So customs lost my luggage, which is fine because it gives me an excuse to buy new stuff, but now I’m wondering who finds lost luggage and what they do with it. Is somebody wearing my underwear right now? I hope so, they were pretty.
Oh I’m sorry to hear that. I think. I don’t know, if it were me I don’t know if I’d be able to wear someone else’s underwear.
“Thank you.” Tearing his gaze away from her so he could take a moment to catch his breath, it was a lot for her to take in but it was also a lot for him to give. Ever since the day she was born, Henry had done what he could to protect his daughter and now he was finding himself broadcasting information about her. “It was hard for me to tell you, it was hard for me to even get my head around, I mean, I’m a father now.”
She bit her bottom lip, shoving her hands into the back pockets of her shorts. “I understand. Really, I do. “ It must’ve been hard to come to grips with, usually pregnancy is one of those things you plan, she found it hard to try and be angrier at him because he took responsibility. “Congratulations. And I mean it this time.”
Henry left a soft sigh slip from his lips as he looked at the girl, “I know, it’s crazy how I have a mini me waiting for me back home. You’d be surprised how much she actually looks like me.” The boy let out a soft chuckle, hoping to ease the slight tension, “I’m sorry, I didn’t know how to tell you— Yeah, Clementine Jackson but she loves being called Clem.”
She gave a quick smile, “ Well, congratulations,” She disconnected her eyes from him and looked down at the floor, shaking her head slightly. This was insane. “I probably would’ve reacted worse if you had told be before, if I were to be completely honest with you.”
Ew, a pizza sandwich? I’m just going to use tortillas instead because I’d rather put tomato sauce on that than… Toast. If I order a pizza, I’m eating it myself. Just one giant bite. I hate sharing so much, by golly.
Maybe? I don’t know, tortillas really? What about a normal pizza base, I mean they are pretty quick for delivery around here. Hey it’s a business idea, maybe you could make a more stable bread to support the tomato sauce? Doesn’t matter if you love it or hate it, it’s gonna happen, some people have no boundaries.
“Don’t be upset, you’ll thank me in the long run. So I’ve heard. I lived in a house with a lesbian couple who had adopted four little girls once. One of them was Chinese, I think. Very cute, but screams and hair-pulling like you wouldn’t believe.”
“I don’t think I will. Oh, really? Ouch, four, and I thought my situation was bad. The thing is you’re a boy so whether you’d be allowed to use my defense mechanisms is highly doubtful. There was a lot of wrestling movements. At least you don’t have bald patches.”
“Everyone says it’s not; so I guess it’s just a blow up doll. But, I’m not going to fish it out.”
Well I don’t wanna so you’re gonna have to. Sorry.
Shock run through his body as he watched her, his heart hammering against his chest, “Yeah, she’s my little angel,” He ginned, trying to lighten the mood slightly before he bit down on his lip, “I— This girl, it was a one night stand kinda thing but she left a few days after Clem was born, it’s just been me and her since.”
She was still in confusion. A literal human has hald the genetics of him. This wasn’t anything small. She was still partly speechless, “I--oh my gosh. Okay. Well you did the right thing, I mean staying with her and stuff. This really isn’t a small deal is it? You kept this away from me for two years?” One hand rested in her hair, “Is that her name, Clem?”
“I think there’s a dead body in the pool. ——Or it’s just a blow up doll.”
“If it’s a dead body we are all screwed, TV show and all. Let’s hope and pray that it’s not, bugsy not checking, sorry”
Henry couldn’t help but chuckle a little, rolling his eyes softly at her before he took a slight step forward, rubbing his hands against his jeans as his palms began to sweat, “I um—- I have a baby. Well a toddler, she’s um, she’s two.”
Disbelief ran through her as she struggled to comprehend with what he just said. Her fingers gently rubbed each temple, her eyes closed. She strained to get words, her mind all over the place. “Y-you made someone? Two years ago? I--You--” SHe sighed, “So who’s the lucky woman?”.
Bagels with cheese and sauce on them. Sometimes toppings, sometimes not. They’re my reason for being here. Not really, but they’re important to me.
I don’t know if they do thise here, but if all else fails will toast work? You could do a pizza sandwich, or order some, your choice. But please bear in mind that ordering pizza may mean feeding the whole house, so at least get a large for the sake of some people’s sanity.
Henry watched her with glossy eyes, fighting off the urge to reach over and wrap his arms around her middle. He felt awful, he really did but there was nothing he could do, the past was the past and he had fucked up so all he could do now was try and make up for it. “I know, it’s complicated Bea, I want to tell you but I’m scared.”
Now she was just worried. Pushing all the angered feelings from earlier, what could be so bad that he was this scared? “Henry,” a nervous giggle passed through her lips to take the edge of this panicky feeling, “now you’re scaring me. What did you do, kill someone?”
Henry sighed softly, he wanted to take a step forward, to try and console her in any way he could but even he knew that was a dumb move, if he even went the tiniest bit closer to her, she would probably pack him a punch. “I know and I’m sorry, I was hurting too but it was just all so complicated and there was a lot going on and I know I owe you an explanation and I’m trying to find the words but I can’t.” His voice was borderline cracking as emotion washed over him, “But look, we’re here and I know we’re going to work through this because I’m so so sorry and I just need you to believe that.”
She bit into the bottom of her lip as the silence passed between them. She felt torn by the decisions circulating in her head. She wanted to forgive him, however, she was worried that it could all come crashing down again. Most of all she wanted to know what was so important and complicated. But one step at a time. He was genuine, she could tell. “I don’t know, I mean I want to work it out too,” she whispered, fidgeting with her hands, “But--I just--I don’t know.”
“So.. On the plane ride here some guy had a dick drawn on his forehead, I thought it was hilarious, but when he found out I think he punched his brother in the face.”
“That just reminds me of a Friends episode.. However, if I drew a dick on your face I don’t know if you’d be best pleased. Or would you?”
Can someone direct me to the nearest pizza bagels? I’m having withdrawl symptoms and might go into a coma.
---Pizza..What? Pizza bagels? Please inform me on what those actually are.
I don’t care if we need bees or not, If one comes near me I’m killing it before it kills me. People need to stop bitching and let nature take it’s course, I’m sure they said the same thing when dinosaurs were dying out and we’re doing just fine without ‘em.
Damn right. Except I kinda lose track of where the bee goes so it’s just me screaming frantically. There is also a lot of swatting. Yeah, I honestly don’t think we would be fine with them.
