I’m going to say it. David Tennant can play the most disgusting, evil guy in the world and i would still want to pull his tie.

well apparently everyone else hates it. i do not. i love it. i love what they did with it, i love that crowley got to choose, i love that he chose humanity, that he did not choose to run away.

because THAT is who he is. he loves his stars and creations, he loves humanity, he loves the messiness, the good and the bad, the ugly and the beautiful, he loves watching them. he showed jesus all the kingdoms of the world to share that love with someone who he knows already felt it.

in the end, they made that choice together. it's a choice they have made before, over and over, saving humanity over themselves. no god, no angels, no demons, no thousands of years of suffering for all the millions of eternal beings.

personally, i choose to believe that god's last gift to them was integrating them into the fabric of the new universe, so they will find each other in every lifetime. but without anyone watching, without any plan behind it, without senseless suffering, without creating stars just to destroy them.

just the two of them, together, always.

GO hot take apparently

Imagine finding out you have 90 minutes to tie up a love story that's developed over thousands of years. You create something beautifully in character and completely on point for the plot. You pay homage to the original writer's legacy in a fitting and poetic way and create an ending that not only shows the depth of two people's love for each other but the wider love they have for the thing that brought them together in the first place.

And then you go online to find the loudest outcry is that everyone hates it and "THEY DIDN'T EVEN KISS!"

I feel sorry for people who didn't get anything out of that stunning finale.

I haven’t yet looked at what other people think about the Good Omens finale, so this is my fully unbiased opinion.

They did what they could, and they did such a beautiful, perfect job at that. I honestly don’t know the full story behind why this was the only way to make season 3, in one long episode, but i know there were big reasons behind it.

Was it messy in the end? Yes.

Was way too fast? Clearly.

Did they serve the fans what they deserve in their limits? Yes, 100%.

I think to have only this much time to end this show and to tell the story they wanted must’ve been so hard. But they fitted what matters. In these cases they have a choice to choose story telling or character and fan service. They choose the last one, cuz nobody else, but fans care about this last one + hour episode. And look they choose to give an ending to a fandom, that writes, draws and wonders about these characters. With this ending we can wonder more, we can give more and more stories, but we still got the canon love made very canon.

I’m sad we couldn’t see the whole original ending, but i’m still happy with what we’ve gotten. Cuz this was a gift for us. Not only from the makers, but from David Tennant and Michael Sheen. What actors, what characters, what a story. Thank you.

When somebody died, I think you always keep a sort of memory, but you don't want to stop to the details. And I think all the fights we had are all details. I think the most important is when you talk about Senna, you talk about Prost. And when you talk about Prost, you talk about Senna. And that's going to be almost forever. That's the most important.

Did you at the time and do you even maybe now feel a sense of loss, a sense of emptiness that it seems so many people around the world feel and still harbour?

Prost:

Yes, yes, sure. For me, I really feel something. I mean, it's not the same. Somebody is missing. And when I look at Formula One races, it's I always think, "Oh, Ayrton stoped, Ayrton retired, he's not in the race." I can't believe that he's dead. And he was, as I said before, he was part of my career. And the fact he's not here, for me, when I speak about my memories or when I think about some races, it's different. And it will be always different.
