- finishes working on sketch.
- takes picture of sketch with phone.
- gets picture on laptop to crop.
- starts cropping.
- spots a stray cat hair on sketch.
picture un-useable. scrap it. gah.
The picture in question:
THIS is the offending photo! LOOKIT THAT HECKIN PIECE OF FINE CAT FUR. that's from one of my 2 bubbby gorls (they both have long fur coats with fine-haired layers), either Salem or Sawyer. i would say it's Salem's fur because she's often around me/where i took this, but Sawyer's been a lil beans girl and has been hanging around more lately too. hmmmmm.
And after all that, after taking picture after picture on multiple days, under different lighting, i don't even like this image anymore ;w;
a slightly duller version because i was apparently afraid of colour when upping the vibrancy.
you can REALLY see the exact texture of my sketchbook paper, pencil crayon layerings, and watercolour blotches in this one. because direct sunlight hates me personally.
anyways, the entire point of all this was to practice old-gold altmer skintones. because my brain refuses to process what the hecky golds/golden-browns/ancient-worn-old-green-golds look like. it's a problem.
and i had a bunch of pencil crayons just laying there...
