what she means: 5sos were taken advantage of at a very young age, and were lead into a contract that stated 1d would take 50% of profits from anything that had 5sos on it. no one told them, no one explained it to them, they were stupid kids who got excited about making music and getting signed so they signed the contract without a care in the world and now they can barely afford new clothes, ashton had to save for a camera, when they should be able to afford all that and more because of how much their band has grossed in the last two years from ticket sales, merch, and album sales and it just makes me so upset because 5sos deserve what they earn and they don’t get it
