EDIT: GUYS, THE FIRST SLIDE IS NOT HANK X BROCK, I solely see their relationship as surrogate father and son. Hank clearly has idolized Brock, even in early seasons where he’s trying to get in on the action or just hanging out in his room. When Brock leaves, he feels sad because his idol and best friend is leaving. He grows out his hair, and he wears Brock’s jacket during the time Brock is gone.
