Harry Potter and the Cursed Child - Cast Two.

I made a post about the original cast on who they played and covered (if any) because some people didn’t know who was who with wigs and stuff, so I thought I’d make an updated version with cast two! hope this helps!

I feel like because most of the admins on this page don’t talk anymore, it’s a bit silly to still have it running and that person still have their own blog when you could ask me on that and I’ll answer it and on here I don’t reallly see it

I was just looking a couple of the cast photos on the play's instagram page (cos I'm trying to find some wigs so I can cosplay as some of the characters) and the comments on one of the photos of Samuel as Scorpius are horrible :( they're saying things like he's ugly and that they don't like this cast and that Anthony was better and on a photo of Theo as Albus someone said that they don't like Scorpius and now I'm sad and wanna give Sam a hug :(

Honestly, it’s probably best to ignore it. The cast are amazingly talented and they’re all stunningly beautiful people but people do hate and, as invalid as it may be, can state their own opinions. As long as they don’t sway your opinion on the cast then is shouldn’t bother you. I think we’d all like to give Samuel a hug, he’s a cute little bean 💚

Unfortunately not! We have a smaller group that are chilling and doing our own thing. Looks cool though, maybe stop by if you're going! 💚

Is there any rumours out there about what will be happening on the 1st?

Apart from the rigging that’s going up outside the theatre, we honestly have no idea! The cast are doing very well to #keepthesecrets but yeah, we don’t have a clue. We’ve heard rumours of JK showing up, so that might happen.. who knows 🤷🏻‍♀️

Will we be able to buy the new souvenir brochure online?

I think so! I know they had to recall them because of a printing issue so they should be at the theatre and online soon :)

You know the bathrobes that Albus and Scorpius wear after they come out of the lake, do you know where you can buy one like it? And the slytherin bedding cos that it so cool and would love to have one like it! XD

I think it was all made for the show! I have really wanted the bedding for ages. You could probably find something similar online

Nope. And I don't intend to find out. There are some that post about having a partner on social media but that's all I know and I don't want to dig into their personal lives.

Do you know how they do the telephone box scenes? It looks so clever how it's done but I also reckon it's so simple too.

I do! So if you notice when the actors leave the stage they have their hoods up, that’s because there is another person waiting to swap with them.

When Jamie leaves his office, he puts his hood up and leaves shutting the door. Behind the door is another member of the cast with the exact same cloak and hood up. Jamie will then take the door off stage and the actor would walk to the telephone box. In the phone part it would open and one of the tech guys would set up something so they’re able to pull the cloak through. Once it’s set up, the member of the cast who was in the cloak will be lowered down on a trap stage.

When the three of them go through, it’s the same concept except Jamie, Rakie and Thomas would walk into the shadows of the stage and some of the caste members would walk across the stage as a diversion of such and then a member of the cast would take over from the trio with a 3-man-cloak (basically it’s just one cast member with the outline two other cloaks) and then the same thing happens as above.

Hope this makes sense. Once you see it, you’ll know what I mean :)

Do you think it's wrong of me if I want to record any conversations I have with the actors at SD? It's just I want to have a memory of the experience. I know people do live streams so it's sort of the same just not as obvious...

I mean, sad long as you don't post it around but for personal use then that's cool. I have a really bad memory too so when I talk to people I forget everything I just said. :)

What if I feel terrible because I'm poor and will likely never get to see the show because it's in a different country and also expensive but I still desperately want to see it?

Sorry! I rushed into replying before reading the ask properly! There are plans for it to come to other countries so hopefully it comes to yours! Again sorry for not replying properly, we're all human after all x
