i think it is hilarious how i'm having LV pursue the Sallow Spirifer vs. the Blind Pianist storyline after like... 8 years in the game, as a tier 3 POSI who has completed their Ambition and 2 other major storylines. i also find it really funny how it looks like she's going to encourage the Blind Pianist to use the Dawn Machine because the result will have Fascinating Scientific Implications. and also how she started by favouring the Spirifer then telling the Infernal Ambassador "yeah for sure i'll betray the Blind Pianist" only to go full circle in the betrayal loop and end up genuinely aiding the Blind Pianist. because she's going to get to conduct an experiment in the field combining the applications of Red Science and Glasswork. i mean i guess that's why she's the Unsettling Academic after all.

it is astounding to me that there doesn't seem to be a huge johannes cabal x fallen london AU among us fans... i mean, yes all 5 of us, but still. those two works go practically hand in hand. it also lines up perfectly in terms of setting now that fallen london's in-game year is 1904 i think (although officially, by royal decree, it will forever be 1899). i can see so clearly how cabal would take a research trip into the neath, where it is rumored that nobody dies, hell is next door, and you can uncover arcane secrets of terrible consequence...
