We proudly present our 500th post simultaneously with our Christmas bauble of the Year:
a somewhat abartig (German for abnormal) Fiat Nuova 500 because of its roughly carved selfmade Abarth design. All we saw before was its proud owner getting out of the car, a grandfatherly looking true petrolhead who apparently has installed a motorcycle engine in his construction.

Throwback Thursday :)
As you might know I simply can’t walk by without taking a photo if I see a Fiat 500, in this case in the adorable Lusso-Version (1968–1972) with modernized interior, front-hinged doors and an extra chrome nudge bar. It seems to have become an architect’s dream: clean, black, perfectly restored, so Hamburg. It has cost me my lunchbreak today to shoot it without rain and passers-by.
