i really wanted to fall in love just so i could relate better to music but i'm starting to think i'm incapable of romantically giving a fuck😭

update on this is i downloaded an app, started talking to some people, one of them wanted to meet last sunday so i freaked the fuck out and ghosted them since. but i kept talking to some others and one of them yesterday night suggested we eventually had a videocall date (we live quite far away) to watch a movie so i immediately also freaked out and didn't reply to her and didn't even touch the app at all today. so. there's that

#affirmations to tell myself before i sleep: someone asking to go on a date with me is not a life threat #i need to be sedated there is something deeply wrong with me as a human being #i don't even usually blame the stars but i want to dodge responsibility on this so i'll blame my natal chart #capricorn sun and venus + virgo moon + aqua mercury? yeah that's never going to work is it #she didn't even suggest the date in a weird or out of nowhere way #i just freaked out all by myself. i was actually really enjoying talking to her #i think my problem (one of them at least...)is that i rarely if ever get crushes #so even though i might be enjoying talking to someone i think i'd take me a solid 6 months to even reach the crush stage #but obviously im on a dating app so people do expect you to be kinda emotionally available #which i'm obviously not #but when i start to feel like people genuinely like me i freak out because i don't feel the same and i feel pressured to do so #and i know it's not that serious and she just wants to get to know me better #and if this was a strictly friendship thing i would be all for it #but add the romance part and i want to run for the hills and never come back #i want to fix this and myself but idk how #i think part of it is also me being closeted to my family but still living with them #so i don't feel totally safe to be myself and also feel suffocated constantly #and i freak out whenevr i think my independence is being threatened in some shape or form #which obviously didn't happen because she just asked to have a video call date and i'm just being ridiculous #and spiralling the whole day #so that's nice
