“I’d rather die my way than live yours”
Pandemonium by Lauren Oliver
“Love, the deadliest of all deadly things. It kills you. Alex. When you have it. Alex. And when you don’t. Alex.”
nobody loves no one: lena in the wilds. a delirium fanmix. listen.
Maybe it would be better if we didn’t love. If we didn’t lose either. If we didn’t get our hearts stomped on, shattered: if we didn’t have to patch and repatch until we’re like Frankenstein monsters, all sewn together and bound up by who knows what. If we could just float along, like snow.

I guess that’s just part of loving people: You have to give things up. Sometimes you even have to give them up.

You can’t be happy unless you’re unhappy sometimes
D E L I R I U M trilogy: locations → 3 7 B r o o k s
The best part of 37 Brooks is the garden in the back. An enormous overgrown lawn winds between ancient trees, so thick and gnarled and knotted their arms twist overhead and form a canopy. The sunlight filters through the trees and spots the grass a pale white.

But somehow it’s not gross or frightening. Somehow it’s kind of nice, and it makes me think of woods and endless cycles of growth and death and regrowth -like what we’re really hearing is the house folding down around us, centimeter by centimeter.

My sister used to stay on the s h o r e and build sand c a s t l e s, and we would pretend that they were real cities, like we’d s w u m all the way to the other side of the world, to the u n c u r e d places.

Trees close in around us, l e a v e s and b u s h e s press on me from all sides, brushing my face and shins and shoulders like t h o u s a n d s of dark hands, and from all around me a strange cacophony starts up, of fluttering things and owls hooting and animals scrabbling in the underbrush. The air smells so thickly of flowers and life it feels t e x t u r e d, like a curtain you could pull apart.
KISSING COUPLES OF YA: a battle of the best lip-locks! The Super Bowl may be over, but that doesn’t mean the competition is: just in time for Valentine’s Day, we’ve got 8 couples hand-picked by th…
omg PLEASE vote for Lena and Alex!
Sometimes I feel like if you just watch things, just sit still and let the world exist in front of you - sometimes I swear that just for a second time freezes and the world pauses in its tilt. Just for a second. And if you somehow found a way to live in that second, then you would live forever.
Lauren Oliver, Pandemoniun
Hey! Do you know where to find the Delirium TV series? I can only find the first episode and I am desperate!
There's only one episode. Only the pilot was filmed, which was rejected by Fox and then released online.

UK Covers of the Delirium trilogy and stories appreciation post (I couldn’t find a new cover for Hana and I’m not sure if they have Alex or not.) I mean, I love the US covers we have, but I really want to own these covers and I actually found a couple of them online. :)
Do you know if that link to the Delirium pilot safe?
Yeah, it is, I’d never give out links that are unsafe.

I’m choking. “I won’t do it." My voice doesn’t even sound like my own now: Its one long groan. I try to thrash out but my body is impossibly heavy and my vision starts to blur. Clouds roll through my mind; the world goes to fuzz.
