How the Bad Batch Fish

Echo: The only one who consistently uses a fishing rod aside from Tech. But he ditches the reel handle and uses his scomp drill.

Crosshair: fish shooting.

Wrecker: There's two branching options. Starts out with a fishing rod, reels in a small to mid size catch. Or, jumps in and wrestles a monster fish (Has also tried to fish with explosives but everyone on Pabu said no, it scares off the rest of the fish).

Hunter: Catches fish with his bare hands.

Tech: 🪦 jk, he uses a fish finder.

Omega: Has copied Echo. Has copied Crosshair. Has copied Wrecker. Has copied Hunter. Has copied Tech.

I've seen a post about Pabu, but I lost it. I beg to differ so here's my take on Pabu.

Pabu's economy is a mix of bartering and money. They need money for outside resources. They also have classes. The richer people at the top, the poor people at the bottom. Everyone has to contribute to the community in some way shape or form. Because if they don't do anything, they aren't treated kindly, and aren't likely to have food, resources, or services provided to them.

Crosshair’s toothpicks are a substitute for cigs. And then there’s a scene where Omega’s copying Crosshair’s toothpick habits. Just imagine if Hunter swivels around and sees Omega smoking a cigarette.

I was watching Bad Batch Season 3 episode "The Return" last night for about the 12th time, and something occurred to me. Wrecker handed Crosshair his weapon kit which included his old armor, and said "it never felt right to get rid of it." These boys have been through the ringer, are missing much of their original armor (did they have to sell it bit by bit to buy supplies?) yet they did not sell or throw away Crosshair's. For all the ones who love to hate on Hunter for "being mean" to Crosshair, I think this is yet another example of how Hunter and the rest of the squad really felt.

I guarantee you that every once in a while, a shiny cadet gets tied down to his bunk and abandoned so that he misses the entire morning until the captain or any other higher officer finds him and then makes the entire troop regret their pranks.
