Background:

This nanny will have gone through an extensive background check as well as probably having multiple nannying positions before being employed by the Morgan family. They will be looking after the twins most days, in both the penthouse apartment as well as the family beach house. They will probably have to travel with the Morgan’s as well. Because of the nature of Elias’ job, as well as Casey’s, they will have seen some stuff. Elias coming home bloody from a fight or some other untoward behaviour. They will be around Casey’s case files from cases she is working on, and will have been expected to sign an NDA. The role comes with a certain level of danger due to Elias being a high ranking member of the mob. Still they would be paid incredibly well and Elias treats all his employees like family, as would Casey, so they would be well looked after. They can be live in with the Morgan family or have their own apartment somewhere else in Crystal City, whichever is preferred.

Background:

Elias Morgan dated Maia Berk, one of the twin daughters of his boss, Raphael Berk for just about two years before she got murdered. Iris Berk, Maia’s twin, doesn’t know who killed her sister, and while she trusts her dad, she won’t rule anyone out as a suspect until she finds the truth.

While I picture she doesn’t hate Elias Morgan, but she does keep an eye on him. Elias is still haunted by the death of his ex, feels like he’s seeing a ghost whenever he’s with Iris, which is why he tries to avoid her.

Please note that Elias did not actually murder the twin, just was framed to appear so, but the killer has still not been found out at this time.

Her involvement in the family and what she knows about the work is up to you. Raphael has since retired since Maia’s death, but Elias does still honor the family and is close with them.

Matilda’s father wasn’t exactly hands on when she was a kid. Only sticking around until she was 13 he spent most of that time drunk. His wife suffered 3 miscarriages before they finally had their daughter and that really took it’s toll on him. He taught Matilda how to shoot/hunt growing up, it was their only real bonding activity. He was a member of the mob (for the Wilkes family) but when he decided he wanted out the man traded in his daughter as a hit woman for them as a bargaining tool, not that Millie knows that’s what happened. She thinks she was just recruited, she has no idea she was being groomed for it and was then used as a pawn. Edward Morgan was never a faithful man, and the mother of UTP is his 2nd wife, making UTP Elias’ second half sibling. Born in London, England.  Elias only grew up with his siblings because once their mothers all realized what kind of person Edward Morgan was, they kind of made sure the kids had each other in their lives. The thing is, that Elias wanted nothing to do with his siblings, considering how their father treated him, and the fact that he very clearly actually favored his other kids much, much more than Elias  UTP is more like his father than all of the other kids, and actually probably takes over the fathers luxury real estate business in London. I think maybe his reason coming to Crysal City is either to open a new branch of the business/to spy on Elias, or maybe he heard about the fight between Elias and their father. This can all be worked out, though.

Sean grew up what he deems relatively boring. The most exciting thing about him at the time was that his parents were on vacation when he was born. He was good in school, kept to himself and kept good grades. Nothing really interested him so he bounced from job to job until one stuck, being a security guard. His job travels took him all over until he ended up doing gigs in high end night clubs and fashion runways. That’s how he met Mari. He was doing security at a runway. He scoffed at her flirting and thought nothing of it. She was too immature for him, and wanted nothing to do with commitment. Just wanted to have fun. Except they kept running into each other. And she kept expressing interest in him. He had no interest in dating someone who had just entered their twenties*** and seemed to love partying more than anything else. Besides he was seeing someone at the time. Time passed and he didn’t see Mari for a while. His relationship failed and he relocated for the time being to Southern Italy. Then they ran into each other and they started talking again while she was celebrating her birthday. What should have been a one night stand became a fling as he began working more shows Mari was in. He didn’t find out about her mess of a home life for a long time. She called him one night after a huge fight with her (then step mom) and she needed somewhere to go. He let her stay with him. Their relationship resumed. He’s been by Mari’s side helping her through the mountains of her life. the ups were fantastic but the lows were brutal. Once she cut the toxicity out of her life. The mountains flattened out and they moved into a relative state of normalcy. The only exciting thing in their lives were their jobs and vacations they took until the engagement.

Note that at the time of their parents death, Celine had overheard from the authorities that her brother was a person of interest, but that memory had been since buried deep. Now that she’s older, she opted to just cut him off completely. However rumour has it, that he is currently involved with The Berk-Morgan family. This person is the one directly above him, so I was thinking sergeant or lieutenant of the narcotics division, who is responsible of dragging him on the bad route. WC has been dirty for a while and has connections with the Berk-Morgan family, so when they heard about Kev’s work hitting one of the main distribution points, they tried to convinced him to join them and after he refused several times, there was a setup WC facilitated where they were supposed to scare Kevin but he ended up severely injured and sent to the hospital. Once he was out of it, and out of fear of the treats against his loved ones being real, he finally gave in and started doing their dirty work, so needless to say, the relationship between them is tense because Kev is doing it because he doesn’t have any other option.There might be people above them involved as well, I haven’t thought of it but maybe a lieutenant (if sergeant) or the captain.
