Who is blackpink? Blackpink is a south Korean girl group that debuted under YG Entertainment on August 8, 2016. Blackpink consists of 4 members.

Their debut song, Boombayah, is currently at 150m and on youtube they collected more than 2.5 million subscribers. They’re popular, but what’s all the rave about their fandom?
To start off, Blinks are incredibly loyal to our girls. There are some who are toxic and believe their bias should overshadow the others, but overall a lot of the blinks love the girls with all their hearts. Why?
She is Blackpink’s main dancer, lead rapper, and maknae. On stage, she is fierce and has that magnetic charisma. Her dancing skills are amazing, very sharp, fluid, and smooth. As for personality, she really is the maknae! She’s adorable in every way, funny, and pretty damn extra. Lisa is adorable and kind.
Rosé (korean name Chaeyoung) is Blackpink’s main vocalist and well as the second youngest. She’s known for her distinctive vocals and because of that, idols (ex. IU) like her. You can find reaction fancams to *insert kpop band* reacting to BP and you might find them stunned at Rose’s talent. As for personality, she’s so cute! She seems like a shy one but she’s just a little dork with an amazing voice.
Jennie is Blackpink’s main rapper and vocalist. As a trainee, she was featured in some of YG artists songs (GD’s Black, Seungri GG BE, and Lee Hi’s Special). Jennie is sometimes referred to as YG’s Princess and Ace Card. She can sing, rap, dance, and can speak several languages. On stage, she exudes charisma and appears very fierce, badass, and aggressive, but off stage she’s just a little cutie! She’s pretty good at aegyo and is a bit of a savage to fellow members. In the past, there were bullying rumors about her but they were proved fake. Fun fact: she was supposed to be Blackpink’s leader when they were gonna debut in 2012.
Jisoo is Blackpink’s lead vocalist, visual, and is the oldest. Back when she was a trainee, she was known as the “pretty trainee from YG.” She is 4d and displayed her personality on Weekly Idol. When she was in school, she was known for her beauty and kindness. Personally, I find her hilarious and can relate to her on a spiritual level.
So, why love Blackpink? It’s up to you to become a Blink or not, but personally, I love them for their talent, their personality, and what they all bring to the table. They had a powerful start, and with their comeback drawing close, they most likely will be able to keep the momentum. They’re a monster rookie group that racked many awards. They’re funny, cute, these girls have it all. Most importantly, they’re not like other girl groups. And that’s why I love Blackpink. If you’re a Blink, why do you love Blackpink?
