Can we talk about Shy John please and how he’s the only one that stayed with Billy in the Well-Made House during BB:11YL? Can we talk about how Billy’s Son and Girlfriend are missing in 11YL. I miss my family.
stupid theory, but what if shy john is staying behind to help fix billy. after all, Billy isn't exactly in the best shape since there IS oil dripping down his sweater.
Im mostly talking out my ass here, but there COULD be an implication that Billy was robbed or perhaps Son was taken away because people deemed Billy an unfit father, or son was kidnapped, the possibilities are kinda endless.
the reason I say they deemed him unfit is because canonically, Billy SUCKS at keeping his budget. Sure, he's rich, but he's also most likely a reckless spender. he spent ALL his yarney on well-made stuff. who knows, maybe he got so reckless he couldn't afford to take care of son anymore or worse.
also I believe Girlfriend being absent means she's possibly now haunting Sons narrative (hence on why both are absent), and has moved on from Billy. maybe son ran away???
the game implies (just like its previous one) something horrible may have HAPPENED to billy, which, in my opinion may have something to do with Son.
the reason I say that is because parents often become either a better person when their child is gone, or they become the worst parts of themself.
so if we go with the fact billy could be a reckless spender. what happened.
Billy wasted the entire companies money, and thus his stocks, sales, everything crashed, including the well respected name that he belonged to. okay, cool, he has no money. at least he has his son.
his son is gone (missing or something else)
fuck he spirals, and/or gets robbed or something akin to that., and his core gets ripped out, shutting him down and getting his cool sweater soaked in oil.
The incident gets on the news, and so the house gets boarded up.
( note that the boards aren't EXTERNAL, but its all internal, which means one (or several) of the people boarded up the house so nobody could get in or out, including billy and shy john. )
so, shy john decides to try and repair billy, which somewhat works except now he's missing one(?) of his eye(s), and has a massive open part of his chest. oh and his shoulder pads are gone. rip shoulder pads... :(
Shy john is still himself, oddly enough despite everything. which is kinda wholesome despite the shit going on in "11 years later." the only difference is now its dark and his portfolio picture in principals office is completely ruined (possibly graffiti'd on). (which kinda means the gang didn't exactly do a good enough job boarding up, OR kids got in BEFORE it got boarded up. idk.)
like i said. talking out of my ass here, all of this was made on a whim.
however, I do wish there was a continuation so that way we could find out what happened to son and girlfriend :[
