YOU LET OUT A SIGH as you close your locker. You loved doing cheer but sometimes you were a bit too tired to actually do it.
Suddenly, Sal, your boyfriend, made his way over to where you stood. “Hey, what’s wrong? You seemed all mopey today.” He asks, worried.
“I’m fine! Just.. I have cheer and I'm too tired..” You complain.
“Why not just ask for some time off? I’m sure they’ll let you.”
“I would but our team is already behind on some of our routines..” You say, starting to walk to the gym where cheer practice is held.
Sal follows and says, “Well if you’re tired you should take a break. I don’t want you to fall and get injured.”
“I’m gonna be fine! Are you staying, though?” You ask.
“Of course I am!” He answers, putting his arm around your shoulders and leaning in to kiss your temple.
Once cheer practice was over, Sal made sure you were okay and he walked you home.
