Today John was the only one sent to talk to Alfie. It was out of the norm for sure but both Tommy and Arthur were busy. John didn’t mind taking on the responsibility. Mostly because it gave him an excuse to see you. Alfie’s secretary that he’s found himself dramatically falling for.

Just as John had opened you were sitting at your desk outside Alfie’s office, sorting through paperwork when he approached. At the sight of John, you gave him that bright smile that John never could get enough of. The two of you spoke for a while until Alfie finally appeared and encouraged John to enter his office. Truthfully he was a little disappointed to be leaving you but he followed Alfie anyway, work had to be done.

“We don’t get to see each other often, do we John” Alfie folded his hands over his desk as John took a seat. “Before we start talkin’ business I think we should talk about you and my secretary eh?” Alfie raising an eyebrow. This understandably took John off guard but before he could defend himself Alfie was talking again. “I’ve noticed the way you look at them. All I got to say [Y/N] doesn’t only work for me but they’re a friend. If you hurt them I will fuckin’ shoot you... now we can talk business”.

I am writing you about the murder of George Floyd by MPD officers Derek Chauvin, Thomas Lane, J. Alexander Kueng, and Tou Thao. These men were not upholding the law, they were committing murder and terrorizing their community. Being fired is not an appropriate response to the crime. All officers must be charged with murder.

We cannot continue this way. This is not the way forward. Use your station and power for change; for good. Give a voice to the smothered. Prove that all lives matter. Do your job.
