Big shout out to the person who borrowed the same book from the uni library as me, and who underlined all the important sentences and key points. You are actively making my work on my thesis easier. May you always be in the near proximity of a cup of your favorite hot beverage, and have a cookie to eat it with.
Some more wisdom from my PhD supervisor:
When I confided in him that I don't always feel good enough for science, he replied:
"Oh, I'm not good enough either. But that's okay, nobody is. We still try our best."
That reversal of mindset kinda stuck with me. Focus on the task rather than on your perception of yourself.

Slow day as I tried to put my thoughts together and plan out some stuff for this week.
Cleaned up my email inbox and sent some emails
Quickly read Anne Cordier's book to decide if it would be interesting for my thesis (turns out, not as much as I hoped)
Had a chat with my thesis advisor about ways to finance my thesis next year
Tonight, I hope to have the time to put out my Halloween and autumn decor. In the meantime, please enjoy my pretty pumpkin mug and candle holder 🎃🕯️✨
