Please read - the future of Berry Belle

Hey everyone! I'll cut right to the chase: I've decided to stop all Berry Belle merchandise production, effective immediately. I will no longer be planning, making, or restocking products. Everything on my shop is 50% off permanently until sold out, including my most recent drop items. I have NO plans for restocks, so if you want something, grab it now.

The reasons I'm doing this are many, but here are a few highlights: BB is, essentially, a very expensive hobby for me. I've never actually made money back on anything I've produced. My social media reach is awful, I'm getting very little traction on Etsy, and my drops generally land with a thud. I'm tired of fighting the algorithm, and I can't afford to keep producing products that aren't selling.

My art is also not where I want it to be, and I recognize that it's not standing out enough to be successful. I'll be continuing to make and post art here, but not with the intent of selling it and not to please the algorithm. It'll just be a collection of things I've made. Trying to improve my art, constantly develop new things, spending money on manufacturing, and planning an in-person booth is just too much on top of everything else I do on the daily, and I'm definitely burning out.

Thank you for four and a half wonderful years of Berry Belle. I appreciate every one of you who's followed me, liked or shared my posts, left kind comments, or bought something from me. I had a lot of fun developing merch, and I hope I get to do it again in the future. For now, though, it's time to rest and refocus on other things.

when we were driving home from Superstar, we drove past dozens of those 'hurricane evacuation route' signs on the interstate. it made me wonder - do they have evacuation plans for legendary pokemon fights in hoenn? would you see this on a route near mossdeep or lilycove?

Hi dere, it's me Bey! I'm habing a great time running and playing in my new yard! So many new smells to sniff and squirrels to chase!

Bey is feeling good and is all healed up after her most recent surgery in February! She is having some tummy troubles, and based on some recent blood work, her doctor thinks she may have Addison's Disease.

This means that her adrenal glands aren't producing enough of their primary hormones, cortisol and aldosterone, which regulate stress and electrolytes. Cancer is a common cause of Addison's disease as it can be due to damage to the pituitary gland.

We've been waiting for her to heal from surgery before we start the Addison's testing. She will go tomorrow (3/20) for an all-day vet stay to take an ACTH Stimulation Test to determine if she does indeed have Addison's.

Thankfully, dogs with Addison's typically have a good prognosis as it can be treated and managed with medication. We have high hopes for our old lady!

Every bracelet sold by Bracelets for Bey goes towards her veterinary bills. I began selling bracelets in my Etsy shop in September 2024 to raise money for a sudden surgery Bey needed to remove a rapidly growing cancerous welt. She had a second lump removal surgery in February 2025, but thankfully we learned that all three spots were non-cancerous!

Now, Bey will need continued regular treatment and testing to keep an eye on her cancer and manage her Addison's disease. This is on top of her younger brother's newly discovered liver disease as he recovers from two bladder stone removal surgeries in February 2025!
