Selective compassion doesn’t score you brownie points either. I don’t care about what animal charities you donate to, how many animals you have rescued or any other good deed you seem to think nullifies your evil ones, you can not make a generalized statement such as ” I’m an animal lover” if you contribute to the suffering, exploitation, oppression and murder of billions of animals each year.

Body shaming only contributes to the deep-rooted emotional problems that caused those people to have a distorted relationship with food in the first place. It's not "inspirational" or "motivational" to dehumanize someone to the point of tears, it just makes them feel like they're not good enough because their body doesn't look acceptable by your narrow view of what beautiful looks like. These people need to be comforted, loved and supported through their journey of discovering what it was that made their relationship with food so unhealthy. Not screamed at and mocked and made to feel like a weak fool.
