âLots of things come in handy, Iâll admit.â Malia hadnât been sure of what to think when sheâd only just turned, but now that sheâd had some time to adapt, she didnât think it was so bad to be a hybrid. She just didnât know why Cassius had turned her because after it had happened, he was nowhere to be found. Maybe he just wanted to use her or something by having her be his eyes and ears, but the brunette had a feeling that she hadnât seen or heard the last of him. âI donât really know this place by heart, so weâll just have to see where the main room is. Or any room that has people in it with answers. And if they refuse to give those to us, wellâŠâ she allowed her eyes to flicked bright blue for a couple of moments as she continued to head through the large building, keeping her eyes and ears peeled at all times.
As they strode through the building, Isaac kept his own eyes and ears trained on their surroundings. âIf they donât talk, we make them talk.â He agreed, eyes flashing a bright cerulean at his packmate, indicating he meant business just as much as she had. He then smelled two other scents nearby, halting in his tracks, Isaacâs ears caught a conversation between two other guards. âWait.â His voice fell very quiet, almost a whisper before they rounded the corridor. Peeking around the corner, he saw as both males were armed with guns, laughing about some inside joke they shared together. âYou take the one on the right? I get the left?â Isaac suggested, looking back to Malia then, whispering now. There had to be a reason the two guards were guarding that particular hallway, right?
