Explaining her actions and it slips out, why she was doing this stuff or said some things she did. Trust was hard but with him she was genuine. And sure she was having a meltdown as her emotional side or lack thereof was called out by one of their ‘friends’ her feelings for him slipped. But what came as a shock were his words, his feelings back to her. Her head snapped in his direction as her features lit up.❝ You do?❞ Surprise but a genuine, warm and bright smile is on her lips. She feels like it must be a dream because in any other reality she would be falling on her face falling into a hell in which she could not get out. Their relationship would be completely destroyed but by some grace of a god, or something else her slip of I love him caused him to return the words.❝ Are you sure?❞

SHE HAD BEEN WORRIED FOR THE TEAM. lara jean had no idea how everyone was handling the news well with the leaked footage of the joking kiss of vinnie and mike , she knew that eve and jaeden were having some difficulty with handling the damage done by someone. she had spoken with the other crew members , but to no luck. she didn’t want to bother her , but seeing how everyone seemed to be out of focus , she just wanted to check on everyone. ❛ no , no. i-it’s fine , i was just WORRIED about you with all of this issue popping up. i tried to check or trace who leaked it too , but i haven’t gotten anything much. i’m sorry. ❜

That was a slight shock but something she highly appreciated. ❝ You want to help then?❞ And the concern for her mental health and struggles was also appreciated but thanks for that could be expressed at another time for now, this was more important. Finding who the leaker was, controlling it and then finding a damage control. You’d argue with her words, but the way her breath catches when your body presses to hers just makes you smirk. For once you might actually be winning, might actually have the upper hand. It’s a nice change, though now that you have it you can’t deny the fact that you liked her having the control. Lip is bit back as her lips press to your neck, teeth grazing skin driving you insane. But then her head is pulled back again and she’s speaking. You’re about to sarcastically tell her to say please, but then she actually does. And you’re clearly surprised, though you try to keep your shock contained to simply a raised eyebrow.
Slowly you place her back on the ground, hands staying in place by her ass for a moment before slowly sliding up her body, drawing the moment out until one hand comes to cup her cheek. ❝You. I want you.❞ And there’s nothing more true than that. In this moment, even if you’re no longer pressed against her, nothing is in your mind except for her. Hand moves slowly down from her cheek, drifts across her jawline until it comes to rest under her chin, lifting it and holding it in place so that they have nowhere to look except each other. ❝I want to fuck you.❞

Lips press against his hard but only for a second before glancing back to the party behind them. So far no question of where they were, enough time to sneak away.
Frame pulls away from him completely before grabbing his arm, tugging him towards the wall of books to their side. After a second pulling a book along the shelf before the shelf swung open and she was tugging him inside the passageway. Turning around hands raising sliding along his shoulders gripping the edge of the door she had opened. Head tilting and leaning closer to his before closing the door behind them. Staying there for a moment as she looked at him teeth finding her bottom lip.❝ Then fuck me.❞ No worries about disturbances now, anything they wanted. And her words spoke with a challenging tone, with a raise of her brows. He had the opportunity now, one movement and he could take the cards from her in the dimly lit hidden passage. A single chance, that was it if he didn’t take it, she would end the game. Head tilts back dark locks falling past shoulders with the roll of her head. ❝ Unless you can’t keep up. Pretty boys typically can’t.❞

You’ve never been entirely open, that much you’ll admit. It’s not necessarily an attempt to hide anything, more just that you’ve never considered anything about you exciting enough to share it. It tends to be what you see is what you get, but there was a little beneath the surface that wasn’t as simple as it seems. ❝Typical Barren Falls childhood, I guess. There had to be something, and then she remembered. It was the only time she did something truly dumb in her life, at least to herself. ❝ I can’t imagine that, do you remember a little while back Vinnie had really pissed me the fuck off so my friends from the Night Watch were messing around and you had to come get us?❞ She remembered pretty heavily what happened, no one forgets what happens in the woods if the make it out. Unless for some reason you are like Adam and if she remembered right they brought him peace. As much as she liked him, she would never ever go on a picnic there even if it was the single thing she had to do to get him to like her back. ❝Have you been in them before then? She was going to destroy this woman because of that. The distaste, the hate for her grew because she wasn’t one of them. Not even that at this point she was not good enough for him, or kind enough. head raises as she speaks, an eyebrow raised. it did seem he wasn’t exactly open about most of his life, didn’t tend to go all that deep into his past. but what was there, really? he’d known her for most of his adult life, even if she was a couple of years older than him. ❝what do you wanna know?❞ spoken as he closes the book in his hands, putting it down on the desk and leaning forward. ❝i’m an open book.❞

Her adult life, it was here, with him, with the librarians before and now their own happy trio. But, he spoke so little of his own life in that time. Two years on him and she had shared far more out of anger than he had ❝ What was it like growing up? What did you do for fun?❞ Simple question, most knew what she did, who she was even as a child. But, the people close to her were limited and no one ever spoke to her like they were equal. They either fell in line and submission of a faux casual friendship out of fear or challenged her and lost so bad they never spoke to her again. Friends were hard. ❝Something, anything. I feel it is hardly fair, I know you know most everything about me by now. At least it feels like that with how much I do, how much I fly off the handle. I want to know you.❞
