"What do you mean Gojo-sensei is going alone?!" Yuji asked the woman "I mean, I know he's the strongest, but surely there's something we can do!"
I can't even stand to look at the special grade sorcerer as my cursed energy coils and uncoils all around my domain. Yuji felt my agitation since morning despite my best efforts and now all I could feel was the urge to sprint wildly towards Shibuya to break Gojo's legs myself just so he couldn't step into that forsaken station.
The moment Mei Mei said we were going exactly there as backup it took everything in me to not claw for control. The kid surely felt it as I sensed a wave of worry directed my way.
This was worse than the burning of the Sugawara compound. At least back then I could see the moment it all went to shit, but now I had to wait for a fucking traitor to tell me until I could act.
It didn't take long for us to get our information from one of the managers and we dove right into the underground system.
'Yuji!' I growl, eyes locking onto the grasshopper curse ahead.
'Got it!'
He ducks to the side, the curse's mandibles latching onto the concrete floor. He spins around to kick the damn thing into the opposite wall with a satisfying crunch and in mere moments we're next to it again, cleaving it into dozens of pieces.
"But I thought... I was smart..." The curse muttered weakly as it faded away.
'Like a brick!' I spit 'Let's keep moving!'
We sprint down the hallways, going deeper and deeper into the underground structure, stopping briefly for a civilian that was way beyond saving.
'Don't touch him!' I sneer, mentally yanking Yuji back 'This one's Mahito's!'
'Oh...' he answers dejected, as the man convulsed in his last moments.
A vibration rattled the air almost imperceptibly, but I felt it resonates deep within each crevice of my soul, leaving a haunting echo behind.
'What was that?' the kid asked, eyes wide, scanning our surroundings as we took to the train tracks.
'Infinity!' I answer shortly in dread, then something whistled towards us and a cracking voice spoke directly in our ear.
"Yuji Itadori, can you hear me?"
"We can hear you loud and clear, traitor!" I growl and I can basically feel the little device buzz in fear.
Mei Mei's smile didn't falter, but she also took a step back, pulling her brother with her.
"Good... There isn't much time, Satoru Gojo-"
"Was sealed, I know!" I snarl motioning for our companions to keep going "I felt it the moment it happened!"
"Then you should know-"
"Doooon't caaare!" I say in a mocking tone, sending out a dismantle towards the curses coming our way "I can basically feel everyone's souls crawling around this city like magots right now! I believe I'm way more well informed than you, you glorified radio!"
"Itadori, you have to reach Shibuya above ground and let the other sorcerers know about Gojo! You have to turn back!"
"Yes-" Yuji nearly skids to a stop, but I cut him off.
"We ain't turning back and losin' time!" I scold the kid "We take the fucking vents, bitch!"
"This is why you're the smart one!" Yuji says, already propelling himself towards the nearest opening.
"See you there!" Mei mei called after us, as we disappear into the vent system.
I felt like a rat solving a maze at max precision, not caring much about the bruises we got crawling through the cramped space. The moment we were back above I immediately shot us above the skyscrapers pulling us along spiderman style using my shadow tendrils.
Once on top of a tall enough building I let the kid scream his lungs out until our allies started moving.
"Itadori. Sukuna." Megumi called from behind as him, Nanami and some other guy reached the top of the building.
"Take this guy, I'm already tired of him!" I rasp, throwing Mechamaru to the teen.
"O-kay?" He says in confusion, passing him over to Nanami. "Right, so, Gojo's sealed. What do we do?"
"Well we gotta figure out the veil first!" The random extra says.
"Keeps us trapped out here!" I tell him, a bit ticked off "It recognizes non-sorcerers and traps them in, keeping the rest of us out!
"So we bring it down and make our way in then!" Megumi said with a wild grin "Guns blazing!"
Ooohoho, we are so BACK!
At some point Nanami must've deemed the situation handled here, as we didn't have to wait for his permission to dive straight for the curse users protecting the veil anchor things.
I didn't have the patience for Megs to figure out our guy's technique so shadow tendrils and light rods pinned him down soon enough.
"HUUUH-?!" The curse user screamed and I just tapped him on the forehead putting him to sleep.
"Megs, you might wanna catch our friend," I say, already tracking the grade one sorcerer falling our way.
"Got him!" The teen shouts sending out Nue who retrieved him midair.
"You got it handled from here?" Yuji asks while I summoned Yoru.
"Sure thing!" He answers, a determined look in his eyes "See you later!"
'Keep his ass safe, girl!' I tell Yoru as me and Yuji were already sprinting towards the station 'Don't let him do anything stupid!'
"Don't move!" Inumaki's voice rang out in front of us at the station entrance.
I don't hesitate to send out a Dismantle, taking out half the stunned curses before slingshoting down. Soon enough the three souls I was already sensing came into view.
"Yooo, Eso! Kechizu!" We skid to a halt in front of the three "And you must be Choso!"
Choso just grunted with a nod.
"I'm guessing you are after Noritoshi Kamo, Sukuna!" He said in a monotone voice.
"That I am, though the name I know him by is Kenjaku!" I spit with distaste towards that monster.
"We're gonna kill him right? Right?" Kechizu asked with much enthusiasm.
"That man destroyed my life and left you all to suffer!" I growl out "We're gonna make him regret being born!"
"Let me see my little brother first!" Choso demands crossing his arms and I let Yuji take over.
"Um, hi!" Yuji says unsure of how to act around his half siblings.
"It is good to finally meet you, ototo!" The male says with a slight smile "Now, how can we help?"
"The curse Mahito, we need him dead if possible!" I say taking back over "If not at least don't let the fucker hurt anyone!"
"We can do that!" Eso answers with a nod.
"What about you two?" Choso asks, concerned clearly written on his face.
"I want to collect the fingers still in possession of our enemy. We'll need all the advantages we can get!" I answer determined, then bow my head "I'll keep Yuji safe!"
"You better!" He warns, then nods to his brothers "Let's go!"
I could feel them tracking down Mahito with much fervor merely minutes after they left our sight. What a dedicated bunch.
'Are you alright, Kuna?' Yuji asks in the silence that settled over the empty hallways.
'No,' I tell him truthfully, tracking Jogo and the twins 'But I will be once this is over!'
I turn our head to look at Nanako and Mimiko as they rounded the corner. They froze when they made eye contact and we stared at each other for a few seconds.
"I don't bite," I rumble out as softly as I could muster.
That seemed to break the girls from their fear and the two kneeled frantically.
"Sukuna, King of Curses," Nanako started, voice shaking "down below there's a man with monk robes and stitches across his forehead. We offer you one of your fingers in exchange for killing him!"
That's when Jogo decided to make his appearance and I turn to him with a deep scowl.
"And what do you want?"
"N-nothing!", the curse stammers "Our objective is to fully revive you! Matter of fact, I offer you eleven of your fingers!"
The curse kneels down presenting a cloth with all the fingers neatly laid out and I could basically feel the girls tensing up, their minds reeling.
'Hmm, Yuji, you might get unintentionally pushed down for a bit with so much of my soul. Is that alright with you?'
'You're not siding with Mount Fuji are you?' the kid asks a bit worried.
'You wound me!' I tell him amused 'But no. My goal aligns with the girls'.'
'Then do what you must!'
At that I don't hesitate to tug hard on the loose pieces of soul holding onto the fingers. The change was immediately noticeable, like a fog I didn't even know was there being lifted.
"Well then!" I laugh "You're of no use to me anymore! Toodles!"
I could see the curse's eye go wide as divine flame sparked alive and burned him whole.
Once done with that idiot I turn back to the two trembling girls and I pull the soul from the finger they carried as well. I then bend down, reaching out a hand to both of them.
"Well c'mon ladies! We have an evil bitch to terminate!" I smirk as they took my hands with uncertainty still etched into their features.
The walls were blurring past us as we made our way to the lowest level. Even without the girls I would've been able to find Kenjaku's soul (surprised he even has one) all the way at the bottom.
We stopped and hid by the stairs for a moment. I had a direct line of sight for the fucker who was sitting down waiting to just pick up Gojo an throw him into the ocean probably.
'Never again you bastard, not if I have something left to say!'
I could feel my cursed energy coiling painfully as I tried to suppress it and stay hidden.
"You two should go!" I whisper softly to the girls "Shit's about to get ugly!"
"How do we know you'll actually kill him?" Nanako asked with much bravery.
"I've wanted him gone for way longer than you've been alive, kid! But I vow this to you, the only way he's getting out of this is if I somehow die before he does!"
I could faintly hear chains rattling in the back of my mind and I'm sure the twins realized what just happened. They gave me a solemn nod then turned back to climb the stairs.
"Good luck!" Mimiko whispered back and I could just bow my head in acknowledgement.
As soon as they left I slipped along the walls until I got a good enough opening for what I was about to do.
None of the previous jitters and anxiety were left as I prepared the hand sign of my domain, only a deep chill settled in my bones and the unnatural calm of a predator stalking another, knowing it's either kill or be killed.
"DOMAIN EXPANSION: STARS' GARDEN!" The bastard's smile immediately dropped as the domain reached him and only the white eyes of a featureless shadow were left behind "EVENT HORIZON!"
Instantly a pained screech came from the specter as it could do nothing against being compressed into oblivion.
"Mercy!" That bastard dared to call out as if he had any right to it "MERCY!"
"Mercy?!" I let out a deranged cackle as I stopped briefly, never actually letting go of my technique "You truly think after everything you've done, I still have any mercy left?!"
"I thought a little incentive might just make you see reason, Sukuna!" The specter said with ragged breath "After all that apathy I thought giving you a vessel will finally pull you to my cause!"
The curse was downright manic as it squirmed under the pressure, scrambling for excuses, for something he could say to save his hide.
"That's where your theory collapses, Kenny! " I grin with all my teeth, tightening my hold on him once more "All your little stunt did was sharpen my claws and fuel my rage! As long as I'll exist in any way, shape or form you will know no peace, If you come back, I'll never be far behind and if you think for some reason that I might just forgive and forget, well... I'm neither Jesus nor do I have Alzheimer's, bitch!"
"No, WAIT!" he shouted, feeling the edges of his soul crack "SURELY THERE'S SOMETHING YOU WANT! LET'S MAKE A DEAL!"
"Sure there's something!" I say, and I just love how all hope died in his eyes at my next words "I want you to die! "
His screeches and shrieks of agony sounded throughout the silent station, echoing far into the hallways above for the world to hear.
He was finally gone. We. Fucking. Won!
"Such a fitting ending, for such a pathetic creature!" A familiar voice said from behind.
I turn to see another teen with white hair, helping Yuji stand up on shaky legs and a wide grin spreads on my face.
"URAUME!" I shout launching myself at the two and tackling them into a bear hug.
"That was horrifying..." Yuji whispered with a far away expression "Please never do that again!"
"Pff- of course kid!" I agree pulling him in tighter
"Are you crying?" Uraume asks me incredulously.
"No, it's just your imagination, fuck you!"
We stay like that for a minute and I'm just so glad I was able to finally do something right.
I could hear soft shuffling somewhere behind me, a few footsteps and a soft grunt as the person picked up the Prison Realm.
"How about you two go help with taking out Mahito, hmm?" I say, finally letting go of the two kids and taking one good look at them. "I've got it handled here!"
They nod and as they left I turned around to face one beat up Suguru Geto.
"Hello, you genocidal manic!" I chuckle with no real venom "How do you feel about atoning for your sins?"
The teen (because his soul was still just a scared teen it seemed) turn the prison realm this way and that then raised his head to look at me.
"I don't think a dead man can atone for much!" He says with tired eyes "Satoru's in here, right?"
"He is," I say stepping up and gently taking the cube from his hands "And as long as he's in there, they'll still try to kill us!"
"Kill you," he corrects with a soft smile.
"Do you really think we'd still be talking if you weren't alive?" I ask him with a playful smirk "I'd drop my domain to prove it but, that would mean leaving you alone with the prison cube!"
"Pff- How do we get Satoru out then?" He asks, barely above a whisper.
"Dunno, but I know we shouldn't be doing it here. Bro might just drop a nuke on us as soon as he's out!"
"Can't say you're wrong!" He agrees easily.
"C'mon, you can help me with checking on everyone else!" I say, then pause, looking at the station walls where gargantuan shadows slithered "Those your curses?"
"Yep!"
"Huh!" I look in awe "Shitty taste aside I'd love your technique!"
"I'd trade with you if I could, trust me!" He laughs and we start making our way up.
"Wooohooo!" I yell as one of Geto's bird-like curses carried us across Shibuya.
Geto laughs besides me, more free then he's probably felt in years and I can't help but wonder if all his pain could've been avoided.
"There they are!" I shout, pointing towards Megumi and Yoru "MEGS!"
He looks up and I can basically feel the confusion rolling off of him at the sight of Geto, but he still raises his hand in greeting. I motion for him to follow us as we weaved throughout the streets. He was up on Nue next to us in no time and Yoru just kept sprinting in our shadow.
"Where to?" He asks over the howling wind.
"We're going for the last curse from this rat pack!" I tell him with a wild grin "Everyone else is already there, c'mon!"
The image of Yuji standing menacingly over Mahito as we landed will remain as one of my favorite memories to date. The way the curse cowered and how he seemed so hopeful once he saw Geto, just for all of that to shatter in mere seconds.
"Here you go?" The teen says, holding out the Mahiball.
"And what do you want me to do with it?" I tell him with a chuckle "Have we not established I don't have curse manipulation?"
"Oh, right!" His eyes go comically wide then frowns deeply at the curse "Here goes nothing, I guess."
He looked entirely uncomfortable the entire time he ate that thing and all I could do was mentally vow I'd buy this guy some sweets or something for the trouble.
"Piercing Blood!"
"Ice Formation: Frost Calm!"
The arrow of blood coming from Choso was instantly disturbed by Uraume who threw the male a disapproving look.
"You said you would kill the bastard!" The elder half-curse snarled at me.
"And I did," I tell him calmly, then jestured to Geto "This guy is the original owner of the body."
"That sounds wrong," Geto muttered completely unfased.
Yeah, death desensitizes you to a lot! Anyway!
"I see I'm not needed after all!" A tall blonde woman said, dropping in "Geto, it's been a while!"
"Yuki Tsukumo!" He greets with a smile.
"Man, you gotta tell me your routine! You don't look a day past 18!"
"Ah, that would be my doing!" I butt in "Domain Expansion and all!"
"And you're Sukuna right?" She asks, far more chipper than you'd expect someone meeting me to be "I got a question for ya, what kinda women are you into?"
"No," I tell her instantly "Unless you accept abstract concepts as an answer I don't wanna talk to you."
"Eh?" She pouts. At least she's somehow more bearable than her mentee.
"Anyway, Yuji, we gotta roll!" I turn to the kid.
"Huh? Why?"
"Yeah, why?" Nobara asks with a hand on her hip "We just won didn't we?"
"Cause with the stupid Sugawara gone," I show them the cube "we're back on the chopping block! So until we can free the idiot, we're on the run!"
"So it's like the detention center all over again?" Megumi asks defeated.
"Kinda. Don't worry big guy, we'll figure it out soon enough and you can have Yuji back!"
"We're coming with you then!" Choso said, brushing of the remaining ice shards as his brothers nodded along.
"Us too!" Nanako said from besides them "You helped us with Geto-sama so now it's our turn to help you!"
"We'll go back to the school, make sure to keep you informed!" Megumi added in all seriousness.
"Well then," Yuji says with a smirk "looks like operation free Gojo-sensei and don't die is a go!"
"Let's free that idiot!" Geto says holding out his first.
I bump it and I can't help the feral grin on my face.
"Let's fucking do this!"
Note: Just so we're clear, Nanami is also alive, just banged up and traumatized. Sukuna is paying for an all inclusive trip to Malaysia for the guy (with Gojo's money of course)

Part 1 | Part 13 / Part 14 / Part 15
This one's a bit of a filler but we're diving into Shibuya next, so enjoy the peace for now
Yuji and Junpei were basically running laps around the comic book store, inspecting what felt like every single manga volume they had on the shelf. We finally had a day off and the first years decided they wanted to spend it in the bustling city.
Nobara went looking for clothes, Megumi was doing God knows what and the other two decided to come look at horror stories. Thankfully Yuji wasn't too bothered by me tugging him over to the fantasy and sci-fi section, he even seemed interested in some of the books himself.
I forgot how much I missed modern stories and media. Back in the Heian era it was just me and my sketchbook against the world, but now I was back in a world of bustling creativity and I was itching to get back in the game.
After picking up a few volumes and getting a message from Nobara, the boys check out and started heading towards the diner we agreed to meet up at with the others. On our way we passed a large window display with all kinds of stationary and I nearly tripped Yuji up with with how hard I was mentally shaking him.
'Can we go in? Can we? Please?' I beg him, already feral at all the pens and notebooks I was seeing 'I will literally never ask anything else of you again!'
"Jeez Kuna, relax!" Yuji chuckles aloud and at the weird look for the other boy he jestured towards the shop "Come on, let's see what they've got here!"
I was in heaven. Japanese stationary were said to be some of the best in my previous life and truth be told they didn't lie. There was so much cool stuff and I was basically frothing at the mouth to spend all of Gojo's money on it.
In the end my 'I'm broke' mentality didn't let me spend that much. I got only a new sketchbook, some pens, a set of makers and this funky looking pencil case that looked like some kind of moth plush. The boys laughed at me the entire time for the last one and I was tempted to just put it back, but Yuji didn't let me even entertain the idea.
"We're not laughing at you, Kuna!" The kid reassured as we made our way out of the store "It's just funny to think that the big bad King of Curses would like such a cute thing!"
"Wait until I get my hands on Lego flowers and string lights!" I tell him "Your room will look so fucking whimsical, I'd like to see you laugh then!"
"Whimsy is definitely not something I expected from you, Sukuna!" Junpei snickered, and I use one of the lower eyes to glare at him.
"Your right to an opinion," I tell him in a deadpan tone "hand it over!"
"Come take it yourself, coward!" He answers with a cocky grin, thinking himself safe just because there's a teen boy named Yuji between us.
"Your rights have been removed!" I say taking over and barely keeping in laughter "Prepare to get annihilated, my good sir!"
"Shit!" He grins wide then bolts.
I break out into a sprint, chasing after him, but not making any real effort to catch him. Laughter echoed the entire way to the diner.
I seamlessly switched out with Yuji once we entered the small establishment. Both teens were still breathing hard because of all the running, but they each had a wide grin on their faces.
"Hey guys! Wassup?" Yuji greeted the two- no, three waiting for us. Eyo?
"Oh, hey Ozawa! How's it going?"
Yooo it's the girl with a crush on Yuji! Sometimes I forget how slice-of-life coded my boy is. Bro would thrive in some cozy anime about community service or something.
We sat and chatted for a bit until Megs mentioned we had to go cause there was something we needed to do before heading back, (again, this is our free day, what could we possibly have to do?) so we paid our bill and got up to leave.
'Wooh, That's a tall lady!' I say looking up at Ozawa.
'Don't be rude, Sukuna!'
'I'm not! I'm just saying it as is. We didn't have tall women back in the day y'know! More power to her!'
'Oh, yeah, totally!'
"So, Fushiguro, where are we going right now?" Yuji asked once we got on the train.
"Well, I talked with Gojo and defeating the curse from the other day didn't wake Tsumiki up," the kid said in defeat "so I thought I'd take Sukuna up on his offer!"
"You better be able to do something, ya hear!" Nobara pointed a finger at Yuji's face, making the boy sweatdrop.
"I'll do my best!" I tell them seriously "Worst case scenario, it's not related to her soul and I can lay down my domain to at least talk to her!"
Megumi just nodded remaining silent for the rest of the ride.
It was a bit awkward to get to Tsumiki's hospital room. The nurses were giving us the stink eye at every corner, but once inside I could instantly feel the opresive seal around the girl's soul.
"Tch! Yeah it's the soul alright!" I growl then quickly lay out Stars' Garden to get to work. Fuck Kenjaku and his roundabout plots.
Inside the domain the seal was finally visible to everyone present. I could hear the kids gasp at the mass of scarlet tendrils wrapped around Tsumiki's sleeping form. The seal looked rushed though, which worked to my advantage. As soon as I broke the first strand of the seal, it all fell apart and dissolved into thin air. The moment she was free Tsumiki started stirring until she finally opened her eyes.
"Wha- Kunai?" She muttered confused and I could feel my heart drop.
"What did you say?" I ask stumbling back as if dazed.
"Kunai," she stated more firmly this time, pushing herself into a sitting position.
Megumi moved to hover over her in concern, but she just pat his shoulder and gave him a smile.
"How?! H-how? You're- you-! Aaaaa-" I was already halfway on top of Yoru's big form, just screaming out my confusion and shock "-aaaaAAAAA-"
"You are as big of a drama queen as I remember, aren't you Kunai?" She said, shaking her head in amusement "What about you Megumi, how are you? What did I miss?"
"Um, I'm good, ugh," the poor kid seemed about as lost as I felt but to his credit he was handling the situation way better "How are you? And how do you know each other?"
"Oh, I never mentioned it before, did I?" Tsumiki chuckle "I'm what you would call a reincarnated soul! We're quite common actually, but usually one doesn't remember their past lives! I do, though and I remember Kunai very well, despite the many years it's been!"
"Really?" Yuji asked excited "That's so cool!"
"Ah!" Megumi looked over all very lost, but also relieved that his sister was fine.
"Kunai, dear, I'm not a curse," Tsumiki said, raising her hands in a pacifying gesture "stop looking so horrified!"
Despite wanting to run and avoid this entire situation I at least had the wits to stop screaming, lest one of the nurses decided to kick us out.
"There you go!" She chuckles once more "At least you finally came back, even if it is a thousand years later!"
"I- Naomi?" I ask already knowing down to the marrow of my bones that it was her.
"Yes, Kunai!" She smiles "Though I go by Tsumiki now!"
The teens around the room were silently observing the interaction, not daring to make a sound.
"...I- I know I don't really have any right to ask," I start, voice shaking "But how- How did you die?"
"Of old age," she said softly "Uraume-san took great care of us!"
I sigh, relived. At least the kids got to live a somewhat peaceful life after my major fuck up.
"How did you die, Kunai?" She asked and I swallow dryly. I can't deny her this answer, not after everything.
"Pretty sure I burned alive," I tell her, not sugar coating it "I was not able to kill that monster and avenge your father. I'm sorry..."
"Asahi's soul was set free after he moved on, so there's nothing to be sorry for!" She tilted her head to meet my eyes as best she could from the bed "Matter of fact, he reincarnated right here!" she added, patting Megumi's head.
"Wha-?" I stare in confusion then close my eyes in realization "Ok, looking back at it it kinda makes sense."
"Huh?" Megumi just looked between the two of us.
"Remember that weird feeling you got, the blue eyes, the weird shit you thought we agreed on and so forth?" I ask, then continue after he nods "That was probably your soul subconsciously remembering your past life, all amplified by my domain!"
"I'm surprised you didn't figure it out sooner!" Tsumiki just chuckles, which seems to break up some of the tension.
"Oh, shut up! I was dealing with figuring Keiji out, how was I supposed to clock this bitch as well?!"
"Whatever you say Kunai! Speaking of Keiji, we should call Satoru-san and tell him I'm awake now!"
"Yeah, I love Keiji to bits, but I'm not dealing with the blue eyed rat! You're on your own!" I say, going to dismiss the domain, then paused briefly "I'm glad fate kept the three of you together, even if only one of you remembers!"
"Fate reunited the five of us!" She jestured towards me and Yoru "I try not to dwell too much on past memories, unless they're fond or useful. Don't hold onto the darkness Sukuna!"
"I'll try..."
I let the domain drop and finally let the kids process everything that's happened.
"Oh, kiddo it's so good to see you up again!" Gojo held Tsumiki tight.
"It's good to be awake as well, Satoru-san!" The girl says, holding on just as tight.
"Bah! What did I say about the 'san'?" Gojo pulled back in mock offence.
"Pff- you'll live!" She scoffs in amusement "Megumi come here!"
She pulls the frowning boy into a group hug and Gojo wasted no time to trap him there with them.
"Oh, don't be so dramatic, Gumi!" The older man whines "You know you love us!"
"Yeah, yeah!" He grumbles, then mutters under his breath "Looks like that love transcends even lifetimes!"
It's late October when Utahime takes us on a mission to visit Mechamaru. It comes to no one's surprise his room was completely abandoned, confirming his mole status.

Part 1 | Part 12 / Part 13 / Part 14
Bro, we have one more part after this one, then we enter the Shibuya arc, SEND HELP!
Anyway, hope you enjoy!
The Tokyo students were once again gathered in Gojo office. Someone apparently deemed it necessary to fix the vent and I'm sorry for whichever poor soul had to put up with the rat for that to happen.
"As you well know, a lot of stuff happened," Gojo started, leaning back into his chair "and people even died! Soooo, whachu thinking, should we go on with the event?"
"What kinda question is that?!" Both me and Yuji say in unison, voices merged into that layered pitch.
'We should really stop doing that!' I pulled back.
'That's really weird. I agree!'
"Great!" Todo clapped, a serious expression on his face "Then it's settled! We keep going!"
"Where the fuck did you come from?!" I growl, taking over and flinching back.
This mountain of muscle then proceeded to spew out some speech about the importance of getting stronger or something. Truly, you couldn't pay me to listen to him talk.
It's only after everyone left the room, that I nudged Yuji to stay back and let me talk to Gojo.
"Yes, Sukuna~?" The man purred, as smug as always.
"Heard the geezers up in the viewing room weren't too happy with me back there!" I say with a slight rasp "Thanks for sticking up for us!"
He seems taken aback for a moment, then that bright smile of his was back in full force.
"You're very welcome! Anything for my precious students!" He pulled me in for a side hug and we both tensed a bit as I passed right through infinity. He relaxed way faster than me and just went to ruffle our hair, making that pink bird's nest look even messier.
"That's enough!" I bat away his and "C'mon they'll pick the next portion without us!"
"No they won't!" He grabbed me tight by the middle "Hold on!"
"I DON'T LIKE THIS!" I struggle, but we're gone in the next moment.
The children were gonna play baseball apparently and I proceed to take my leave at that. Sorry Yuji, but you're on your own on this one unless you want me to leave someone without teeth using that bat.
It's a few days after the exchange event that we get a new mission assigned. Some mysterious deaths of some middle schoolers. It was generic shit for most sorcerers, but knowing we'll meet the death paintings here makes it so much more exciting.
'Fushiguro used to beat up bullies! Can you believe that?' Yuji asked me, as if I wasn't present for every moment of that conversation.
'I took the kid on an ass kicking spree just a few days ago, I dunno how you didn't figure it out sooner!' I growl back smugly.
I eye Junpei stealing glances at Megs every now and then. Poor kid did everything in his power to put Yuji and Nobara between himself and the other emo kid. It was honestly kinda funny.
"So how much longer are we gonna wait for that curse on this bridge?" Nobara complains, breaking the semi-tense silence.
"We could be here a while longer," Megs answered, looking at the time "let's get something to eat!"
As we were making our way out of the convenience store, each of us with our preferred snacks, a pair of teens cycling by stopped to talk to us. These two most definitely gave us a lot of exposition that I most definitely didn't listen to. The most interesting bit was at the end, when Tsumiki was mentioned. Megumi paled instantly, as if his sister's death warrant was signed.
I decided to file that for later as Megs gave Ijichi a call to tighten security for Tsumiki. He also tried to make us leave him to deal with the curse alone, shoving us into Nitta's car.
"We're not letting him play martyr!" Nobara said, already getting out on the other side.
"Agreed!" Yuji adds, basically sprinting towards the bridge.
"No dying allowed today!" Junpei also agrees.
As much as Megs tried to look cool and nonchalant I could see him jump a little when we basically spawned out of nowhere.
"How do you expect us to be a team if you never tell us anything about yourself!" Nobara hounded the taller boy, while he just grumbled.
"We should cut him some slack," Junpei put a hand on the girl's shoulder "He didn't even notice us until now, so he must be really worked up about this curse."
Megumi took one pained look at the others then sighed and explained how the curse could relate to his sister's current condition.
"Hey," I rasp out to him "I don't wanna get your hopes up, but if by some chanse exorcising this curse won't wake her up, I might be able to help as long as what's keeping her asleep is related to the soul."
"And why would you help, Sukuna?" The teen asked, moreso in defeat than distrust.
"Because I know what it's like caring for a sibling!" I say, and his eyes widen at that "I had a family too, y'know? Before the whole cursed fingers shebang!"
Before the conversation could go any further Yuji crossed the creek passing under the bridge and a domain was laid out around us. Instantly I focused on all the souls in the immediate area.
1 curse, 2 death paintings, 4 kids, a cat and one twentieth of my soul. All in all, one bonafide shitshow!
"Megs, Junpei, y'all got the curse!" I say, urging Yuji to turn around "Nobara, Yuji, we've got this guy!"
You could barely blink before everyone was on their respective enemy and my group was running circles around the younger death painting. Before we got pulled through some mist like portals Nobara thankfully manager to destabilize the domain, revealing the special grade bearing my finger for Megs and Junpei.
Soon enough we were face to face with the second death painting of the day.
"Ah, my apologies!" The man? Male? Said in all his flamboyant glory "Me and my brother are not here to kill sorcerers! Step aside and I'll leave you be!"
"Well, public indecency aside, at least you're a gentleman!" I chuckled, while urging Yuji to hold Nobara back. "I think we're after the same thing here though. My finger, yes?"
"Why yes indeed, your highness!" The male answered "Will that be a problem?"
"Not at all!" I grin, pining the half-curse with my gaze.
'Yuji, dear brother of mine, I have a bad idea!' I tell the kid making sure to project my best sunshine character aura.
'On a scale from one to invading Russia in winter, how bad are we talking about?'
'I'm gonna rip our heart out again!'
'...That will benefit us how?!'
'It might get us three new powerful allies!' I say in a chipper tone 'Plus I'll heal it right after. No waiting like last time!'
'Fine!' he internally sighs 'I still don't really understand, but I trust you. I'm not sitting through another lecture after this though, you take the blame!'
'Yeah, yeah, yeah!' I agree readily, already brandishing my claws 'I need you fronting with me, brace yourself!'
"SUKUNA, WHAT THE FUCK?!" Nobara shrieked, catching us as we fell to our knees.
Luckily I could also see the death painting take a step back, eyes blown in pure shock. C'mon, big guy, tell me you feel it!
"Y-you're our-" the first half-curse circled us from behind, both mouths gaping in twin surprise. "You're our little brother!"
'Jackpot!' I mentally cackle and as I heal our heart.
"What?" Yuji mumbles completely lost, rubbing at the spot over his heart.
"What the hell is going on, potato head?!" The girl snarled in our ear and I'm sure I'm gonna get a whole lot more than a lecture later. Oh well!
"As you can see," I address Yuji's half siblings "we're on the same side here! Tell your big brother him and I have a common enemy that I'd very much like to get rid of. He'll probably know what I'm talking about!"
"But how?! " The guy into bdsm asks, jesturing towards Yuji "How is he our brother?!"
"Yes I would also love to know about that!" Yuji butted in.
"Hmm, well I don't know the how," I lie straight through my teeth "but familial relationships can be seen through the soul sometimes, and the cursed womb death paintings have this really handy trick where they're very aware of each other. Something something Kamo clan bullshit. Your souls looked to be related so, y'know, what's the worst that could've happened?"
"The worst- Uggghhh! King of idiocy they should've called you!" Nobara hits us over the head.
"Ow! Why am I catching strays?!" Yuji asked with a pout.
"You're collateral damage!" The girl answer with a snarl of her own.
"I will have to ask you to refrain from further hurting our brother!" The more human-like half-curse asked far more sober than I bet he truly felt. The green little guy, besides him just gave a full body nod that was somehow endearing.
"What the hell did we just walk in on?" I hear Megs ask from the cliff behind us.
"I'll explain later, sea urchin!" I rumble turning us around "These guys are friendly! Do you have the finger?"
"Right here!" Junpei skips over and gives it to us as if it was burning him.
"As a sign of good will, I'll let you have this piece of my soul!" I say to the two brothers "But you gotta tell me your names first!"
"Does this normally happen?" I hear Junpei whisper to the other two.
"No," Megs answers curtly.
"This is as out of the ordinary as it gets," Nobara adds.
"I'm Kechizu!" The green one says "and my older brother is Eso!"
"What about your elder brother?" I ask hovering the finger over Eso's waiting hand.
"Choso!" He answers eagerly.
I nod with a smile at that, finally handing over the piece of soul I desperately wanted to reunite with.
"Give him our regards. Until next time, I'll keep your little brother safe!"
As they left I let Yuji do all the movement work again, but still stayed up front, ready for my verbal (and possibly physical) smack down.
"I am so confused!" Yuji said in a tired tone.
The other three just nodded in a agreement, eyeing us intently. Then Megumi frowned.
"Ok, so, those two are somehow, your brothers, I got that part," Yuji nods at the teen's words "but why hand over the finger?"
"It's a calculated risk as much as it is a gamble," I tell him "I'm confident it will pan out in our favor but if it somehow doesn't I will personally rectify that mistake!"
"Tch, stupid Sukuna!" Nobara just spits out "Never telling us any of your plans! Are we just puppets to you?"
I could tell she was just being sarcastic, but that last question stung a little.
"Hey that's my line!" I say , trying to break the sudden tension, then muttered softly "you are no puppets. But I don't think these things through before the moment they happen, so I'm sorry for dragging all of you into my fucking around and finding out. You especially, Yuji!"
"At least you warned me this time, so I don't mind" Yuji says, giving me a mental shoulder squeeze.
"As Nobara said, we're a team now, can't exactly be helped," Megumi just waved a hand and Junpei nodded "Come on, let's get a midnight snack, my treat!"
"Hell yes, I'm starving after all that!" Nobara shouted
Junpei just shook his head and smiled at the two, then bumped his shoulder with us as we made our way from under that bridge.
Multiple deaths avoided. Fabulous!

We got fanart at the end, let's gooooo
Nobara and Megumi were sat down on the couch in Gojo's office with the second years (bar Yuta) scattered around perched on whatever space available.
"So I bet you were all wondering why I've gathered you here today~!"
"Is this about the exchange event?" Maki asks unimpressed.
"Hmm yes and no, my dear student!" The man answers frustratingly vague "I'd like you to meet Junpei-Kun, your new first year!"
Gojo pulled the poor kid out the closet of all places, but then I remember where me and Yuji are and I decide I probably don't have the right to judge.
"So you're trying to replace Yuji now, eh?!" Nobara shouted enraged. Pop off, queen! I'm sure you're gonna scream at us too.
"What?! No!" Gojo backpaddles "Matter of fact, come out Yuji-kun!"
I grin wide as Yuji kicks out the grill and drops down from the vents.
"Hi!" The little shit waves enthusiastically, radiating pure innocence.
I scoff and borrow deep into my domain as both Nobara and Megumi smacked the kid over the head.
"How are you alive?!" Megumi asked, shaking Yuji by the shoulders.
"And why didn't you tell us sooner?!" Adds Nobara.
The second years just snickered in the background as Yuji was getting bombarded by the two first years.
"Junpei help meee~!" The kid pleaded but the dark haired boy was smart and choose life.
"You dug this grave yourself, Yuji-kun, sorry!"
As the kids were bickering I dare surface once more, making my presence known to the current audience. I gently prod Yoru to go out there and I survey the room to see everyone's tense forms. (With the sole exception of Satoru Gojo and Junpei Yoshino, of course!)
Yoru manifests in her starlit form, reaching up to my knees. She has her ears pinned and slowly went to rub herself by Megumi's feet in apology.
"She says sorry for trying to hurt you back at the detention center!" I say, seemlessly switching with Yuji "and I'm sorry for giving you that scare too. You shouldn't have had to watch your friend basically die because of me! Either of you!"
"Damn right we shouldn't have!" Nobara smacked me as well. "Why did you even do that?! Potato head trusted you!"
"Ah, not my brightest moment I'll admit!" I say, rubbing the back of my neck "I was thinking of a solution that would help us on all fronts and forgot to take into consideration people's feeling. I'm really sorry about that!"
Megumi narrowed his eyes and simply picked up Yoru from the ground. He gave me a scrutinizing look and I got the strangest sense of deja vu.
"Only you would do something so stupid," he muttered, then turned to the cat "oddly enough I'm not actually mad at you, so you get away scott free I suppose."
"Of course she is!" Gojo purrs "Isn't she just a charmer!"
"So, now we've got two other sorcerers, a cursed cat and an ancient calamity on our side for the exchange event?" Panda asks, looking at us with beady eyes.
"I like those odds!" Maki grins "But don't think we're not keeping an eye on you, Sukuna!"
"Salmon salmon!" Inumaki agrees.
"Wouldn't dream of it!" I bark out, hyped for this.
"Now, how about we get this show on the road!" Me and Yuji say, as if one.
"Woah, that was weird!" Yuji flinches back and everyone else gave him a worried look.
'Tell me about it!'
The forest of Jujutsu High rustled around us, reminding me of every time me and Yuji sparred in my domain. This time however it was a whole lot of us versus a whole lot of them. I have never been one to half-ass shenanigans though, so Kyoto give us your worst!
The moment the start was called we bolted through the forest, straight for the nearest curses. We had a disgusting advantage in the form of my little soul radar, which ment we scored about 20 different curses in just under five minutes.
When we finally split off we stick to the plan and me and Yuji go for Aoi Todo. How the hell a teenager got that kinda muscle, I have no clue.
We're lucky Yuji practiced how to take a punch cause while we got thrown around like crazy, we've got no broken bones and nothing bleeding. It's when we get knocked into a tree that Todo seems to have gotten bored, but his interest was immediately piqued again as Yuji jumped back to his feet.
"Hey, why'd you pound my head like that?!" Yuji asks in faux anger "You coulda made me dumber!"
'You ain't dumb, bro. Relax.'
"Hah, don't worry, Takada says dumb guys are perfect!"
"Mhmm, is that why you're missing half your smarts?" I bait him just to see him frown at my presence "You just got yourself a three-for-one pack! Domain Expansion: Stars' Garden!"
"Hah! You play dirty, King of Curses!" The teen says "The curse, the vessel and a shikigami!"
"Nobody smart ever plays fair, Aoi Todo!" Yuji argues with a grin, taking a defensive position.
"Couldn't have said it better!" I make sure to channel my inner Keiji and and reassure the kid as much as I could.
"You know my name yet I do not know yours! Say, what do they call you, first year?"
Me and Yoru kinda just eye each other and I'm barely holding onto a hysterical fit of laughter. This bitch is ignoring us.
"Name's Yuji Itadori!"
"Well, Yuji Itadori, I have one question for you," I'm already looking up at the sky, searching for whatever God made me agree to help fight this dude "What kind of women are you into?"
'Yoru, save me.' I plead to her. 'The prophecy did not foretell this bullshit!'
'Mrrrp,' she responded as she just sat down hunched to watch the two dumbasses duke it out.
'Mood' I say as I lean on her shoulder
"I like tall girls with big butts!"
'You think they'll take long?'
Yoru gave me her best 'are you serious?' look then jestured with a paw towards Todo's frozen form.
'Yeah, you're right!' I agree 'Stupid question, my bad!'
I survey the area and sense that the Kyoto students are still a healthy distance away. They should've ambushed us by now, what's going on- oh there's Megs bringing down that witch wannabe.
"Yo!" I raise a hand in greeting, as the teen merely stepped over the trembling girl.
"I think you broke our opponents," he tells me, coming to sit shoulder to shoulder with me.
"Yeah, besides the wall of muscle over there nobody seems too eager to come over," I grunt "Did you hope knocking down genderbent Draco Malfoy would spur them to action?"
"Not really. I just had this feeling " he starts, rubbing his chest right over his heart "that we really shouldn't be separated right now."
"Aww, were you concerned about us?"
"I guess-"
"King of Curses!" Todo suddenly turns to us, having Yuji in a chokehold "What about you? What women are you into!"
"Uh," I stammer, taken aback "none?"
The teen frowns at that, already gearing up for a rant, but I cut him off before he could even start.
"Before you start spewing something embarrasing, has it crossed your mind that maybe, maybe, I'M NOT INTO WOMEN?!"
"Your type in men is fine too! I don't discriminate!" The teen says, giving me a crisp thumbs up.
"No. Dude, the problem is with the question itself." I pinch my nosebridge in frustration "I don't have a type because I'm not into people."
"... Animals?"
"Ew, no. That's bad. Both illegal and unethical. Just- no." I deadpan. I'm the King of Curses, not a weirdo, thank you very much!
"Um..."
"... I don't know, man, does the concept of the forest count?"
"I... Don't think so?"
"Ugh... Fine, i guess Megs if I really had to pick." No way in hell was I going to tell this guy about my Suguru Geto obsession. That man shall remain fictional to me until Shibuya.
"Why me?!" Megumi asks outraged.
"I don't fucking know, shadow the hedgehog! You're just easier to tolerate than any other man I know!"
"I thought we agreed we'd never even consider ever dating each other!"
"When the fuck did we agree to that?"
"I- don't know actually..."
"You have horrible taste, Sukuna!" Todo says flatly
"Pff, kiss my ass, you nutjob. I have mighy fine taste, mind you" I scoff "Yoru, he's all yours! Take care of Yuji!"
The cat rams into Todo and the kid was finally able to get out of the head lock.
"You got this, kid!" I shout, than turn to Megs "C'mon, they'll never act with me here!"
It didn't take long for Nue to get us above the area. It was pretty easy to spot Hanami from so high up.
In the observation room, a one-sided battle was occuring, right after Stars' Garden settled over the area.
"SATORU GOJO, LET US OUT OF THIS ROOM RIGHT NOW!"
"Hmm, no~!"
"THAT DEMON IS GONNA KILL ALL THE KIDS!"
"He really won't- can you stop throwing chairs at me, Utahime?"
"I'M GONNA PUT YOU IN THE GRAVE MYSELF!"
"Now that's a bit extreme! How about-"
"WE SHOULD'VE EXECUTED THAT VESSEL THE FIRST CHANCE WE GOT!"
"What did you just say?" Gojo asked, going eerily still.
"Wha-?"
"I think you fucked up, Utahime, dear!" Meimei purred, sipping her tea.
A veil started forming above our fighting area and Megumi just eyed it cautiously as I surveyed the land.
"Hey Megs, drop me off over there!" I point towards the general direction of Hanami. "Then go deal with the local blood bender!"
"I'll drop you off, but I can't really bring myself to leave you."
I turn to look him in the eye and I was met only with genuine concern.
"Still that weird feeling?" He nods, dejected, then I say in mock disgust "Ugh, stop looking at me with those eyes!"
"What eyes?"
"Those depthless pools of blue!" I respond "Gives me the hibbie jibbies!"
"I... My eyes are green?"
"... We should get going, there's time to address that later!" Both the eyes and that weird feeling must be caused by Stars' Garden. Megs might just be a softie at heart after all.
"Yeah, you're right. Let's go!" He says without hesitation, guiding Nue into a dive.
I send out a dismantle towards the special grade curse before we even touched down.
"LET'S RAISE HELL, SHALL WE?"
Within moments the forest was ablaze and halfway razed to the ground. Megumi was always in my shadow, ready to bite, but out of my line of fire. Hanami was getting worn out fast.
"There's that concept of the forest!" Megumi called out and I'm confused for a moment "You can now tell that oaf to go fuck himself!"
"Now you're speaking my language!" I respond with an unhinged grin.
I could feel a manic cackle rip out of my throat as I went up and personal with Hanami. Shrine was good at offense and Stars' worked well with Megumi's Ten Shadows, but nothing compared to the sick satisfaction of sinking your claws into a curse and seeing them realize they were never the hunter, but the hunted.
"Sukuna!" I hear Yuji shout as I ripped one of Hanami's horn things in one clean swipe.
"WHAT?!" I snarl out, still caught up in the thrill of the fight. I figure Yuji must've only heard a feral bark from me by the way he violently flinched back, nearly knocking Yoru off his shoulders.
"Fuuuuck! MEGS!" I growl out for the teen to step in and back up to cool off.
"Are you ok?" Yuji asks concerned and Todo eyes me wearily from his other side.
"Yeah, things just got a bit heated!" I reassure, trying to keep the growling to a minimum. "What did ya need?"
"Oh, Todo was teaching me this technique and we wanted to see if we can use it to finish off here?" He asked, visibly relaxing at my friendlier attitude.
"Sure ya can! MEGS WE'RE DONE HERE!" I shout at him, grabbing Yoru and already wrapping shadow tendrils around the teen, pulling him towards myself "We have business in other places!"
"I HAD THAT! I JUST FUCKING HAD THAT! " He shrieks in my ear as I dragged him along.
"Course you did!" I tell the teen, the turn to the other two "Good luck with that, ya two!"
As soon as they were out of sight the veil induced night cracked open, and the curtain fell away, revealing Gojo just floating above us, making me scoff. Show off.
I feel several souls cross into my domain, making quick work of the curses and curse users here. Suddenly the ground was shaking and light got sucked out as if readying for a supernova.
...Hollow motherfucking Purple.
I grab onto Megumi and throw him as far as I can (which is quite a way, hope he can summon Nue in time) and I drop my domain just as the blast was about to hit me.
The snap back wasn't as bad as last time and thankfully I was holding tight onto the cat. We are not repeating the detention center incident.
Thank you to that one person in the SIkuna Discord server for this awesome drawing from part 9! I freaking love it so much ✨✨✨
(I included both photos cause I think one shows the true colors and the other shows how the lighting in the domain works)

Part 1 | Part 10 / Part 11 / Part 12
Have some Yoru art for this part because I've only described her as a shadow so far (yes, she's is just the little mascot for my account but in the jjk universe)
The kids have bonded over gross movies. Just my luck honestly. I'm not really interested in whatever the hell a 'human earth worm' is and I don't even want to know what that is at this point.
I'm saved from having to listen to their rambles by Junpei's mom of all people.
"Huh? Junpei?" She asks, probably surprised that he's actually conversing with someone. "Is this a friend?"
And that's how we ended up eating dinner at the kid's house.
Junpei's drunk mom was very boisterous, kinda reminded me of Asahi whenever Keiji actually got him to drink. Yuji and Junpei got along like a house on fire, joking and laughing and making movie references. I didn't catch most of them but it was nice to see the light atmosphere.
When it was time to go I gently urged Yoru to hide out in the shadows of the house.
'Guard them girl! If you can snatch up the finger, all the better, but your main objective is to stay alive and keep these two safe!' I tell her softly, making sure Yuji wouldn't overhear.
'Mrp!' Yoru answers eagerly, slipping into the shadow, leaving no trace that she was there at all.
The window cranked open as a lean figure made their way into the Yoshino household. Manic giggling escaped the special grade curse as they were about to place one of Sukuna's fingers in front of Nagi Yoshino's sleeping form.
From the dark a low growl could be heard as five glowing eyes settled on the hunched form of Mahito.
"Oh? And what are you?" The curse asked, completely undeterred by Yoru's hostility.
The cat just hissed and grew large enough to occupy half the kitchen, leaning protectively over the woman.
"You can manipulate your soul as well?" Mahito asked with a manic glimmer in his eyes "Fascinating!"
"Huh? What's going on?" Junpei's mom finally woke up.
That's when Yoru lunged at the curse, maw open. She tried to crush his skull in one fell swoop, but Mahito pulled back in time and touched the cat's neck. Yoru simply turned around, putting herself between the curse and the woman once more.
"You're not even affected by idle transfiguration!" Mahito shouted with a crazed grin.
It's that moment Nagi Yoshino must've decided that this is most definitely not a dream and started yelling.
"Now, now! None of that!" Mahito chastised and lunged for the woman. Before he could make contact, Yoru used her tail to push the woman out of the way and swiped her claws along the curse's side. The gash closed almost instantly and Mahito was just grinning like a manic.
"I can't hurt you and you can't hurt me!" He shrieked amused "We could go at it all night!"
"Mahito?" Junpei asked in the doorway, evidently confused after being woken up by all the ruckus.
"Junpei!" The curse greeted "I'm so glad you're up! Someone must've left this cursed object here and it attracted this malevolent curse!"
Mahito waved the finger around and Yoru locked in on his every movement.
"You're so lucky I was around to help your mom!"
Yoru just looked at him with a deadpan, already tired of the curse's manipulation.
"Junpei? What's going on? What is this?" The woman asked from against the counter where she was thrown.
"That's a curse, mom! Get away from it, Mahito will help us get rid of it!"
Before the woman could move though, one of Yoru's paws was gently placed on her head healing any bruises she might've gotten. In the meantime the cat merely narrowed her eyes at Mahito, studying the gap between the curse and the kid.
"Did you just heal me?" The woman asked confused, but relaxing "Aren't you supposed to be a curse?"
"Oh well!" Mahito finally dropped the act "At least I tried!"
At the same time Mahito lunged for Junpei, Yoru launched herself at the curse and a loud crash could be heard from the window.
Yuji was pleading with Namami to take him with the next time the man decides to hunt down the curse he fought when I felt it.
'Hey kid,' I start, already aware the kid ain't gonna like this 'we may or may not have left Yoru at Junpei's!'
'Are you serious right now?!'
'Dead,' I say, then add 'We should go, I think she's fighting Namami's curse!'
"What?!"
Nanami raises an eyebrow at the sudden outburst, but Yuji is undeterred by it.
"Nanamin! We need to go!" The kid urges the sorcerer.
"And why's that?" The man asks, already following the kid.
"Sukuna says our cat is fighting that special grade at Junpei's house!" The kid answers, already frantic.
"You do realize how absurd that sounds, right?" The man asks, but to his credit he doesn't stop following "He could be lying, why are you listening to him?"
"Dude, why would I lie about this?" I growl out "What do I stand to gain from doing that? Is there an angle to this I'm not aware of?!"
When the kid's house was finally in sight Yuji sped up, far outrunning Nanami and crashing through the window without stopping in the slightest.
"JUNPEI!" Yuji called out.
We were too late.
The kid was already twisted in that curse like appearance. Yoru had her fangs deep into Mahito's torso and started shaking him and beating him up against the walls. The curse just laughed as Junpei charged Yuji and no matter what I tried to say to him he refused to harm the kid.
'Please, Sukuna, can't you heal him?' Yuji asked, voice strained.
'RCT can't heal souls kid!' I shout, desperately trying to take over 'Fight back, damn it!'
'At least try, please!' the kid begged. 'I'll do anything!'
'It's not that I won't, I CAN'T HEAL HIM!' I shout, uselessly grappling for control to get us to safety.
That's when Namami finally entered the scene, a furious look on his face.
'Yoru, pass the curse to Namami!'
The cat does as told then comes up to us, using a paw to pin Junpei down and trying to use RCT on him.
"Ohohohooo! Looks like my time here is up!" Mahito cackles avoiding Namami and jumping through the window "Until next time!"
The sorcerer hesitates for a moment, probably wanting to give chase to the fucker, then turns to the kid's mother, who was still frozen in shock.
'You really can't do anything, Kuna?' the kid asks defeated, sliding down the wall.
'I don't even know what I could try,' I say, watching Yoru stomp her free paws in frustration, spreading sparks of starlight around 'Unless...'
As if sensing my intent, the kid finally let me take over and I quickly laid out Stars' Garden. Within moments Yoru's RCT started taking effect and Junpei was slowly morphing back into his original body.
"Go grab some blankets!" I shout to Yuji as I dive to push my own RCT in order to help.
Namami looked at me and Yoru with great distrust, but by the time Yuji came back Junpei was as good as new. Physically at least.
"Everything hurts..." The kid mumbles as I wrap a blanket around him.
"I know, dude. That's what you get for fucking around the monkeys of another circus!"
"Yuji?" He asks me after a moment of staring.
"Nah, I'm Yuji's evil twin, Sukuna! Yuji's over there," I say pointing towards where Yuji was helping Namami with the kid's mom.
"Mahito lied to me..." Womp womp, you shouldn't have fucked with that evil bitch. Couldn't you catch the weird vibes?
"Yeah, I'm not really surprised. Look at the bright side though, you're still alive, which means we can fuck him up, jujutsu style!" I tell him with a sharp grin.
"Do you even care about this, beyond the violence?" Nanami asked, readying his weapon.
"Way too much for my own well being, I would say!" I say in an aggressively sweet tone "I refuse to let them strip away my humanity! I'll care as much as I'll fucking want to, because to not care is the biggest curse of all, I believe!"
Nanami seems taken aback (or as taken aback as Nanami can get), but he doesn't prod any further.
"Maybe we should get them to Ieiri-san?" Yuji asks trying to break the tension.
"You're probably right, Itadori," Nanami agreed and that was that.
"Sooo~? How did Yuji-kun do?" Goji asked, leaning into Nanami's personal space.
"He did adequately," the man answered pushing the other away "Say, did you know Sukuna could summon a domain that allows him to have a corporeal form?"
"Hmm, Megumi did mention that after the detention center, yes! Though he never described Sukuna in detail!"
"He looks young," Nanami answers begrudgingly "and very similar to Itadori. If I didn't know any better I'd say they were brothers!"
"I mean, ignoring the time he was sealed, Sukuna is just 17, so you wouldn't be far off!" Gojo chuckled.
"He's- he's a child?!" The blonde whips to the man besides him.
"Pretty much!"
"Hmm, I can't even imagine how many adults must've failed him to turn out like that..."
"Yeah... Heian era must've been brutal..."
"Right, so we introduce Junpei here as a new student," Gojo said excitedly, resting his hands on the kid's shoulders. "Then you get out of the box and bam, they'll be so happy you're alive!"
"Bro, we are not doing that!" I growl. Once a dumbass, always a dumbass, Keiji's reincarnation or not.
"Why not?" He whines "Yuji-kun agrees with me!"
"If Yuji agrees with you then I'll kick his ass!" I warn before my vessel could say anything "Megs and Kugisaki are you're friends, kid, you can't do that to them. They deserve more respect than that!"
"I'll have to agree with Sukuna, Gojo-sensei," Junpei chimes in timidly.
Thank you, emo child, for having common sense.
"Yeah, I'm with Kuna as well," Yuji also agrees "Sorry, sensei!"
"Hmph, you three are no fun!" The man pouts "Fine, I'll call them to my office and tell them then!"
"That's more like it!" I say with satisfaction.
"Does this mean I get more Yoru time?" Gojo asks, looking over his glasses with the best puppy eyes he's got.
"Yeah, yeah, Stupid Sugawara!"
"Yesss!"

Part 1 | Part 9 / Part 10 / Part 11
Shout out to that one guy in my AO3 comments for clocking the plot of this part. I genuinely thought I posted it early by accident.
Over the next few days Yuji kept watching old movies and training with that God forsaken doll. The human paintbrush would occasionally join us and I would do my best to remain in the confines of my innate domain in those instances.
Infinity still worked against Yuji, as proven by their sparring (Yuji did land a few good hits on Gojo though, so I'm very proud about that). For some reason it was only when I was out that infinity decided to malfunction.
Is it possible that Keiji might've been right about the soul reincarnation theory. Would Gojo be able to remember me from all those lifetimes ago, even subconsciously? Is that why infinity lets me through?
...Fuck, does that mean that Keiji is Gojo now?! Have I really been slandering on the reincarnation of my homeboy?!
I groan and curl up around Yoru who had a smug little look on her face as if she already came to that conclusion way before me. Cryptic little shit. Wish I could know what's going on in the brain of yours.
"Sooo~" Gojo's voice breaks me out of my thoughts as he sat down besides Yuji "I finally got around to talking to Megumi!"
"Oh?" Yuji asks, turning from the romcom that was playing "What about?"
"The detention center mission!" He says all ominous, then leans in conspiratorially "Why did Sukuna hiss and try to bite him?"
"What are you talking about?" The kid leans in as well "Both me Sukuna were stuck inside. It was Yoru attacking Fushiguro."
"Oh... Who's that?"
Rolling my eyes I send Yuji the mental image on how to summon the cat, and within seconds she was all over Gojo, purring loudly.
"Well hello!" He coos at her "Where did you come from?"
"Sukuna thinks her soul got tied to his when he was sealed," Yuji explains "Though he didn't mention how."
Gojo continues to pet the cat absentmindedly as he narrowed his eyes at Yuji. The kid squirmed a bit under his gaze and I figured the man must be using Six Eyes.
"And why isn't out resident King of Curses telling me this himself?" Gojo asks teasingly "Is he too embarrassed that he got overthrown by a cat? Or did he finally get bored of us peasants?"
'Yoru, slap him.'
"Yoru, no." Yuji goes to grab the cat as she started lightly tapping Gojo's forehead.
Suddenly Six Eyes were on me as their user batted at my vessels hands and held Yoru closer.
"There you are!" He says as I recoil deep into my domain "Why are you so skittish all of a sudden?"
'Sukuna?' Yuji asks concerned, trying to gently pull me back to the surface.
Just as Yuji was able suppress me, he could also force me to surface. He seemed to realize I was powerless against him no matter how I struggled and looked up at Gojo.
"Should I switch with him, Sensei?" Yuji asked and I could feel my heart drop.
"Does he want to switch?" The man asks, leaning back.
"Not really." Understatement of the millennium.
"Give us 20 minutes, yeah?" Gojo says after a bit.
The kid doesn't even confirm, just pushes me to the forefront before I even have time to protest. Piercing blue eyes stare down at me and I feel like a dear caught in the headlights.
"What do you want?" I put on my best impression of a scowl.
"To ask you a few questions," he says pushing Yoru into my trembling hands.
"You can ask, but don't expect me to answer!" I growl, but the intimidation factor is lost as I bury my face into soft night-sky fur.
"I looked through some old clan records," he says softly.
"That's not a question, stupid Sugawara."
"No, it's not," he agrees "this one is though. You and Keiji Sugawara were close, weren't you?"
I huff, turning my head the other way. I'd much rather not think what that closeness led to.
"Hmm, I'll take that as a yes"
I tense up as I feel fingers carding through my hair.
"Is this why you're so afraid that infinity isn't working against you? Because you somehow got him killed?"
I turn to glare at him at that, pupils nothing more than slits. I wanted to say something, whether to defend myself or to dig my own grave, I didn't know. My throat was closing up and I could barely breathe with how hard I was choking on the urge to break down crying.
"Did you mean for him to die?"
"No!" I manage a strangled whisper "Never!"
I squeeze Yoru closer, but then I send her back to the domain out of fear of hurting her. At least Yuji won't be alone there anymore.
"Then what makes you think you'd hurt me?" He asks, gripping my chin and forcing me to look at him.
"You don't get it!" My voice finally cracks and tears are falling freely "It's my fault half the clan died that night! If I'd just kept my mouth shut when it mattered none of it would've happened!"
I try to push him off, but without much success. He just pulled me in, tucked my head under his chin and let me cry my heart out.
"It wasn't your fault," he says resolutely.
"But-"
"It. Was not. Your fault!" He emphasizes, leaning back to look at me "You were a kid. Still are. You couldn't have known any better!"
But I did, didn't I? I knew Kenjaku was dangerous and still went ahead and fucked it up because I thought myself the strongest.
"Weren't you the one that said that even the best of us make mistakes? Sure, all went to shit, but take what happened and learn from it. Don't let what happened back then repeat!"
His words just make me sob harder, but in my mind Shibuya flashed like a warning sign. I will not let that fucker mess with my friends and family a second time. He'll be dead and buried before he lays a finger on anyone else.
"There's that determined look I love to see!" Gojo ruffles my hair, then smiles gently "If it counts for anything, I forgive you!"
"What?" I manage to choke out, eyes wide as saucers.
"I'm sure Keiji didn't blame you. Nor did any other Sugawara that actually knew you. But if it puts your mind at ease, in the name of the Sugawara and Gojo clan, I forgive you! "
I don't remember much after that, just a lot of sobbing and Gojo holding me as I calmed down little by little. It reminded me of stormy nights back at the compound when I would huddle up with Keiji under the pretence that it was cold. It felt nice.
By the time Yuji came back I was already half dead to the world and it didn't take much for me to slip into the little shrine in my domain and let sleep take me.
"This is Kento Namami! Dropout office worker turned sorcerer!"
"Don't ever call me that again."
So this is what I wake up to now? How long have I been slept anyway? Wait, hold up people are talking.
"... Jujutsu sorcerers are shit!" Couldn't agree more, Namami. "And what I realized at the office is that working is also shit!"
I feel like I hit the jackpot with this one. This man's opinions are single handedly raising my morale right now.
"So I choose the lesser of the two evils," Namami wrapped up his speech "Nothing more, nothing less."
I'm starting to think this is gonna be an actually good mission, I'm so ready for this.
"-Prove to me that you can be useful, in spite of the demon Sukuna inside you." 'Scuse me?!
I barely registered Gojo cringing behind Namami when I feel Yuji surpress me just as I was about to give that bastard a piece of my mind. My boy Yuji, doesn't have to prove jack shit to you.
"I'm week and useless. I've been hearing a lot of that these days."
'FROM FUCKING WHO?! I'LL REMOVE THEIR KNEECAP PRIVILEGES!'
'The feeling is appreciated Sukuna, but no need,' the kid sweatdrops.
It didn't take long for us to be back at exorcising cursed. Or, well, whatever these things Mahito is making are. Their souls a twisted and bent, making it painful to even look at them. Killing them is for sure the kindest fate we can offer right now.
I do my best to let Yuji handle most of the mission alone. The early stages are mostly normal jujutsu stuff so it's a good experience. It's really only Mahito I'm worried about.
"So we just bait this Junpei kid with the curse and see how he reacts?" Yuji asks Ijichi, studying the little cage.
"Pretty much."
'If anything goes wrong you'll back me up, right Kuna?' he turns to me with the mental image of puppy eyes.
'You really shouldn't rely on me this much,' I sigh 'but yeah, I got you covered, kid.'
'You're barely two years older than me!'
'Am I though?' I tease back and he just groans.
I the following minutes after leaving the car Yuji proceeded to pull of some of the finest tomfoolery I've seen in all my lives. Bro just stole a man's pants, I respect the dedication.
"Right, let's gooo!" This kid invented nonchalance, I swear.
"You didn't have to do that!" Junpei says all bashful "You could've just dragged me away."
"I mean, yeah," Yuji scratched the back of his neck "but you didn't seem to like him very much!"
"No, I don't," The kid says, averting his eyes.
"Then you probably don't want them around your house either!"
"Yeah!"
If I had a nickel for every time Yuji befriended an emo child, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but how the hell did he manage that?
The two end up talking about movies and what not. Considering I'm nearly parallel with cinematography I decide to just stand guard instead, making sure no unwanted attention is on the two.
That is when I feel the distinct presence of the bitch that destroyed everything near and dear to me.
'Yoru, on him!'
My brave girl didn't hesitate to climb up the passage and start chasing after the hooded man. Motherfucker started running like the grim reaper was behind him. Whatever Yoru did to him before our death, Kenny sure must hate cats with a passion now to run like that.
'Kuna, what the hell was that?'
My only answer was manic laughter as I felt just the tiniest bit avenged. Can't wait to put that guy six feet under though. That will be one hell of a day.
Note: I just wanted to write about SIkuna throwing down with Mahito... So tell me why I ended up with 1k of him having a breakdown because of Gojo instead

Art at the end, and as always, enjoy!
"YOU TRAITOR!"
Suddenly my head is under water and I can feel Yuji keeping me under by the neck, but all I could truly hear was Asahi's twisted voice screaming at me as the smoke at the Sugawara compound choked me up.
I trash wildly, fighting for air, but with each mouthful of water my vision was going darker and my limbs lost strength, as the burn in my lungs intensified.
Did in by my own domain. What a way to go...
Just as I was about to pass out Yuji grabbed my collar and threw me back onto the shore. As I was throwing up water and catching my breath, I could hear Yoru hiss and growl at the kid.
"Yoru, enough!" I rasp out, breathing heavily.
"Why did you kill us?" Yuji asked with as much vitriol his pure soul can muster.
"I didn't," I gasp out "You think we'd still be talking if we were dead?"
"What do you mean?" He asks, eyebrows furrowing in confusion.
"I died before, you know? As I became a curse object," I push my self into a sitting position, facing the kid "I know what that's like. We're not dead, just asleep."
"Then why did you rip out my heart?" He asked, all venom replaced with confusion.
"I wanted to shut down the body so Yoru would give up control. That just seemed the quickest way," I tell him while petting the cat "Plus it has some other pros as well!"
"Pff- what pros could missing a heart have?"
"They sent us on a suicide misson, no? Can't do that again if they think we're dead!"
"True," he collapses besides me, all anger seemingly forgotten "but you should've run that plan by me first. It's my body after all."
"You're right. I apologize!" I dip my head.
"I'm sorry too... Uh, for trying to drown you. Not my brightest moment."
"Don't worry about it," I reach out and ruffle his hair "As I see it, that just makes us even."
"So, what now?" He says after a bit.
"We wait until the body's in a safe space and I just grow us back a heart."
"You can just do that?"
"Yep."
"Cool."
We sit in silence for a while, watching the shifting lights of the domain.
"...How do we know when we're safe?"
"If you pay attention you can still hear the stuff going on outside."
"Huh," the kid tilts his head, listening intently "You're right!"
"C'mon, I wanna show you something." I say, urging him to get up.
We walk that familiar trail between the trees and we arrive at the little shrine that's becoming my sanctuary when I want to fully tune out the outside world.
"It should be more comfortable here."
We crash into the nest like structure, still keeping an ear out for the outside world. I decided that maybe I should mention binding vows while we're here and I proceeded to bore Yuji into a nap while talking about them.
I watch his chest rise and fall, I'm sink with the roof of my domain, then sigh in exhaustion.
"This is exactly why I want to act indifferent," I whisper to him, brushing a few strands of hair from his forehead "It's easier to pretend you don't care, than to lay out your heart and have it broken by your own mistakes..."
With Yuji asleep and Yoru purring loudly next to him, there wasn't much left to do. My heart was finally beating at a normal pace for the first time since I returned to my domain and that icy feeling creeping up my spine finally subsided, allowing me to freely breath again.
After a few deep breaths to steady myself I decided to fully tune in to what was going on outside. That's when I felt the cold tip of a scalpel. I bolted upright, griping the wrist of the woman that just tried to dissect me.
"H-h-he's alive!" Ijichi shouted somewhere on the side.
"Seriously," I rasp out, turning to Gojo who was smiling wide "give that man a raise, he deals with way to much bullshit from the rest of us!"
"Sure, I can do that!" He drawls, then adds with far less hostility then I've come to expect of him "Let go of dear Shoko first, though!"
"Ah, sorry!" I quickly let go of her and tuck my hands into my lap. That's when I realized that there's only a thin sheet between me and public indecency.
"Oh, mama, we're naked!" My gaze shoots up at the ceiling and I can hear that blue eyed rat wheezing like a kettle besides me.
'Yuji, my guy, wake up! Come and reclaim what's rightfully yours!'
'Huh? Oh, right!' the kid is quick to switch and I'm immediately blocking off any visual imput. "Sorry about that, Kuna!"
"Welcome back, Yuji-kun~!" Gojo goes for a high five.
"Yo! It's good to be back!" Yuji goes for it as well.
Right, I think it's my turn to clock out. God I hope Gojo has some actually good movies in that basement of his.
"Yuji-kun~" Gojo started as him and the teen were making their way towards his house "is Sukuna eavesdropping right now?"
"Hmm, no. He's been dead asleep since we switched."
"Good! Has he tried to make any deals with you?"
"No. Not now and not before this either," Yuji answers honestly "He did tell me about binding vows, though, and tried to explain how to not get caught up in the wording."
"Huh!" The white haired man let his surprise show "That's unexpected of him."
"How so? He's been doing stuff like this since I became his vessel."
"Really? He's just been teaching you about jujutsu?"
"Yeah?" Yuji answers apprehensively "When he's not sleeping, that is."
"Is he asleep a lot?" Gojo tried to make it sound mocking, but the concern is visible.
"Yeah... I don't think he's feeling too well most of the time..."
"He seemed pretty jittery when you guys came back... Maybe keep an eye on him for a bit, yeah?" The man said softly, then quickly added "We don't want him to snap of anything!"
"Yeah, the jitters might've been the whole trying to drown him in his own domain thing," Yuji voice cracked a bit.
"And... He didn't retaliate?"
"No, just called us even for ripping out my heart," the teen said "I'm really sorry I did that, he looked really scared when I pulled him out of the water..."
"Well if he says it's fine, than it probably is," Gojo starts "I think your reaction was valid, considering the circumstances, but try not to let your emotions get the better of you!"
"Yes, Sensei!"
I wake up to the soft buzz of the TV. There was some old movie playing on low volume and I could feel Yuji slowy losing his battle with sleep.
I could hear soft footsteps approaching as I was left alone in the driver seat. In that same moment my ears started ringing as a brutal force hit me on the side of my head. I was stunned for a few seconds and as the ringing subsided I caught fluffy white hair out of the corner of my eye.
"Keiji...?" I ask, heart in my throat.
"Wow~!" Gojo's distinct voice cut through the leftover static "That thing really did a number on you if you can't even recognize me!"
I tried to put some distance between us, a grimace disguised as a scowl plastered on my face, but all that achieved was to have me tumble between the couch and coffee table.
The rat just chuckles and rounds the couch to give me a hand. I glare at him and swipe at his hand like a pissed off cat. To my surprise I actually nick him and I can see a droplet of blood drip from the wound before it closed.
"Please tell me I got lucky and your infinity was just down!" I stare in shock at his hand.
"As a matter of fact, no," he seems just as taken aback by the predicament "And I never told you about infinity either..."
We stare at each other for a few moments, then I avert my gaze and robotically get up.
"Weren't you heading somewhere? You should get going," I say, already desperate to put some distance between us "I'll get the kid to bed."
"Who's Keiji, Sukuna?" He asks betraying no emotion and I stop in my tracks.
"...You should check your records, Sugawara. You seemed to think they held all answers just a few days ago. Good night!"
I leave him without waiting for a reply, all but sprinting towards the kid's room. I lay in his bed for the next hour until my heart stopped doing somersaults and as I receded back into my domain, I could only hope the kid wouldn't suffer any consequences because of my emotional outburst.
"Yuji-kun over here is gonna be sitting in on today's class!" Gojo's voice wakes me up.
"Oh my- Oi, dumbass wake up!" I give Yuji a good shake and then he's gone.
"Wha- Huh?!" The kid looks around confused, then his eyes land on the curse "HE'S MOUNT FUJI!"
"Right~!" The man chuckles "Lemme teach you about Domain Expansions!"
"YOU'RE JUST GONNA IGNORE ME?!" the curse explodes in anger "I'LL WIPE THAT SMUG LOOK OFF YOUR FACE! DOMAIN EXPANSION: COFFIN OF THE IRON MOUNTAIN!"
A volcanic landscape erupted around them and Yuji took an instinctive step closer to Gojo.
"Don't worry, Yuji-kun!" He pat the kids head in comfort "just stay close, he's pretty weak anyway! Now, what can you tell me about Domain Expansions?"
"Uh, they're basically a representation of someone's soul and you get a bunch of buffs like in video games!"
"... They're actually based off of someone's technique, not the soul, but close enough!" The man corrected.
'And what the hell are cursed techniques based on, you bitch?!' I shout in the safety of my domain, pulling Yoru closer.
I tune out for the rest of the lore dump. I learned all this stuff years ago and there was no fun in just watching. I can't fighting every battle for the kid though, so I focus on petting my cat instead.
"Domain Expansion:" the fuck? "Infinite Void!" I forgot about this part. Face to face with death once more I guess...
Seriously though I don't want infinite knowledge! I'm Sukuna, not D3rLord3!
"We need a fucking adult here!" I tell Yuji aloud, squeezing in the front with him. Seriously, what is that rat thinking, exposing the kid to a domain like this?
"Aren't you, like, a thousand years old?" The kid asks confused.
"Yeah," I growl frustrated "Of which I was concious for 17. We need an adult."
"Wait you're a kid?!" Gojo whips to us so fast I'm afraid he might get whiplash for a moment.
"Well no shit, my guy!" I snarl at him "Thought 'the records' mentioned that!"
"Eh~" the man shrugs "I'm starting to think all my ancestors just didn't like you 90% of the time!"
Not all of them, but sure.
Gojo proceeds to decapitated the stunned curse and drops his domain. Thankfully we're no longer in the middle of the lake, I've already had a bath tonight.
'He's on a whole other level!' Yuji says in awe.
'That he is kid, that he is.'
"Hey you're just two years older than me, how comes you're calling me a kid?!" He pouts suddenly.
"Cause you are?" I say from the kid's hand and I can hear that stupid Sugawara snicker as he goes to pick up the curse's head "If it makes you feel better, you can also call me kid."
Just as the white haired man was about to touch Jojo's head flowers bloomed all around us and Hanami came to rescue her friend. She has my respect for that, not gonna lie.
As Yuji did his best to stay out of harm's way I remember that these two being here probably ment that Kenny was still around and kicking. The thought alone made my skin crawl and the fact I couldn't sense him the entire time made me want to just raze this entire forest until that man is nothing but ash.
'Let's not do that, maybe? That sounds bad.' Yuji interrupts my thoughts, and I have to agree with him. For now, that is.
"Kaayyy, I think we're done here!" The rat chimes in, already grabbing onto us "Let's get ya home~!"
Oh, I hate this method of transportation. I hate it very much.
"Remind me again Satoru, why are you in my office?" Ieiri asks exasperated.
"Because I have to look through some clan records!" The man answer, a bright grin on his face.
"And you can't do that in your own office because?"
"Because it's boring to do it alone!" Gojo whines "Plus, aren't you a little curious about the backstory of our resident King of Curses?"
"Hmm, fine," she sighs, taking a seat next to him. "What are we looking for?"
"We are looking for- " he looks through some papers then points at one of the names "-Keiji Sugawara! The second Six Eyes and Limitless user!"
Ieri whistles at the dates written next to the name.
"He's got history with your clan?"
"Why yes, indeed~!" He drawls "Now I'd like to find out why Sukuna killed this guy," Gojo puts down another file, with a report on the burning of the Sugawara compound "Or if he even did it to begin with!"

Part 1 | Part 7 / Part 8 / Part 9
Inspiration came fast, so have another part!
(art at the bottom)
The grass rustled under our feet as me and Yuji kept trading blows. Sparring like this inside my innate domain has become a bit of a routine these past few days. He'd tell me what I missed while I was asleep and I'd teach him how to fall and not break his face.
The kid throws one more punch at me, leaving himself open so I grab him and throw him to the ground.
"Ugh..." He groans "How are you always winning?"
"Dunno, spite? Experience? Call it whatever."
I reach out a hand and pull him back to his feet in one fluid motion.
"Can't you just pick one?" Yuji scoffs in amusement, getting back into position.
"If I don't decide anything, no one can blame me for the outcome," I Tell him, already swinging.
"Surely that-" he ducks "-can't work-" and swipes at my legs "-all the time!"
I let him have the win, just this once. I go down with a thud and oddly enough nothing actually hurts.
"No," I burst out laughing "it doesn't! It fails most times actually!"
The kid just gives me a look, shaking his head with a grin. I lay there, deciding we've trained enough for one night. Yuji seems to get the memo and he comes to sit besides me. We watch the shoreline for a bit, the water gently coming and going. Then, his soft voice broke the silence.
"Why do you act indifferent then?"
"Your alarm's about to go off," I ignore his question.
"Wha-?"
Just like that, he's gone, woken up by some pop song he set as his alarm.
"How did you do that?!" Yuji asks, positively bamboozled. I did my fair share of waking up at the crack of dawn for school, kid, get with the times.
'It vibrates for a second or two before actually going off.'
"Ah."
He sleeps like the dead, though. It's not like it's gonna be useful information to him.
"Don't think you're off the hook, Sukuna!" The kid shouts, as if I couldn't hear his very thoughts "You're lucky we have a mission today, but you will answer my question!"
'Stop yelling or Megs will beat both our asses!' I dodge again.
Yuji just rolls his eyes and starts getting ready for the day.
We get out of the car right in front of the detention center. Ijichi should really get a promotion, this man is doing a better job at teaching the children about curses than Gojo so far and he's driving us around too. Kudos to you, man.
I zone out for most of the lore dump and opt to tune back in only after Fushiguro summoned his dogs.
'Pet the dog.'
Yuji didn't even question the order, he just reached out a hand to ruffle the fur of the white shikigami.
As we make our way in I can basically feel the curse's domain enveloping us, as if it's very soul stretched out to encompass the entire building.
Not the most flattering expression of a soul, but, eh, to each their own.
"Woah! This is way bigger than on the outside!" My kid looks up in confusion.
I feel the domain shift and cover the space we came from. At the same time Kugisaki started shouting as well.
"The door's gone!"
"Relax. The dog can remember the scent of the door, so we can find it when we leave." Ten Shadows coming in clutch.
'Bestest boy!' I chuckle.
The dog's ears twitched at that and looked at Yuji as if it heard me. Luckily the fluff ball just wagged its tail as both Yuji and Kugisaki went to pet it.
"You're the best, Fushiguro!" Yuji turned to him and I can basically tell the kid has stars in his eyes by Fushiguro's embarrassed expression.
"Let's just keep going!" Ah, a fellow avoidant person. Welcome to getting inevitably attached to my vessel, Megs.
It didn't take long for us to find the gruesome image of the three dead inmates. I don't particularly care about them in all fairness. They're already dead, not much you can do bout that.
I turned my attention to all the souls in the nearby area. Yuji was right besides me as always, Fushiguro was not far behind and Kugisaki was off to the side. Funnily enough, I could also feel the white dog. Despite being an extension of Fushiguro, it had it's own soul that I could tell has been through many lives as the technique was passed on.
I feel a curse's presence suddenly and I tightly wrap Constellations around the dog, willing it to move.
"What-?!" Fushiguro shouted, startled by the loss of control of the shikigami.
In that exact moment Kugisaki fell through the floor and the white dog appeared at Yuji's side.
"Kukukkk" the curse clicked, delighted with its new 'play things'.
We are also missing a hand... Great.
Yuji must've already yelled at Fushiguro to get the hell out of dodge, cause bro just summoned Nue and I let the dog follow him again. All the better for me, I say. Don't want dear Megs and his shadows caught up in this ugly mess.
"You're gonna help, right Sukuna?" The kid moreso demands than asks, but I still get up in the driver's seat with him.
"Gotta teach ya some shit later," I growl at Yuji, taking a fighting stance before the cowering curse and healing our hand "but for now, it's show time!"
Before the curse could even react I already sent a bunch of Cleaves its way.
"Man, with how rare they're supposed to be, they sure love ranking every other curse a special grade!" I snarl at its wriggling form. "You call this a domain? It'll crumble any moment, I'll have you know. How about I show you a real domain, yeah?"
'Hey, 'Kuna, not to interrupt, but is that safe?'
"Oh, don't worry, I'm gonna hurt no one but the curse. Domain expansion: Stars' Garden!"
While Stars' Garden isn't in itself a lethal domain, at least we'd be fighting on my turf.
The moment fog-like stardust settled over the labyrinth of corridors two shadows formed above the curse. One faint and wispy, with the barest hints of pink, and the other a six limbed feline that immediately started reaping apart the rest of the curse.
"Woah- How!?" I hear Yuji right next to me and when I turn, I realize we're in separate bodies now.
"I... might have an idea as to how," I answer vaguely.
Right now our priority is safety. The curse seems to be taken care of and now the first shadow is cautiously making it's way towards us.
"Is it trying to mimic you?" The kid asks looking between me and the shadow.
"No, it is me," I tell him holding out a hand for the shadow to take. The moment we made contact and it merged with me, I felt just a bit more whole. "The curse was drawing power from one of my fingers..."
That's when I turned back towards the feline and I find it staring at us with five eyes of summer sky blue.
"Mrow mrp!" The creature decrease in size and came to rub against my feet.
"Yoru...?" Guess the cat finally returned the favor for saving her ass all those years ago. She probably got tied to me once I died, poor thing.
"Hello!" Yuji exclaimed, crouching down and holding out a hand. Yoru didn't hesitate in the face of pats and scratches. "Friend of yours, Kuna?"
"Hell yeah!" I tell him as he picks her up "C'mon, we got get outta here before I drop the domain, or we'll pull a Polites and become pancakes."
"Who's Polites?" Oh, big mistake kid.
As we made our way out I told the kid about the Odyssey, making sure to avoid mentioning Epic the Musical as much as possible. I'm pretty sure the damn thing isn't even a concept yet.
"There we are!" I say pushing the door open.
"Potato head!" Kugisaki shouted but Fushiguro was quick to pull her back.
"Sukuna," he growled low, blue eyes darkening.
"And Yoru!" Yuji chips in, holding the cat out like Simba.
I just chuckle at his antics. Carefully I grab him and push him further away from the building. The moment I dropped the domain it was like a rubber band was snapped back and I was flung across the water in my innate domain. I landed with a splash and soon after another followed.
Yuji was looking at me with bewilderment and it took a moment for reality to come crashing in.
"If we're here who the fuck is in control?!" I snarl with urgency.
"Uh oh!" Uh oh indeed, Yuji.
I get to my feet and spread my awareness throughout the body to figure out what's going on, when-
"Oh my God!" I crash out "it's the damn cat!"
"I'm sorry, but is she trying to fight Fushiguro?!" Yuji asks incredulously.
Sure enough Yoru was hissing up a storm at our resident grump and proceeded to literally try to bite his face off.
"Oh well, learning opportunity for him I guess!"
"Sukuna, no."
"Fiiine!" I sigh "Pspsps! Yoru, girly, please leave the kid alone!"
"Can't you, I dunno, drag her from the driver seat?"
"I mean, I can," I start hesitantly "but I'd much prefer not to have my eyes clawed out."
"Ah, ok. What about- Woah!"
Fushiguro just proceeded to get thrown against a tree...
"Oi Megumi, can you lock the fuck in!" I shout exasperated "You're getting your ass beat by a cat."
"Curious that she's only going for Fushiguro, though." Yuji adds, with far more observation skill that I previously gave him credit for.
"Maybe she doesn't like that he smells like the divine dogs? I don't know. Ugh, anyway, back to regaining control."
We sit in silence for a bit as we try to put together a plan. If we can't take over the whole body, maybe we can monopolise on a part of it instead.
"Ok, so I'm gonna try something, and you're gonna have to promise not to freak out."
"That doesn't sound very reassuring," Yuji pouts.
"Eh, it is what it is!"
In that moment I focus all my attention on one of the hands. Like a snake I strike with precision and in moments I pulled our heart out. I could hear Yuji's panicked shouting in the back, but hey I could finally feel the body slowing down.
Yoru scurried from the driver seat as if struck by lightning and I was left as the sole person in charge. Wide green eyes stared at me with terror and there was only one thing running through my mind as I pulled back into my domain:
Didn't Megumi have blue eyes just a moment ago?
(I describe Yoru as a shadow, but she also has glowing bones. Do with that what you will)
