Anybody who says “I’m sad this fandom is dead” “there’s no recent fanfics” etc and it’s Owl House or Gravity Falls like ??? Eat a fucking lemon iguess. I see new Gravity Falls art daily and I personally make TOH art almost daily. It’s your skill issue that you’re not seeking out/ supporting artists, writers, etc. There’s online fandoms that have like ten people in them and you’re complaining that nobody is making new content when Owl House regularly trends? As if the art I and other artists make doesn’t matter ?

If you feel like the fandom is dead then come support fan artists and fic writers and meta writers and amv creators RIGHT NOW or stop complaining. You need to reblog posts and make an effort to support ppl in your fandom because this IS how they die. Owl House artists are making new work but our reblog ratio is terrible. Fandoms die when you do nothing to support the people in them.

Reminds me of the many "dead" fandoms I'm in. Two examples being TarBoy and OFF, TarBoy may be a very small and forgotten piece of media but there are still some fans that still make art and talk about it like me and a small group in the TarBoy tags and Discord. Heck we even still find pieces of information from long dead blogs by the creator and musician.

OFF is a different case, years ago people said that OFF was a dead fandom when it had active fangames in development and people still talking about the "story" (in quotations because Mortis said the story is however you see and interpret it), I wonder if those people are still saying it's dead when OFF is now getting a remake and has Fangamer merch.

In short, just get off your lazy butt and search for the content you desire instead of waiting for the algorithm to just give it to you!

Do you have any more artwork of the Astro Boy Reboot? If yes could you maybe post :3? And what is your opinion about the entire show getting scrapped and replaced by a cgi animated show directed by Thomas Astruc?

I haven't really drawn Reboot in a long while.

I absolutely hate that the beauty of the original was replaced with A.I. generated trash. The little we saw of the original was like pure art, it was almost in the same style as the Carmen Sandiego Netflix reboot, with a line-less style that used colors to really make things POP and feel alive. I was really excited to see the Blue Core again and see what they would do with it.

Sadly the original Reboot will only live on through my art style, it influenced my style a lot, especially with things like the eyes.

Sorry bud, there are multiple AstroBoy Discord servers, one that is partially active. Plus my friend @redtail126548 is a big fan of the 09 film, who has been working on a entire rewrite fanfic of the film.

Need proof I'm a fan? I have all 23 Dark Horse AstroBoy comics, seen every episode from 1963 to today including the spinoffs like Little AstroBoy, Go AstroBoy Go, Atom the Beginning, and the recent Pluto anime, and I have AstroBoy Omega Factor with box and manuals. Plus a AstroBoy shirt I commissioned while at a mall. OH! PLUS plus, the 2003 AstroBoy game for PS2.

I have a theory of what the story might be for Pokémon Legends Z-A since it entirely takes place in Lumious City.

Since Zygarde’s PokéDex says that it will destroy anything that threatens the ecosystem I think it’ll see Lumious City as a threat and try to destroy it.

Maybe Mega Evolution with it’s connection to friendship and the bond between trainer and Pokémon, it’ll be how we stop Zygarde and show that people and Pokémon can be friends and that the city isn’t a threat.

That’s just my theory based of Zygarde’s PokéDex and how Pokémon stories are mostly about.

See this? THIS is why you ink your base. Look at how perfect and smooth the aqua team’s base is compared to orange. They were so focused on running ahead and they missed HUGE CHUNKS of their base, whereas I was able to be meticulous and get every nook and cranny of our base! And while at first glance it looks pretty even, those little points add up!

This may have worked for you and your team, but in every match where my team would ink base the other team gets the center and block us from leaving spawn to get more turf, which also blocked us from using our specials because we had no more turf to well… turf.

So there are times that this works, like the rest of your team battling for the center while you stayed behind and ink the entire base. In that case I’m guessing your team members were more competitive and know how to fight.

There are many factors like if you had Tentimissles and you used them every time your special gage filled up because you were inking base.

But I can’t say for sure since you don’t show your teams splat count and what weapon you’re using, but inking base can help with winning, only if certain factors are at play.

You’re right, to an extent. I do prefer to play as a support and I main roller. As such my job is to hang back and get all those little nooks and crannies that everyone else misses and use my special (tenta-missiles) to attack from a distance.

Rushing forward and taking the center is one tactic, staying back and ensuring complete ink coverage is another. Both have pros and cons and neither is the perfect solution. I’ve literally won matches in the last 30 seconds because the team that was spawn camping is got wiped out and that allowed us to push forward and take over. I’ve also won matches by sneaking past the spawn campers and just inking behind them because they’re too focused on attacking to do anything else.

Competitive playing and aggression only gets you so far. You need to know what your weapon is designed for and play to that strength.

You’re right. I often try to not get too aggressive since I have seen that too much aggression and pushing forward got me more losses than victories (and causes me to feel lightheaded).

In matches where I stayed back and not go into the enemy base I got victories because I was able to stop the enemy trying to sneak pass and ink our base, while my entire team was trying to get a ton of splats but getting splatted themselves and not paying any attention on our turf.
