truly, anya has inherited her useful talent of disguise from her father.
this chapter was genuinely so fire tho and it ended in a cliff hanger :( you're telling me i have to wait another two weeks for the next chapter man
the start was great, get back to your room dr forger. i know you want to investigate and stuff but seriously, that stomach ulcer is going to come bite you in the ass when you're trying to work so it's better for both you and the mission if you just stay put.
besides, fiona is actually handling the mission pretty well. she's obviously quite intelligent and i need to know what information she recovers from her spying on desmond, and how that could affect the later chapters.
speaking of desmond, i am genuinely so curious as to what his connections with the guy in the hospital is. we know desmond was a key contributor to the war (I think, i might be remembering wrong) or at the very least is politically tied to aggression between westalis and ostania, and since the man in the hospital apparently started the war, we can infer that they may have been comrades or associates (?).
and anya figuring out how to search for desmond by learning from damian's characteristics is kinda cute, honestly. she definitely has quite a lot of mastery over her telepathy to hone and concentrate on a single person and when she grows up, i think she could be a very valuable intelligence asset (if she chooses to go that path, that is).
and the ending, man. the sparks flying around anya's head were very beautiful, honestly. i think the spy x family manga might have my favourite manga art style ever. granted, i havent read a lot of manga, so...
the last two panels are quite interesting, because anya's telepathy has never caused sparks before, and i interpreted it as her connecting to donovan's mind. since he is also rumoured to be a telepath, it would make sense to have something different to indicate that. oh, i desperately want to know how this plays out
