The expression itself comes from hallucinations caused by smoking an opium pipe. Phrases like these come from somewhere, they don't just appear out of thin air.

Following this logic - we can assume CRK had opium pipes at least at some point. Either that - or this phrase was passed down from the witches - in which case - they were the ones that used opium or lived in a world in which opium was smoked via pipes at some point.

This was probably an oversight on their part and definitely NOT how it was meant to be taken.

Was making a blatant self-insert OC and I copied Hunter's "binder". Then I realized how perfectly trans masc (and autistic) coded hunter's design is
