Wowie! It’s our first ever Papship week event! We all love our tall, lanky lad and we’re staying true to his Dating Guide as we’re off exploring Typical Tropes! That’s right, those tropes that you read again and again and still want more of! From Kabedon to the classic Coffeeshop AU, let’s have fun exploring the age old favourites.
If you’re unsure what Papyrus x Self-ship week is:
It’s a week-long event to celebrate shipping yourself (or your OCs/Sona) with Papyrus. That can be good ol’ Classic but you can also go with any variant: Underfell, Horrortale, Dreamtale, your own personal AU—you name it, you can do it!
Fan fic and fan art are both allowed, as are NSFW and Dark fic works, we only ask that you tag things appropriately to give readers a heads up on what to expect! Please note that we will not be accepting any explicit underage content. Please tag your posts with #papselfship, @selfshipperapproved, or even submit your works directly to us so we can see and reblog what you create!
Due to Tumblr’s restriction on NSFW visual content, you are more than welcome to post images to the Ao3 collection we have created specifically for this event, which can be found here: Papyrus/Self Insert Ship Week 2023. Simply click the little button to the right of the collection that reads, “Post to Collect”. Remember that you will have to host your art on an image hosting site before you can embed it in an Ao3 work. Additionally, if you post your work on Ao3 for this event, we encourage you to add them to the collection!
Since this is specifically aimed at Self-Insert content, we will not be accepting Frans, Papcest or Fontcest content, though you are more than welcome to use these prompts for other characters and ships.
