Sometime I use film highlighter instead of highlighter pens on books I can’t or don’t want to write something down (some books are very expensive!) the tape is removable easily. :)

Midterms are coming up and I’m about to destroy ring theory
My professor chose this book because it was adorable but it was affordable because it sucks :’) luckily I was able to find some other resources to supplement this one

I’m really proud of myself today, because I succeeded in providing a proof for the formula that gives the volume of a tetrahedron with a triangular base. I have been stalling on that problem for a bit today, since I’m not good at visualising things in 3D. The main issue for me was visualising sections of the tetrahedron into triangles in order to apply Thales’ theorem (Intercept theorem, I don’t know what it’s called in English ^^). But I figured out my mistake and made it ! 😁

The extremely neat complete mess that is my life right now 😩 2 more problems to go...
some nice illustrations from my matrix notes as of late
Discover Magnetips, the magnetic pens. Get more information here
I'm trying to memorize proofs for my exam by copying the proof out of my notes, copying it out of the textbook, and then writing the proof myself...

I’m focusing on the chapter about the binomial coefficients to study for an upcoming combinatorics exam. The patterns are so nice to work with and so predictable, it feels very comfortable.
doodles from my algebra tutorial
Maths outline system
Some of you wanted to know how I outline my maths notes, so here is the basic system I’ve been doing for a week and I’m actually quite happy with it (excuse the sudden hot chocolate doodle, just couldn’t help it 😅). And look how beautiful the sky looks here today - I love it! *proud of my bedroom window view*
my pencil case and its contents
Doing some problems on the singular value decomposition (Horn & Johnson)
I’m finally getting over my cold so I’m taking advantage of the snow day with combinatorics and advanced calculus analysis. The exciting tales of ordered fields and the Inclusion-Exclusion Principle would blow your mind.
ft. some notes I wrote up to email to one of my algebra students to help her start solving her systems of linear equations homework problems.
