An announcement from the Alliance to Save Energy’s PowerSave Campus program: It has been a pleasure working with your campus in the spirit of energy efficiency! As a non-profit program, PowerSave Campus is subject to the shifting needs of our funders, the investor-owned utilities (IOUs) of California. In response to the state’s future energy workforce needs, the IOUs will be modifying their workforce education and training programs for next year. The staff of the Alliance to Save Energy’s PowerSave Campus program applied to continue PowerSave in 2016 and beyond, in a form modified to meet the IOUs’ requests. We are still awaiting word...Whatever the outcome, we are so glad we have been able to make a difference in your campus community, and we hope this campus culture of energy efficiency and sustainability will continue for years to come.
