the contrabass saxophone is such an absurd instrument
talk dirty to me
Have ya’ll seen the double contrabass flute before???
reblogging my own post because what in the fuck
i give you the contrabass tuba. Why is it real. I dont know.
Know what’s even better?
HYPERBASS FLUTE
my counter:
piccolo trombone
I’m both glad and sad that string players are only limited to violin, viola, cello, and bass. Can you imagine a contrabass? Or a piccolo violin????
String players are not limited to just those.
I present, THE OCTOBASS
It’s so big that it needs keys to hit the strings.
And in the reverse direction there exists the Pochette. Translated from French, it means pocket, as it was a pocket sized violin like instrument.
This is amazing
someone post the archlute
This one?
I just want to get lost in the fanfictions that I loved when I first read them. So many have taken their works down (which is their right). Or I cannot remember anything but the premise of a great story and cannot find them anymore. Sometimes rereading something sparks my memory of more than just what the story was about. It reminds me of where I was at in my life. There are complete gaps now thanks to my lesion riddled brain. It is not just nice to read something that caused me joy, it is nice to remember. I have reread a few books which also did the same. There was just a time in my life where all I read was fanfic.
This is a hilarious mistranslation actually. I suspect it originally said something along the lines of "Impregnerad mot vatten", i.e. "Water proof".
Impregnering is the process of making a material resistant to water/heat. The swedish word for water (vatten) is similar to the word for goblin (vätten) so I guess there was a mixup.
mistranslation? or incredible branding decision
I just witnessed a fucking murder
I love how it’s unclear if Data has any idea whatsoever that he just murdered Worf.
And the decisive little head nod at the end before he walks off - like, yup, I just solved that problem, good for me.

im literally so fucking normal about him. i want to put him in a medieval torture chamber
I really need more War Boys on the big screen. I would like to see how Immortan Joe indoctrinates so many people. Maybe it is because he supplies them with food and water. I just want to know more. Also, here is some good close ups of Slit.

me watching all the new romulus fans unfamiliar with the alien franchise or h.r. giger in general confused how everything in the movie resembles a dick or vagina
